Undead Mage from a Cell

Upon hearing what Gu Xi said, Eve immediately understood what needed to be done next.

At the same time, she also realized that in the upcoming periods, the Magic District might not have much to do.

Perhaps Yalidu City’s Magic District will only be arranged before the Heroic District.

Before that, Eve wanted to thoroughly and solidly handle everything, so that once she secures a suitable city, she can immediately make arrangements.

Thus, Eve quickly withdrew to return and review the data, rethinking a more suitable approach.

After Eve left, Gu Xi returned to Yalidu City.

By this time, the two young princes had returned to the Bloody Tower, while Eldest Princess Anna was there organizing the troops that had retreated from the York Dynasty period.

”My lord.”

Seeing Gu Xi arrive, Eldest Princess Anna and several retreating Undead Heroes quickly bowed their heads towards Gu Xi.

As the war ended, most of the Undead Heroes had also withdrawn.

From the York Dynasty period, only Dali and Amirka remained.

Dali stayed because he had a certain level of defense attributes, acting as a temporary guard.

Amirka didn’t want to return the cavalry for the time being and was now hunting outside Yalidu City.

In Amirka’s words, he wanted to help Luna clear out some enemies near Yalidu City, but everyone knew he just wanted to lead a cavalry charge.

It seems he won’t be back for a few days.

Gu Xi also understood Amirka’s actions; having been restricted for a while, now that he encountered such an opportunity, he might as well let him unwind a bit.

After all, the next battle still required Amirka’s power.

”Hmm, how is the organization of the troops, have all the losses been accounted for this time?”

”Yes, they have been. In this battle, we lost about more than 6,700 undead. Most of the losses are from uncommanded cannon fodder troops.

Among these, the loss of cannon fodder around Level 4 is approximately over 3,400, and the remaining are high-tier troops above Level 5 but below Level 9.

These troops mainly consist of Ghosts and Skeleton Soldiers, with relatively fewer losses in the Zombie Corps.

Overall, the losses are not considered significant.

Because of Double Death in this battle, we gained nearly 170,000 newly converted undead on our side.

Among them, around 140,000 are undead below Level 4, more than 30,000 are between Level 5 and Level 7, and there are also more than 6,000 Level 8 and above undead troops.

There’s also a Level 19 Double-headed Bone Dragon.

For those below Level 4, we won’t count them; however, among those, there’s a batch without levels, but there are nearly 40,000 various undead of Level 5 and above that can be directly integrated into the team, which compensates for our previous losses.”

”What about bosses and heroes? Are there any new acquisitions?”

”276 Undead Bosses were added, no heroes, but the number of warriors was relatively high, with around 1,267, and there were also 51 elites.”

Eldest Princess Anna had been organizing the battle data all along.

Once Gu Xi inquired, she quickly responded.

”Well, we’ve really earned a lot this time. Go and integrate the newly joined undead into the various corps.”

”My lord, the Black Spear Camp and Bone-Slaying Camp didn’t suffer much loss in this battle. Although their levels have improved, the corps are already at full strength.

The Demon Sacrifice Camp isn’t at full strength, but it only needs Skeleton Mages; other troops can’t be supplemented.”

”Brave Fight is so stubborn, he’s been told he can’t always focus on Skeleton Mages, yet he won’t listen.”

Gu Xi felt a bit helpless about Brave Fight’s situation.

But the organization of Brave Fight’s Demon Sacrifice Camp was not formed by structures.

They also had their unique battle techniques.

Unlike the Bone-Slaying Camp and Black Spear Camp, which could be supplemented with troops anytime.

So now, with three formed camps under Gu Xi’s command, two are full, and one can’t be easily filled; there’s a surplus of troops without a clear arrangement.

”My lord, there’s a serious shortage of heroes. Relying only on bosses, our combat effectiveness will be quite limited, as already demonstrated in this battle.

The situation was manageable at first, but towards the end, Amirka was almost running back and forth across several districts.

Similar situations occurred with the other heroes.

The crucial issue is that we don’t have suitable heroes to guard Yalidu City in different periods.”

”Yes, the hero situation is indeed a pressing problem.”

Gu Xi also understood the severe lack of heroes, but where could he find a batch of heroes now?

Suddenly, Gu Xi thought of a situation; when he last checked on Di Mi’s side, apart from Liu Sheng, it seemed she had acquired two more heroes.

They should be new heroes obtained during Di Mi’s battles.

Should he ask Di Mi if there are any spare heroes to temporarily transfer over?

If there are, a new hero can at least support about three thousand troops.

No matter if for direct combat or district defense, they could be well utilized.

At this moment, Eldest Princess Anna said, ”My lord, why don’t we go to Westminster Cathedral first?

Anyway, Yalidu City still needs a few days for digestion; if we go there first, we might gain one or two new heroes.”

Hearing Eldest Princess Anna’s suggestion, Gu Xi couldn’t help but ask.

”Can we guarantee obtaining heroes?”

”That depends on luck, but it’s the fastest way to get heroes; after all, you won’t be focusing your energy on pioneering or new games for a while.

Besides, the chances of getting heroes in new games aren’t necessarily higher than those at Westminster Cathedral.”

Gu Xi thought it made sense.

The last time he obtained heroes was when pioneering a new game world.

He managed to acquire several new heroes there.

However, among these heroes, a few were snatched from other players.

So, this couldn’t be used as a common strategy.

Even though Di Mi also gained two heroes there, Gu Xi didn’t have the time to return now.

Instead, Westminster Cathedral, with Eldest Princess Anna’s word, could yield at least a new hero every four attempts.

If not, Gu Xi would have to try the Nine Stars Linked Pearls version of Eldest Princess Anna.

So, Gu Xi decisively said, ”Alright, then let’s go to Westminster Cathedral once. We currently have four opportunities to return there.

I plan to give it a straightforward attempt first, then a reverse one, use a session to complete various tasks, and try to discover any hidden elements on the last attempt.

Oh, I recall the reward over at Westminster Cathedral being a Purple Armor, is it handed out every time?”
