Chapter 1157: Chapter 395: Magic Potion Master

In the following days, Rein was basically immersed in rune tailoring.

Although Audrey and Alicia were curious about why Rein suddenly ‘became addicted’ to rune tailoring, they dared not disturb him and could only bury this doubt in their hearts.

As the Experience Points for crafting the ‘Apprentice Robe’ began to decrease, Rein initially considered visiting Jacqueline to inquire about more advanced rune tailoring blueprints, but he later thought it was inappropriate.

After all, his rate of progress was quite astonishing.

Besides, it wouldn’t be long before he might seek out the other party for blueprints.

Rather than this, he decided to check at the material exchange point directly.

Sure enough, at the material exchange, Rein spent 100 Contribution Points and exchanged for a new rune tailoring blueprint—’Clean Robe’.

Compared to its predecessor ‘Apprentice Robe’, this ‘Clean Robe’ was more challenging to produce, but its quality was also higher, barely stepping into the tier of Advanced Witchcraft Tools.

The tier classification of Witchcraft Tools is complex, related to the number, practicality, and power of zero-level witchcrafts, as well as production difficulty, material rarity, and other factors.

Overall, this evaluation is akin to the five-dimensional chart Rein had seen in his previous life.

Additionally, Rein discovered that with his new Core Skill ‘Concentration’, its effect was particularly good when used in learning new rune tailoring blueprints.

Once ‘Concentration’ was activated, his thoughts became exceptionally clear, and it felt as though he had divine assistance when he started sewing.

Originally, some areas required guidance from others, but Rein could figure them out after slight contemplation.

After several attempts, system notifications began to appear:

[You have crafted an Advanced Witchcraft Tool, ‘Clean Robe’, and related understanding has improved!]

[You have comprehended a new Skill—Clean Robe]

[Your Skill in crafting Clean Robe has improved, Experience Points +10]

[You successfully crafted an Advanced Witchcraft Tool ‘Clean Robe’, rune tailoring Professional Experience Points +103]

….

Inside Rein’s new mansion.

“Anna, try it.” Rein handed a white Wizard Robe to Anna.

Anna’s face clearly showed joy, her beautiful eyes looking at Rein, saying, “Rein, is this for me?”

“Yes, this is my first completed Advanced Witchcraft Tool, ‘Clean Robe’.” Rein introduced with a smile.

“Just inject a touch of spiritual power, and it will trigger two zero-level witchcrafts ‘Dust Removal Technique’ and ‘Decontamination Skill’, keeping the robe clean and tidy at all times.”

When Anna changed into it, she found not only the two zero-level witchcrafts embedded in the robe to be highly effective, but the entire Clean Robe also fitted very well.

“Ah, Rein, how do you know my size?”

“Well… after all, I’ve measured.” Rein spread his hands and said.

Rein’s words suddenly made Anna’s face blush with a rosy hue; she lightly hit Rein’s chest, then the two playful tussled for a while.

“Knock knock knock!”

At this moment, a knock on the study’s door echoed.

With a slight perception, Rein knew who was outside.

“Come in!”

This time Olena arrived, accompanied by Tatia in a trim Major’s uniform.

The two first glanced at Anna’s blushed face, then at the crease-still-marked robe, and couldn’t help but blush slightly themselves.

Wow… Lord Rein was just too…

In broad daylight.

In the study…

“Rein, you continue being busy.” The matter-of-fact gaze of the two women immediately made Anna even shyer, nodding quickly to them before leaving a remark and hastily exiting the study.

“Ahem… ladies, please sit.” Rein coughed to cover the awkwardness.

“Lord Rein, we’ve come to inform you of a situation.”

“The Drum Family indicated that the actions against you last time were entirely the personal actions of Greenwood, and now, including the butler Owen, he has been dismissed.”

“They propose to compensate for the loss you experienced last time. Regarding this matter, headquarters wants me to ask your opinion.”

“Headquarters’ opinion is my opinion.” Rein thought and then uttered a politically correct phrase.

From his understanding over this period, Rein naturally realized the intricate relationships involved, not only including the Conservative Party and Reformist, but also the demands of various imperial prominent families, plus other deep-seated reasons.

Even behind the Drum Family, there stood an Imperial Guardian.

Of course, this doesn’t mean the matter is settled, just that the timing isn’t right yet.

From another perspective, even if Rein wished to confront head-on at this moment, he’d need the strength to overpower the Guardian titled ‘Storm Cloud’, otherwise, it would be laughable to overestimate himself.

As for the condition that the Imperial Guardian cannot intervene, there are prerequisites.

If you attack another’s family, it would naturally be perceived as a provocation to the Imperial Guardian, and the intervention to deal with you would be justified.

Moreover, Rein considered that he might not only be facing the Drum Family.

Given the opposite party’s century-long intricate network within the Empire’s aristocracy, Rein must consider its underlying and lateral alliances.

Currently, he is viewed as part of the Empire’s Reformist, belonging to the Sword Bearer Headquarters, meaning his decisions will be expanded upon, naturally respecting the opinions of General Augustus and Marshal Alfred.
