Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 827: Chapter 825: Seizing Most of the City

Double-headed Bone Dragon, Bone Cavalry, Ghost Warrior...

Looking at the Undead Corps transformed through Double Death, Gu Xi was satisfied. If it weren’t for being relatively far from Amirka, Gu Xi would have considered sending the Bone Cavalry over to Amirka.

At the same time, Gu Xi calculated the number of these Undead, and his mind gained some clarity.

Although the troops and heroes were divided out, as long as Gu Xi was in Yalidu City during this period, all this counted as the battle result under Gu Xi’s command.

The determination of Double Death isn’t about whether Gu Xi watched the enemy die, but rather what position Gu Xi holds in this battle.

Clearly, this battle of Yalidu City belongs to a fight that Gu Xi can guide.

Therefore, the final tally of all the war dead falls on Gu Xi.

As a result, Gu Xi’s earnings this time were considerably high.

At least fifteen thousand Undead Corps above Level 5, including over three thousand above Level 8.

Additionally, there are still several similar battles coming up. Under such battles, it’s expected that the elite troops under Gu Xi will increase even more.

As the Double-headed Bone Dragon landed beside Gu Xi, the expression on the Bone Titan who had been guarding Gu Xi changed slightly.

Gu Xi did not know how a Skull could have so many expressions.

But it was obvious that the Bone Titan was quite displeased with the increasing number and strength of the Undead Dragon Corps under Gu Xi.

He seemed to be considering where to find suitable High-Level Titan corpses to bring back.

The minimum Level required for Titans was Level 13 or higher; otherwise, they would be overshadowed by those Ghost Dragons transformed from the Earth Vein.

Gu Xi wasn’t aware that his subordinates were pondering so much. The arrival of this corps was timely. Although there wasn’t a Hero leading, within the corps, there was a batch of new Undead Bosses.

With the emergence of these Undead Corps, Gu Xi could finally breathe a sigh of relief. He divided some forces out, arranging them under Kaga and Die Bone, while the remaining Undead Corps were stationed in the occupied urban areas.

With the Bosses’ command, although the strategic flexibility in battle wouldn’t be high, using them to defend a zone was achievable.

Gu Xi didn’t have high demands; as long as they could hold the current zone, that would suffice.

As for other matters, they weren’t crucial to Gu Xi.

For advancing battles, weren’t there still Heroes under Gu Xi’s command?

With the newly joined corps, Gu Xi could fully arrange each urban area, then consider other matters later.

Thinking of this, Gu Xi spoke to Kaga and Die Bone: ”You guys head out first, I’ll arrange things here.”

Kaga and Die Bone, seeing that Gu Xi had brought such a large number of troops, knew Gu Xi’s safety wasn’t an issue, so they promptly led their corps into the next urban area.

At this moment, Gu Xi also quickly wrote to Amirka and Mido, asking them to come to his current location.

After the Owl was released, Amirka came over immediately.

”Sir, I’ve reached the city’s end, pushing back, I’m...”

Gu Xi halted Amirka’s speech, ”Wait a moment, let’s talk when Mido arrives.”

Amirka immediately closed his mouth, but his attention quickly focused on the eight hundred Bone Cavalry.

The level of these Bone Cavalry wasn’t high, but they were, after all, cavalry.

Following this battle, the useful Cyan Knights, the still growing Pale Knights, and the White Robed Iron Cavalry with Luck were all to be reassigned by Gu Xi.

His cavalry corps was going to diminish again.

The Bone Cavalry here was just a supplement. Should he ask Gu Xi about allocating these Bone Cavalry under his command?

Just then, Mido arrived with his men.

Upon meeting Mido, Gu Xi spoke directly to him.

”Mido, you’re just in time, Amirka is here too. Draw the map to confirm how many districts of Yalidu City in this era haven’t been occupied, and check if there are any gaps in defense along the way.”

This task wasn’t difficult for Mido.

Upon Gu Xi’s request, he quickly drew up the map and route.

It included districts not yet taken.

”Sir, this is the situation now. Don’t worry, my drawing won’t be incorrect, except perhaps for the size divisions of some districts. Everything else is accurate.”

According to Mido’s map, in this era, Yalidu City had twenty-one districts of varying sizes, which included the recently seized Lettuce Duchy.

Gu Xi and his team occupied sixteen districts, with four districts still in combat.

Among them, one district hadn’t even started battling.

”So, is it nearly over?”

Gu Xi felt like his actions this time seemed excessive.

With only four districts still engaged in battle, why draw a map; just dispatch the Undead Corps to fight immediately.

Gu Xi had initially thought there were at least half of the territories still to be conquered.

It turned out he had worried too much.

Given the current situation, he didn’t need to wait for Mido’s arrival; he could lead the corps himself to sweep away the rest.

However, the arrangements had been made, so it was settled.

”Mido, did you see these Undead under my command? You’re quick-moving, take them to the various districts to ensure we don’t end up being raided last.

Gu Xi gestured, and all the newly arrived Undead were scheduled to be dispatched.

At this point, Amirka stepped forward.

”Sir, could I have the Bone Cavalry?”

Gu Xi glanced at Amirka, understanding his desire to preserve these Bone Cavalry long-term.

Gu Xi shook his head in the end, ”I’ll give you a chance to choose suitable corpses and Essence Blood next time. These Bone Cavalry, once the battle ends, can be sent to the Pale Temple for transformation into Pale Knights.”

Amirka, looking back at the Pale Knights behind him, recognized that these Bone Cavalry were indeed the best material for transformation into Pale Knights.

Amirka felt a bit regretful; had he known, he wouldn’t have been so rushed.

The rush for the Scarlet Temple was quick, but Scarlet Temple’s troop source was relatively small.

Now there were just over two hundred people, unlike the Azure Temple which provided over a thousand at the start.

Even the recently established Pale Temple had eight hundred-strong reinforcements.

This left him dissatisfied.

So, Amirka looked at Gu Xi somewhat unwillingly.

”Sir, I...”
