Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 801: Chapter 799: Grass Returning Pill Garden

Three experts from Pei Xin Agricultural University explained so much to Gu Xi that Gu Xi naturally had some judgment.

Although there are still some details that need to be studied, looking at the current situation, it shouldn’t be a problem to designate an area in Yalidu City for planting six thousand Grass Returning Pill plants.

This already meets Gu Xi’s minimum standards.

There is naturally no problem on Gu Xi’s side.

So, with Gu Xi nodding in agreement, the three of them quickly took action.

Various experts such as Druids and Spirit Plant Masters quickly rushed over.

As for the seed, it was taken by the principal to the technology experiment building for cultivation and seedling separation.

All this has nothing to do with Gu Xi, after all, Gu Xi is an Undead Mage, and even if these experts are willing to take Gu Xi, he wouldn’t be able to play around with these tasks.

Because separating the seedlings and conducting various research would take some time.

To prevent Gu Xi from interrupting, Liu Zengqiang simply found someone to take Gu Xi on a tour of the school, to appease him first.

As for how long he can stall, even Liu Zengqiang is unsure.

He simply asked his subordinates to stall Gu Xi for a month as a standard.

In any case, they’d first arrange for Gu Xi, giving him library borrowing rights, the freedom to attend lectures in large classrooms, permission to consume special ingredients in the cafeteria, and even assign study companions, all arranged.

They have to ensure that the first batch of seedlings is cultivated and their testing is completed.

It’s even better if they can finish planting the first batch of fruit trees and determine the effects of the fruit.

Handling such matters is no big deal for the professors at Pei Xin Agricultural University, whether they are Druids or Spirit Plant Masters, they all have the ability to make plants grow rapidly.

They have done these things before, compressing a year’s growth into a few hours, it’s not something they haven’t done before.

Although in doing so, the level of the fruit might be slightly reduced, it can still be seen whether the fruit tree has research value.

Gu Xi isn’t aware of their intentions, only knowing that they are willing to let him roam around this agricultural school, freely use the library, and seek some professor guidance.

Gu Xi has many things to learn, in Yalidu City, the Magic Plant District needs to be organized.

If this time’s experiment succeeds, Grass Returning Pill will be designated its own area, and such knowledge will be needed then.

Gu Xi also has many farms on hand.

Besides, the Blood Maple Tree seems to have the potential to be promoted.

Gu Xi also brought back a lot of herbs.

All of these are things Gu Xi needs to learn.

If it were normal times, Gu Xi, not being a Druid or Spirit Plant Master, couldn’t possibly study at Pei Xin Agricultural University.

Now, with such a great opportunity, Gu Xi naturally couldn’t bear to leave.

There’s definitely no issue of study companions disrupting here.

Gu Xi found himself back to the state when he was learning in Chaoyang Radiance Guild.

Every day he was either attending classes or reading in the library.

With professional guidance and having ample time to study, Gu Xi laid the foundation in Spirit Plants in just a few days.

His Botany unknowingly leveled up to Level 4, and Herbalism leveled up to Level 5.

Additionally, he learned Soil Science and Earth Vein Science, some abilities of Earth Masters, but since these subjects were fragmented and not the main directions of study at the Agricultural University, they never formed corresponding levels.

However, Gu Xi made many notebooks, planning to study them slowly when he returns, they would be useful someday.

As for the matter of study companions, Gu Xi had to admit they were useful.

After all, in such an unfamiliar place, someone needs to arrange where Gu Xi eats and rests.

They indeed helped Gu Xi a lot.

Sometimes, when Gu Xi was busy reading and felt hungry, he only needed to say a word, and they would bring meals to him.

This lifestyle continued for twenty-three days.

On this day, as Gu Xi just got up, ready to go to class, he was stopped by Li Wei.

”Brother, it’s ready.”

”Results are out?”

”Yes, this matter can’t be explained right now, let’s go to the principal’s laboratory.”

Upon hearing, Gu Xi couldn’t bother with anything else and followed Li Wei.

After walking some distance, Li Wei looked at Gu Xi with surprise.

”Brother, you’ve got quite a physical strength.”

”My Fitness Skill is at Level 9,”

Gu Xi said proudly.

Upon hearing this, Li Wei’s expression changed slightly, ”No wonder, but you’re just an Undead Mage, what do you need a high Fitness Skill for?”

”I took too many supplements,”

Gu Xi didn’t want to say that his Fitness Skill wasn’t self-trained, he just casually gave an explanation.

”Alright, seems like you’re quite lucky, no wonder you got this ancient formula.

I’ve heard, your ancient formula is quite impressive this time, many idle professors want to join the research team for this formula.

If they can research anything from it, it would be a boost to strength.”

”Oh, how is the situation now?”

Li Wei was momentarily unable to answer Gu Xi’s question.

But one thing is certain, the matters Gu Xi previously requested have been accomplished.

After crossing a few hilltops, Gu Xi followed Li Wei into an underground laboratory.

As the laboratory door opened, Gu Xi was stunned by what he saw.

This lab had hollowed out a hilltop, creating an ecosystem inside.

Principal Liu Zengqiang stood on a patch of open ground, with five fruit trees over two meters tall in front of him.

These fruit trees were full of fruit, not too large, resembling the heads of infants.

However, for some reason, the colors of these fruits varied, displaying five element colors, but none of the primary colors.

Instead, they were pink, tender yellow, and powder white type colors.

Gu Xi took a closer look; there were thirty fruits on each tree.

Seeing Gu Xi approaching, Liu Zengqiang smiled and said, ”Brother, your seed allowed us to cultivate altogether fourteen thousand three hundred first-generation seedlings.

We experimented with seven seedlings, one disregarding the five elements, five as separate elements, and one as all five elements planted.

The one without any element did not survive, it died directly.

With all five elements, the growth speed was quite slow, even using all possible methods, it didn’t grow rapidly.

Only separate element planting accelerated growth, we compared some experimental results.

We found different blessings affected the function of the fruit, here’s the experimental data, have a look first.”
