Chapter 1164: Chapter 396: Tutkash_4

“By the way, the reason I called you here is to have you assassinate a Fine Gold Level Sword Bearer of the Dragan Empire,” Graham stated, getting to the point.

“I’ve been busy with experiments lately, why not send Cyprian?” Staven furrowed his brow and said.

“Two reasons: first, because this request comes from the Isodre Wizard School. As you know, being in the Shirendil Plateau, if they turn a blind eye to some things, our school can live quite comfortably.”

“The second reason is that based on intelligence, this Imperial Sword Bearer possesses the ability of a Bloodline Transformation and has even killed Gray, the Legendary Strongman from Brighton, nicknamed ‘Corpse Splitter.ʼ”

“I know you’re working on an experiment recently. Although you obtained the corpse of a Legendary Strongman from Brighton, the compatibility issue has been troubling you.”

“Since this Imperial Sword Bearer is capable of killing ‘Corpse Splitter’ Greg, their strength surpasses the corpse you currently possess. Perhaps their body might help you solve the compatibility problem.”

Upon hearing this, Staven’s bloodshot eyes immediately lifted, gazing at the Sect Leader of the Tutkash School before him.

“Alright! Give me one day, and after I forcibly merge this flesh golem, I will set off,” Staven agreed after a moment’s thought.

“Hmm, the information about the target is here. The combat power increase after their transformation seems considerable. You can take this bottle of Spider God’s Blood first.” Graham handed over a bottle, emanating a hazy witchcraft light within a blood-red vial.

“Understood.” After a moment’s hesitation, Staven reached out and took the bottle of Spider God’s Blood.

Staven knew well that once he consumed the Spider God’s Blood, although his power would surge, it would also mean a choice from which there was no return, and he might finally become the long-awaited Dawn Wizard.

At that point, he would gradually be drawn into the embrace of the Spider God Nashubra, just like the Sect Leader before him.

At least in his understanding, relying on this to become a Fourth Level Dawn Wizard was not truly becoming a Dawn Wizard, but rather akin to a high-ranking cult priest.

Therefore, over the decades, he had held steadfast, experimenting by merging two or more legendary creatures through a special kind of undead witchcraft to create an Epic-level flesh golem.

If successful, not only would he gain an Epic-level flesh golem, but he would also successfully ascend to the level of a Fourth Level Dawn Wizard.

This has been one of the traditional methods of advancement for the undead witchcraft Tutkash School throughout history.

…

Three days later.

In the study of Rein Mansion, Imperial City Tamriel.

“Lord Rein, Major General Tatia asked me to inform you that the purge operation has ended, and you can take on the headquarters’ mission at any time,” Olena, wearing black hunting pants and a white floral blouse, said with a smile.

“Alright, I understand. By the way, Olena, how is the recruiting of team members going?” Rein asked.

“I was just about to report to you. Claire and Beyonce are quite overwhelmed with this matter lately,” Olena covered her mouth and chuckled.

“Overall, there are too many people wanting to join your team, and they’re having a hard time deciding whom to choose. They tentatively chose four candidates, but you still have the final decision.”

As she spoke, Olena handed Rein a stack of dossiers, which were the profiles of these four individuals.

“Why are they all women?” Rein scanned the documents briefly and asked Olena with some surprise.

“Didn’t you tell them it’s best to find two male team members?”

“Uh…” Olena blinked her beautiful eyes innocently at Rein, not knowing what to say.
