Chapter 1172: 398: Explosion_4

But the golem from their own captain, whether in terms of witchcraft attack frequency or defensive power, far surpassed Claire’s understanding.

She believed that even a general Legendary Strongman wouldn’t be able to match the golem from their captain.

Just as the two women breathed a slight sigh of relief, Rein’s gaze was fixed on a certain direction.

“It’s coming!”

Hmm?

What’s coming?

Just as the two women showed confusion, suddenly, the ground lightly trembled, and the trees in the forest snapped with ‘crack’, as if some gigantic beast was rushing swiftly toward them.

“Be careful!”

“Oh my God! What kind of terrifying monster is this!”

A creature, about three and a half meters tall, with an upper body of muscle-bound granite-like strength similar to a robust male and a lower body like that of a gigantic scorpion, charged rapidly toward the golem.

A powerful and savage aura instantly enveloped the entire site!

“Boom!”

The opponent’s speed was exceptionally fast, and the strength was even more terrifying, directly knocking the Hellfire Demon Statue, weighing over ten tons, flying away.

And the next second, an even more horrifying scene unfolded.

The thick metal arm of the Hellfire Demon Statue was actually gripped tightly by the opponent’s hands and forcibly ripped off with a twist!

“Looks like your golem is done for.” At this moment, a deep voice sounded. A middle-aged wizard dressed in a black Wizard Robe, bearing the emblem of three skulls on his chest, walked out from the dense forest.

“I heard that your transformation can greatly improve your combat power, perhaps you could save your golem.” Staven’s eyes flashed with a trace of excitement, and he said.

“Oh? That may not be necessary.” Rein looked at the Hellfire Demon Statue, clearly at a disadvantage, with one arm already torn off, and said calmly.

“Although the time for deploying the test was slightly short, it was considered complete.”

“Hmm?” Staven heard Rein’s words, momentarily somewhat unclear.

But before he could think it through, suddenly, his eyes widened sharply, watching the colossal creatures battling intensely.

This energy is…

Only to see the golem, pressed under the body of his scorpion man, suddenly surge with energy waves multiplying several times!

The next second, a dazzling green light, ten times stronger than the sun, flashed by!

Following this, a semi-spherical transparent shock wave, visible to the naked eye, rapidly spread out.

After two seconds, there was the ear-splitting roar akin to an arsenal explosion that arrived!

Even though Dick and others were several hundred meters away from the center of the explosion, they were still blasted by the air waves, and all the surrounding trees toppled like stalks of wheat, and even the sturdy carts, most of them were overturned.

“You!” Although Staven immediately released Third Level defensive witchcraft, thwarting the shock wave and sound wave damage, his brows furrowed, his mind feeling as if a small knife was inserted.

Because the scorpion man, as his most important undead, had a spiritual link with him.

Yet the scorpion man’s sudden death brought an unexpected strong backlash to Staven’s spirit.

“Boom!”

A huge chunk of scorched corpse, as big as a water tank, happened to land heavily between Rein and Staven.

The surface of this half-scorched corpse still vaguely showed a piece of dark metal chest armor with complex patterns.

“Seems like I don’t need to transform.” Rein, watching Staven, said with a smile.

Although this Hellfire Demon Statue cost Rein a considerable amount of rare metal, using self-destruct to directly eliminate a Legendary Peak-level undead wasn’t something Rein would feel bad about.

In terms of feeling regret, the opponent has more to worry about.

“Damn!”

“Do you know what you’ve done!” Staven glanced at the scorched corpse, his eyes turning red instantly!

The scorpion man, in whom he placed great hopes, along with the iron spine undead chest armor, was directly destroyed by the self-destruct of the opponent’s golem!

Along with that, it also destroyed his long-endeavored opportunity to promote to Dawn Wizard through formal training as an Undead Wizard!

In that case, he had no other choice!

…

Meanwhile.

Several tens of miles away, beneath the Sword Blade Volcano, deep within the seething lava nearly a thousand meters below, a colossal creature soaked within, seemingly in a deep sleep.

Suddenly, the creature’s originally tightly closed massive eyes instantly opened, a pair of huge vertical pupils gazed toward the recently exploded direction.

Only to sense something, began to straightened its form.

“Roar!”

As it unfolded its enormous flesh wings covered with red scales, a beast resembling a Red Dragon Giant Beast Rein had seen before, emitted a resonating Dragon Roar, then abruptly flapped the huge wings, leaping from the lava, charging straight toward the volcano’s mouth above!

…
