Chapter 1154: Chapter 394: Recruitment (Part 2)

When Rein returned to the mansion, he found that Anna was not in the bedroom.

However, he sensed for a moment and discovered that there were two people soundly sleeping in his sister Bo He’s room.

Apparently, his sister Bo He had pulled Anna to sleep with her.

Rein couldn’t help but smile slightly and shook his head.

Early the next morning.

After having breakfast with Anna and his family, Rein planned to head to the school base to continue completing the witch pattern tailor job change that he had not finished yesterday.

However, just as he got up from the desk and was about to leave, suddenly, a familiar voice came from the door.

”Lord Rein.”

Rein looked up and saw a woman dressed in a black pleated skirt, paired with a white princess sleeve shirt, appearing capable and efficient. It was Olena, smiling at the door.

”Oh? Lady Olena, why are you in the Imperial City?”

”Is Admiral Edward here in the Imperial City?” Rein couldn’t help but be slightly surprised, he asked.

”No, Lord Rein.” Olena, the capable woman, covered her mouth and chuckled.

”I received a transfer order from headquarters three days ago. I’ve come from the Mingster Branch to the Sword Holder Headquarters, and my current role is the Deputy Director of the headquarters reception, as well as your dedicated liaison officer.”

”Great, welcome, Lady Olena! With you here, it will be much more convenient to handle certain matters.” Rein immediately smiled and gestured for Olena to come in and sit down.

Quickly, the two of them were sitting face to face in the study.

”I have to thank Lord Rein for this.”

”Your reputation has soared in the Imperial City this time. It was Major General Tatia from headquarters who directly contacted me, hoping I could come to headquarters to assist.”

Rein listened and nodded slightly.

He knew that Olena had previously had the idea of coming to the Imperial Sword Bearer Headquarters, but as an administrative staff, the transfer was quite difficult, and this matter had been delayed.

”The other day, the senior leaders at headquarters even asked Admiral Edward how he nurtured such a powerful and young strongman like you, letting Admiral Edward have a good moment of pride.”

Olena laughed as she recounted some of the things that had happened during this time.

”By the way, Lord Rein, the commendation from headquarters has come down for capturing the Great Priest of the Black Flame Cult alive in the Fiery Flame Canyon Secret Realm the day before yesterday.”

”Because you captured him alive, the reward has been upgraded to a Fine Gold Medal, plus twenty thousand merit points.”

As Olena spoke, she slightly observed Rein in front of her, unable to help but marvel in her heart at how fast Lord Rein’s growth was.

”Oh? That’s nice. With twenty thousand merit points, Lady Olena, could you help me exchange them for ten soul energy crystals?” Rein pondered slightly and said.

Last time when he exchanged for soul energy crystals, the price was two thousand merit points plus a Diamond Star Task Evaluation Medal.

Although the Fine Gold Medal could be exchanged downwards in a three-three system, to become 27 Diamond Star Medals, the problem was that his merit points were not enough to exchange for 27 of them.

”Of course.” Olena nodded without hesitation.

Although for the vast majority of Sword Bearers, to exchange items, one must personally hold their own Sword Holder’s Emblem and go to the exchange hall to redeem.

But it did not include someone like Rein.

As the highest-level Fine Gold Swordsman, Rein had this privilege.

And her primary task after being transferred was to serve Lord Rein well.

...

An hour and a half later, Olena returned, handing a specially made wooden box to Rein.

”Lord Rein, these are your ten soul energy crystals.”

”Thank you.”

”Serving you is my job, do you have anything else you need me to do next?” Olena asked with a smile.

”Uh... In the near future, help me collect information on headquarters tasks related to dragons or dragon descendant creatures. Prioritize selecting powerful dragon creatures, the stronger, the better,” Rein thought for a moment and said.

Currently, his merit points are insufficient, but if there is a suitable dragon-hunting task, he could execute it.

Because during the execution of these tasks, not only can he earn considerable merit point rewards, more importantly, by absorbing dragon gene segments, he can achieve another increase in bloodline concentration.

”Okay, Lord Rein, I will take care of it right away.”

”No rush, compile it for me before the headquarters purge is over.” Rein waved his hand and said.

”And, one more thing, help me recruit two team members, or, you can let Claire and Beyonce first look around for this matter.”

”Okay, sir, I’ll get in touch with the two ladies right away.” Olena nodded and said.

...

After Olena left, Rein directly opened the wooden box.

Inside the box were ten neatly arranged soul energy crystals.

Thinking for a moment, Rein grabbed the ten soul energy crystals all at once.

[Ding! Detected soul energy crystals available to enhance spiritual power liquidation level, accelerate absorption? (Note: System absorption can remove impurities and absorb all at once.)]

”Yes!”

Instantly, Rein felt the silver mist in his mind begin to decrease, while the silver liquid began to increase.

The whole process lasted only a few seconds before the transformation stopped.

Clearly, at the late stage of spiritual power liquidation, the effect of soul energy crystals is getting weaker.

Rein glanced at the system panel:

Spirit: 93 (Liquidation 82%)

”Ten soul energy crystals could only improve by 9%?” Rein raised an eyebrow, thinking to himself.

During this time, thanks to the effect of the Steel Heart Advanced Meditation Method Second Layer, the liquidation level increased by 1%, from 72% to 73%.
