Yalidovitar, five crows on the guillotine were all staring at Gu Xi.

Eldest Princess Anna followed behind Gu Xi, pointing at these five crows, and said: ”Have you decided which period you want to fight? Just point to the crow.”

”Initially, only the paths to the Tudor Dynasty and York Dynasty were opened, so let’s start from the York Dynasty.”

Standing in front of the guillotine, Gu Xi said casually.

When Eldest Princess Anna arrived, she had already told Gu Xi about some historical periods of Britain.

The York Dynasty was established by the York family, with its most famous achievement being the Wars of the Roses launched against the Lancaster Dynasty, a branch of the Plantagenet Dynasty.

And in the Bloody Tower of Yalidovitar, the two children were Edward V of the York Dynasty and his brother, Duke of York Richard.

They died at the hands of their uncle, but at the time it was reported as missing, known as the Princes who disappeared in Yalidovitar.

Gu Xi chose the York Dynasty not only because the path was previously opened but also due to the tight connections among the York Dynasty, Lancaster Dynasty, and Plantagenet Dynasty.

Conquering Yalidu City from the York Dynasty period would definitely open these two pathways, enabling Gu Xi to fight along these paths without consuming the rewards from the Headless Queen.

In Gu Xi’s eyes, the rewards from the Headless Queen were beyond just these crows; they also included control over the paths to Yalidovitar across different periods.

As a crow flew up, Gu Xi sensed a new path appear outside Yalidu City.

However, Gu Xi didn’t lead his troops to set off directly but instead walked to the vicinity of the Bloody Tower and glanced at the two children in pajamas.

He’s met with the Headless Queen representing the Tudor Dynasty, so might the Princes representing the York Dynasty provide a different temporary quest?

But the two didn’t heed Gu Xi’s thoughts.

Seeing Gu Xi approach, they only nodded at him from the window of the tower and then retreated, disappearing behind the window.

Witnessing Gu Xi encounter this situation, Eldest Princess Anna hurried forward to persuade him: ”They simply don’t wish to interact with others, do not blame them, sir.”

”It’s alright, I just came to take a look, to see if there are any temporary quests to accept; if not, then forget it. I’ll leave matters on Yalidovitar to you.

Amirka, prepare the troops for departure.”

Under Gu Xi’s command, a large number of troops quickly gathered.

This time, as per Gu Xi’s orders, he would draw two-thirds of the Level 5 and above troops from the city, leaving one-third as guards for Yalidu City and Yalidov Tower.

Of course, Gu Xi took all the heroes and bosses along, since battles need direction, and Gu Xi must ensure his orders are smoothly communicated.

With Gu Xi’s command, a vast Undead Corps stepped out of Yalidovitar, heading onto the road outside Yalidovitar.

Upon setting foot on this path, Gu Xi noticed an obvious change; although the direction was previously toward Yalidovitar, the area looked completely different. In the distance, the sky over Yalidu City was shrouded in black fog, with countless monster birds transformed from Deceitful Shadows writhing in the sky.

Sitting on the Holy Silver Evil Coffin, Gu Xi raised his hand to release three Equipment Carriers.

Through the perspective of the Yellow Springs Dragon Robe and Spirit Lamp, Gu Xi clearly saw that, aside from the sky, the ground was also hiding numerous Deceitful Shadows.

”Mido.”

After confirming the situation here, Gu Xi decisively ordered: ”Clear the path to Yalidu City, directly head to the City Wall, your speed is the fastest, fight your way through.”

Upon hearing this, Mido promptly took on the task and charged forward with his troops.

Mido’s subordinates were largely Undead transformed alongside him, though there were some Mechanical Centipede units, albeit few.

After all, when Gu Xi went to fight in the Lower World last time, he released all the Undead Bosses, without initiating the Summoning immediately.

The actual number of Mechanical Centipedes obtained wasn’t large, only Mido had such a batch under his command.

During Gu Xi’s absence, Mido had been leading his men in various combat missions.

Scenarios like sewers and underground mazes were best suited to his combat style.

Once tasked, Mido promptly led his men to charge out.

Then Gu Xi commanded, ”Kaga, prepare for battle.”

Upon hearing, Kaga and Die Bone promptly readied themselves for combat; since returning to Yalidu City, Gu Xi had not mobilized them for combat.

Despite this, they learned of Di Mi’s incident in the city, using Di Mi as a counterexample.

Now Gu Xi’s heroes were all quite conscientious, striving to accomplish tasks to enhance themselves.

When no tasks were available, they trained the troops diligently, working in harmony with the troops.

Allowing the troops to familiarize themselves with their combat style.

This time, Kaga and Die Bone didn’t have to issue orders; their subordinates, the Undead Bosses, had already organized the troops.

At this moment, Gu Xi pointed to Mido’s troops who had already charged out, saying to Kaga, ”Did you see Mido’s team? They are attracting the enemy’s attention, though their movement speed is relatively fast.

When Mido passes by, Deceitful Shadows hidden underground will emerge.

Next, it’s up to you to handle all these deceitful shadows emerging from underground.

Fight your way to the City Wall.”

Kaga understood Gu Xi’s strategy immediately.

Gu Xi had taken a liking to the ability of his troops to attract firepower and counterattack defensively.

After Mido charged forward, enemies emerging from underground would certainly attack the stationary troops first.

Judging by their attack power, they would undoubtedly go full force initially.

Thus, the troops must withstand it at this moment, and even counterattack.

Among Gu Xi’s subordinates, only Kaga and Die Bone could achieve this.

Gu Xi, being exceedingly familiar with his heroes, naturally sent them out immediately.

After dispatching the three heroes, Gu Xi did not continuously send out troops.

Standing on the Holy Silver Evil Coffin, he glanced at the distant Yalidu City, then commanded his troops forward.

As Gu Xi planned, Mido’s speed exceeded the enemy’s expectations, with them rushing across the path, only for enemy troops to emerge from underground afterward.

Thus, Kaga and Die Bone led their troops, diving headlong into battle with those deceitful shadows.
