Chapter 1179: Chapter 400: Crystalization_3

Secondly, this is too dangerous. If Blood Feather were swallowed by the Molten Fire Dragon, the loss would be significant.

Thinking about it, Rein turned around and said: ”Let’s go, I fear the other party will change locations once they recover.”

”I just don’t know if this counts as completing the mission.” Rein murmured softly.

The two women listened and exchanged puzzled looks.

Indeed!

After all, the threat of the Molten Fire Dragon has been eliminated, but their captain didn’t use the method of killing it.

At this time, Beyonce beckoned to Dick and said: ”Sir Dick, have someone observe at the foot of the mountain for a while. If the Molten Fire Dragon Hermados leaves, report it to the headquarters.”

”As you command, Miss Beyonce.” Dick immediately understood Beyonce’s meaning, appearing to have a moment of clarity, he responded.

For Rein, although he did not manage to kill the Molten Fire Dragon Hermados, he wasn’t feeling down.

On the contrary, on the way back, he was in a rather good mood.

Because the gains this time far exceeded expectations, he smoothly advanced to a Third Level Crystallization Wizard, which he hadn’t anticipated before coming. Rein originally thought it would take him several months to get promoted.

As for the Molten Fire Dragon, whether to kill it or not wasn’t really a point of particular concern for him.

...

After Rein and his team had left for a full half-hour, several fist-sized red firebirds suddenly emerged from the Molten Lava Lake, flying into the sky, surveying the surroundings in several circles.

Immediately after, a giant creature cautiously poked its head out from the Molten Lava Lake in the Sword Blade Volcano.

Seemingly out of caution, the Molten Fire Dragon Hermados stealthily flew to the crater, then stopped, watching from afar as Rein and his party truly departed before exhaling a long breath:

”Truly terrifying humans, even the avatar of the divine, they managed to defeat.”

”It seems, this Sword Blade Volcano is no longer a place to stay.”

”Once the wounds heal, it must find a new place to reside.” Hermados’ slit pupils flickered.

...

A few hours later, on the return airship.

Rein was contemplating alone in a luxurious cabin.

”Now, with the prerequisite conditions for the Dragon Vein Wizard, I have completed two items, leaving just the last, the Giant Dragon Blood Essence.”

Previously, at the Frostwind Prairie, Rein had tried the Blood Essence of Ancestor Dragon Kolaxius, but the system did not accept it.

This is also why Rein was not very concerned about the Molten Fire Dragon Hermados.

From historical records, Fire Dragons are not considered Giant Dragons, top-tier sub-dragon species at most are just sub-dragon species.

After thinking carefully, it made sense as the prerequisite for job transition clearly states ’a complete Giant Dragon Blood Essence’.

The key is on the ’complete’ and ’Giant Dragon’ aspects.

”This is indeed tricky, but in the next half month, the Dragon Knight Reserve selection will happen.”

”Maybe soon, I can actually come into contact with a real Giant Dragon.” Rein mused.

After all, if I can’t even come into contact with a Giant Dragon, there’s no talking about obtaining ’a complete Giant Dragon Blood Essence’.

”It just happens that these days I can try to earn some Contribution Points at the school, to exchange for the third tier of the Steel Heart.”

”Ideally, I would also exchange for the Third Level Metal Series Witchcraft ’Steel Fist’, though with fourteen thousand Contribution Points needed, it’s unlikely to be resolved in a short time.”

”After all, opportunities like the Fiery Flame Canyon Secret Realm aren’t everyday events.”

...

By the afternoon of the next day.

When Rein returned to the Sword Bearer Headquarters in Imperial City Tamriel, Olena immediately received the message from the airship docking station staff.

”Lord Rein, everything about the mission went smooth...” Quickly, Olena, dressed in black straight pants and a long-sleeved shirt with white patterns, came over with a smile.

But, as soon as she began to speak, she swallowed her words.

Because after Olena glanced around, she noticed the heavy demon statue hadn’t returned, and she didn’t see any spoils concerning the Molten Fire Dragon.

So, with high emotional intelligence, Olena immediately fell silent.

Because this was the first time, as far as she could recall, that she had seen the young Lord Rein in a mission failure scenario.

When Olena’s questioning gaze swept towards Claire, Claire shook her head and voluntarily said:

”Sir Olena, although we didn’t kill the Molten Fire Dragon Hermados, I don’t think it can be said this mission failed.”

”Because that Molten Fire Dragon Hermados kept hiding from the Captain, staying submerged in the depths of the Molten Lava Lake, not daring to emerge at all.”

”Hiding from Lord Rein?” Olena blinked her beautiful eyes, obviously puzzled.

Though she was a civilian personnel, she had worked in the Sword Bearer department for over ten years.

Olena naturally knew that all Fierce Species have a strong territorial instinct, often fighting to the death to protect their territory, let alone a Fire Dragon like Hermados.

”Yes!” Claire nodded heavily, saying.

”Sir Olena, it’s just as well you’re here, perhaps you should contact Major General Tatia immediately.” Rein nodded with a smile as he saw Olena, saying.

”We encountered something halfway. Although we didn’t kill the Molten Fire Dragon this time, we encountered a divine avatar.”

”What!” Olena’s beautiful eyes widened at once, covering her mouth with her hand, exclaiming.

”And now, that divine avatar...”

”The Captain has already destroyed that Evil God’s avatar.” Beyonce added at an appropriate time.
