Chapter 1188: Chapter 402: Thorny Iron Ball_4

Soon, a solid iron ball with a diameter of two meters appeared out of thin air, spinning at high speed.

“Sizzle Sizzle Sizzle!”

The surface of the iron ball was covered with densely packed spikes of varying lengths, sparking wildly as they scraped against the ground.

With a wave of Rein’s right hand, there was a ‘whoosh’ sound, and accompanied by massive kinetic energy, the giant iron ball traced a straight line, blasting towards the smooth surface of the metal ingot!

“Boom!!!”

A deafening noise reverberated in the room!

The giant cylindrical metal block on the slide rail was directly pushed to the end by this strike.

Even the room’s floor experienced a slight tremor.

Rein focused his gaze, noticing that most of the spikes from the Third Level Witchcraft ‘Thorny Iron Ball’ had embedded directly into the giant metal ingot.

“Clang Clang Clang!”

At the same time, the metal block, weighing tens of tons, oscillated back and forth on the slide rail.

Meanwhile, on the nearby black Wisdom Tablet, a large number prominently displayed — 191!

“Such power!” Rein’s eyes lit up as he spoke.

“Although the attack method of this Thorny Iron Ball is somewhat monotonous, its power is indeed astonishing.”

It’s known that the power of a typical Third Level Witchcraft generally ranges from 120 to 200 degrees.

Now, thanks to Super Metal Element Affinity, along with the special effects of the Steel Heart Advanced Meditation Method, the destructive power of Rein’s Third Level Witchcraft has almost reached the upper limit of Third Level Witchcraft power.

According to the effect described on the Sheepskin Scroll, the normal diameter of a Thorny Iron Ball should be around one and a half meters.

But the iron ball Rein just cast, not considering the length of the spikes, reached a diameter of two meters.

At this moment, a system prompt appeared:

Meanwhile, a brand new icon appeared at the bottom of the Warhammer Wizard (Legendary) panel.

The icon depicted a huge metal ball with uneven spikes.

Additionally, the small text below the icon read as follows:

Thorny Iron Ball lv1 (1/100)

Thorny Iron Ball lv1 effect: Consumes a certain amount of spiritual power to use a specific witchcraft model to mobilize surrounding metal energy particles, forming a giant Thorny Iron Ball, and launches a ramming crushing attack on all targets in a straight line.

(Note: Casting time is 3 seconds.)

“All targets in a straight line, huh?”

Rein immediately grasped a feature of this new witchcraft.

Although increasing proficiency in Third Level Witchcraft is multiple times more challenging than Second Level Witchcraft, Rein was already prepared.

Without much hesitation, Rein instantly invested 11 Skill Points, plus 8 Golden Skill Points, into the Third Level Witchcraft ‘Thorny Iron Ball.’

As the Third Level Witchcraft ‘Thorny Iron Ball’ was upgraded from lv1 to lv20, a flood of extensive memories regarding the ‘Thorny Iron Ball’ witchcraft inundated Rein’s mind.

For a moment, Rein felt as if he had entered a mysterious space, continuously practicing the Third Level Witchcraft ‘Thorny Iron Ball’ for a hundred to two hundred years, compressing the syllables to the utmost, with casting becoming almost instinctive.

…

The following morning.

In the Inner Ring of the Imperial City Tamriel, a carriage slowly came to a stop at the gates of the Snyder family residence, where ‘Chimera Knight’ Luther resided.

As Rein stepped down from the carriage, two imposing Great Knights, who had been waiting at the entrance, swiftly approached.

“Lord Rein, long time no see! Your recent battle achievements are truly astounding!” Luther greeted enthusiastically upon seeing Rein.

“Indeed, Lord Rein, your feat of slaying the most formidable Legendary ‘Carver’ Harold has recently spread throughout the noble circles of the Imperial City.” Halowin chimed in with a smile.

“Lord Luther, Lord Halowin, it’s been a while. Both of your strengths have improved, congratulations.” Rein said with a smile.

He had just perceived that both Halowin and Luther seemed to have slightly enhanced their abilities.

Clearly, these two had not been idle recently, and were probably actively preparing for the Dragon Knight Reserve selection.

After a round of pleasantries, the three moved to the parlor and sat down.

At this time, Rein directly asked: “Lord Luther, I would like to ask, what is the specific method for next week’s Dragon Knight Reserve selection?”
