Chapter 1162: Chapter 396: Tutkash (Part 2)

”The overall power is driven by a small furnace powered by Hellfire Crystal Stone, capable of releasing Shadow Type and Fire Element witchcraft. Of course, this requires adding relevant witchcraft inscriptions.”

”I’ve currently added the witchcraft inscriptions for Shadow Arrow and Fireball Technique...”

As Mogaro continued explaining in detail, Rein nodded frequently.

He didn’t expect that he himself hadn’t mastered the Fireball Technique yet, but his puppet had learned it first.

Ever since returning from the Fiery Flame Canyon Secret Realm, he had been pondering this matter.

Since acquiring thirteen pieces of Hellfire Crystal Stone, he wondered if he could try making a Giant Axe Demon Statue Guard.

But after careful consideration, he realized there were still several issues with it.

Firstly, the essence of the Giant Axe Demon Statue Guard is a large mechanical puppet from the Rock System, composed entirely of stone components, not metal, which isn’t suitable for him to play to his strengths.

Thus, the first difficulty is how to use the blueprint to replace all its mechanical parts with metal materials.

Metal Series puppets complement his Super Metal Affinity nicely.

At that time, not only could he change the War Magic Statue’s weapons at any time, but he could also swap out specific metal materials of the statue and so on. From another angle, the Metal Series statue also became his ’arsenal’.

Secondly, according to the original blueprint, the Giant Axe Demon Statue Guard can reach seven to eight meters in height, and once it moves, it becomes quite noisy.

Therefore, Rein thought of that Iron Man’s metal arm, and he asked Master Mogaro then whether the statue’s dimensions could be reduced a bit.

Because of Rein’s two requests, Mogaro spent quite some effort and even put aside his pride to seek advice from several Puppet Masters from the Rock System to complete the current product.

”Rein, after precise processing and proportional scaling down, this Steel War Demon statue is only four meters tall, but its melee power is not reduced at all, comparable to the original eight-meter Giant Axe Demon Statue Guard.”

”Thank you for your hard work, Master.” Rein bowed slightly toward Mogaro, expressing his gratitude.

Lately, he didn’t have much time and energy, nor could he afford to spend precious skill points to research improvements on the statue, so he entrusted the matter to Master Mogaro from the start.

Rein didn’t expect Mogaro to be so dedicated.

The War Magic Statue produced exceeded all his expectations.

”Master, has this new statue been named?”

”Not yet, I called you here to name it.” Mogaro said with a smile.

”Inappropriate, inappropriate. Master, you’ve invested so much effort, you should be the one to name it.” Rein shook his head, saying.

”Well then...”

”How about calling it Hellfire Demon Statue? Its power source, the Hellfire Crystal Stone, is the most valuable thing.”

”Good! Let’s call it Hellfire Demon Statue.” Rein smiled and nodded.

...

Another two days passed.

Inside the headquarters of the Royal Pharmacist Association.

When Rein successfully crafted the third advanced magic potion ’Bright Scale Electric Eel’s Lung’, a system prompt sounded:

[Ding! Detected that host has mastered the crafting of three advanced magic potions, triggers Deadly Poison Master (Transcendent) subsequent career change—Magic Potion Master (Legendary)!]

[Preconditions for career change to Magic Potion Master (Legendary): One, potion-related profession at Transcendent level lv5 or above; Two, Spirit points above 30; Three, mastering the crafting of three or more advanced magic potions... All current conditions fulfilled!]

[... Yes/No to complete career change to Magic Potion Master (Legendary)?]

[Note: After changing to Magic Potion Master (Legendary), it will override the Deadly Poison Master (Transcendent) career panel.]

...

Rein saw it and chose ”Yes” without hesitation!

[Ding! Career change successful!]

[Successful change to Magic Potion Master (Legendary)! Constitution +3, Agility +2, Spirit +5! Acquired core skill of Magic Potion Master (Legendary): Magic Potion Control lv1 (passive).]

[Magic Potion Control lv1 (passive): Due to your long-term dedication to researching magic potion crafting, your potion success rate has been slightly increased, simultaneously enhancing the effects of all configured potions.]

(Note: If configured as a poison, the difficulty of the poison being cleansed by a Detoxification Potion or ’Detoxification Spell’ is slightly raised.)

”This new core skill ’Magic Potion Control’ is essentially an upgraded version of the original Deadly Poison Master (Transcendent) core skill ’Deadly Poison’, extending from poison to all Transcendent potions.”

”Moreover, the original Deadly Poison Master’s other skill ’Poison Resistance Constitution’ has long been fused with the Mutated Dragon Bloodline, so it’s not considered lost.” Rein mused.

...

That afternoon, when Rein returned to his residence, he received a small surprise.

On his desk lay a brown wooden box, inside it were three Soul Energy Crystals, sent via airship by the lady Jennifer.

Seeing the Soul Energy Crystals, Rein felt quite moved.

Obviously, one big reason Jennifer stayed in Mingster was to use the convenience of being an Axon Auction House shareholder to help him collect some items, including Soul Energy Crystals.

Fortunately, with Lagaray and the Ice Claw Bear Mercenary Group around Jennifer, and the protection from the Duke of Mingster and Admiral Edward, while safety can’t be guaranteed as absolutely secure, there’s at least considerable assurance.

”Knock, knock!”

At this moment, a knock sounded on the study door, interrupting Rein’s thoughts.

”Come in.”

Olena entered the study with a land deed in her hand, smiling as she said:

”Lord Rein, the compensation from the Drum Family has arrived, totaling an estate in the outskirts of the Imperial City and an additional two hundred thousand Imperial Gold Coins.”
