Boom! Boom! Boom!

Lightning kept falling continuously.

All the houses in this area were destroyed by lightning.

And the lightning here also caught the attention of the Deceitful Shadows in the next area.

Watching the Deceitful Shadows start to gather in the next area, Gu Xi calmly asked.

”Which district is this now?”

Then Gu Xi decisively issued a command to Brave Fight.

”Prepare Ritual Magic, Ice Storm, freeze them all for me.”

Under Gu Xi’s command, Brave Fight also prepared Ritual Magic, and farther in that area, the number of Shadowy Squad was obviously insufficient.

This time, only over eight thousand Deceitful Shadows rushed from other areas, their strength was not much different from the previous ones.

But they lacked the initial momentum.

They seemed more pieced together as Militia, having an intense aura when charging out, but their combat power was really not much.

On the contrary, their charging actions allowed Gu Xi’s subordinates to confirm the enemy’s origin.

Hence, Dali led the Skeleton Soldiers to the front line immediately, and Brave Fight also unleashed Ice Storm following Gu Xi’s orders.

After Brave Fight’s handling, the power of Ice Storm was significantly increased by five or six times, but the most important part wasn’t that; it now included the effect of freezing the ground and slowing enemies.

When this effect was enhanced, it greatly slowed down the Shadowy Squad’s speed.

The Skeleton Shooter Bosses at the rear, upon seeing this situation, didn’t need to wait for orders.

They were well prepared.

Seeing these enemies slow down, the Skeleton Shooters needed no orders; they started shooting on their own.

Some unleashed Rain of Arrows directly, some precisely aimed, some shot from close range, some utilized long-range advantages.

These Skeleton Shooters all looked like Skeleton Soldiers, and the bows and arrows in their hands were about the same, but due to the different situations guided by their Skeleton Shooter Bosses, the shooting effect was different in the end.

Under different shooting effects, some Deceitful Shadows could still rush forward a few steps, while others might be killed instantly upon emerging.

At this moment, Gu Xi was also not idle.

The Deceitful Shadows in front of him couldn’t please Gu Xi, neither in number nor in Luck, so he simply didn’t use the Death Luck Skill again.

Instead, he activated the Flame Storm Skill.

As Flame Storm launched, a large number of bone fragments carrying sparks appeared where the Deceitful Shadows were located.

These Deceitful Shadows were all at Militia Level, roughly between Level 4 and Level 6.

Their life force was long enough, but after the previous wave of Ice Storm and Rain of Arrows strikes, most of them were already severely wounded.

This time, as Flame Storm landed on their heads, they obviously felt the Nine Heavens of Ice and Fire sensation.

Under the joint strikes of Ice Storm and Flame Storm, the Deceitful Shadows’ bodies couldn’t withstand it for long, and soon, a large batch were smashed into pieces.

At this point, Brave Fight took another action.

After the various experiments last time, Brave Fight knew that some things were not suitable for his Ritual Magic.

Thus, in terms of Ritual Magic, he naturally changed his research direction immediately.

Now, besides the three Ritual Magics already determined, Brave Fight researched two new ones.

They were waiting to be tested on the battlefield.

When Gu Xi released Flame Storm, Brave Fight quickly shifted direction, exploring how to synergize other Ice Element spells besides Ice Storm.

Initially, the Magic Tower didn’t have appropriate magic for ritualization.

But with Gu Xi recently adding a Library and a Magic Academy, the Magic Tower naturally had more new magics for learning and researching.

The new magics here were all targeted at Heroes and Soldiers.

And what Brave Fight could turn into Ritual Magic were naturally those magics aimed at Soldiers.

Like the new Soldier Magic Brave Fight just learned from Gu Xi’s first Magic Tower.

Mana Distortion!

This spell was a newly emerged magic, its function quite simple, resembling Mana Extraction.

However, it targeted already formed enemy spells.

For instance, when the opposing Magic Corps used an Ice Storm.

Brave Fight could use Mana Distortion to prevent the Ice Storm from forming.

Alternatively, if the enemy was preparing to cast a Fireball Skill, this Fireball already flew out, Mana Distortion could sabotage the Fireball’s effect, directly causing it to explode prematurely before it reached its target.

And after Brave Fight’s Ritual Magic, the effect of Mana Distortion would be stronger.

If previously Mana Distortion only prevented spells from forming, then after the Magic Ceremony, Mana Distortion was focused on the enemy’s magic effects.

As for whether it could seize successfully, and what it would turn into after being seized, Brave Fight didn’t consider.

And at this time, Brave Fight used this move entirely because he observed the situation of the Deceitful Shadows.

Brave Fight felt these Deceitful Shadows resembled a combination of Deceitful Shadow Elemental Body formed through magic.

Therefore, using this spell aimed to disrupt the Deceitful Shadows from a magical aspect.

Brave Fight’s move was indeed successful.

As Mana Distortion landed on these Deceitful Shadows, those who could still fight exploded instantly.

However, next Gu Xi noticed that due to this Mana Distortion, things seemed to become strange.

These Deceitful Shadows seemed to have activated some switch, reassembling together.

Moreover, their size was growing larger, almost transforming into a huge beast.

Gu Xi immediately commanded Death Incarnation-Titan.

”One more wave of lightning and then retreat.”

Death Incarnation-Titan decisively launched a wave of lightning strikes, along with the Bone Titan behind participating in the lightning strikes.

Using lightning strikes to disperse the gathered Deceitful Shadows, Gu Xi decisively released all kinds of locusts.

Bone Locust, Evil Bone Locust, and the newly appeared bizarre locusts all immediately pounced on the dispersed Deceitful Shadows.

As these locusts swarmed out, Gu Xi turned to Brave Fight.

”The effect of this Magic Ceremony is good, but be more cautious next time.”

Brave Fight felt a bit awkward, he hadn’t expected this outcome.

Fortunately, Gu Xi didn’t intend to blame Brave Fight.

Even though Brave Fight made a mistake this time, as Gu Xi said, the Magic Ceremony effect was quite good, just misapplied.

If used in magical battles, Mana Distortion is indeed a formidable skill.

Thus, Gu Xi reminded again.

”If you can somehow stabilize Mana Distortion, that would be ideal.”

Brave Fight’s eyes lit up, ”Like a Magic-Banning Ball?”
