Got it!

With this message popping up, Gu Xi knew that Yalidu City from the York Dynasty era had been taken down.

”Notify Luna and Eldest Princess Anna to come over and take over this city.”

Following Gu Xi’s order, Luna was the first to arrive here.

Meanwhile, Eldest Princess Anna was preparing to activate Yaliduvi Tower and had yet to come here.

However, she promised that she would come as soon as Yaliduvi Tower was shut down.

After entering Yalidu City, Luna did not immediately go to the Assembly Hall of this era.

Instead, she met Jiben.

Seeing such a creature like Jiben, Luna was surprised. She didn’t expect Yalidu City of this era to have these kinds of Little Elves.

At that moment, Gu Xi also arrived. He hadn’t yet had the time to take a closer look at the newly occupied area.

Upon seeing Luna, Gu Xi took out the map drawn by Mido.

”Luna, this is the map of Yalidu City of this era. Take a look at how you want to arrange it.”

As Luna took the map, she glanced at it. With her approach to city management, she quickly divided the city in front of her into fifteen zones.

In Luna’s eyes, the current Yalidu City had too many redundant or fragmented areas.

Many of the houses might as well be demolished for reorganization.

Putting the map down, Luna glanced at Gu Xi.

”Sir, what’s with those Little Elves? Are you planning to relocate the Magic Plant District here?”

”Not necessarily. If the land in front of us is suitable for planting, we’ll move the Magic Plant District here. If it’s not suitable, we have other options.”

Gu Xi did not hold the view that the current Yalidu City must be made into the Magic Plant District. His idea was to first capture Yalidu City and see what it can be used for before making other considerations.

When Gu Xi said this, his gaze turned to Jiben.

Upon hearing this, Jiben knew it was related to him and hurriedly flew to Gu Xi’s side.

”Sir, we’ve just checked. The ground of the city ahead is mostly paved with stone slabs and has a sewer system. If we want to plant various trees in this area, many urban areas need to be demolished, and we need to divert river water here.

Water supply is what we need to ensure.”

Jiben quickly drew out the situation he had observed on the map.

”Within this city, the most suitable places for planting trees are these locations, but each has certain defects. We need to correct these flaws before we can plant.”

”If you proceed with adjustments, I’ll fully coordinate. Approximately how long would it take for you to turn this area into a zone suitable for planting large quantities of plants?”

”That depends on the situation. Just demolishing the city ahead is a major project, and we also need to fill soil and dig channels.

These can be quickly handled using the Undead. But according to our plan, we want to use spells on every inch of land, which will take quite a long time.”

Jiben himself couldn’t estimate the time required for transforming the current Yalidu City.

And Gu Xi was concerned about another issue at that moment.

”Do we need to use any spells or do you need me to arrange manpower to help?”

”It’s about eliminating the strange power in the land. This power affects the plants to be grown. It might be fine for ordinary fields, but for trees, especially fruit trees with special effects, the impact of this power would be significant.”

With Jiben’s explanation, Gu Xi asked another question.

”Does the land outside the city need to be handled this way? I mean, using spells.”

Gu Xi raised a new question.

Jiben shook his head, ”Outside the city, it’s not as troublesome, but it has its own challenges. The defensive systems outside are quite incomplete, and there’s the possibility of enemy attacks at any time.

If it’s just farmland that’s fine, but if orchards are attacked, we might work for wasted years.”

Listening to Jiben’s reply, Gu Xi glanced at Luna.

There was a strong understanding between Luna and Gu Xi. She immediately understood what Gu Xi was thinking.

”Those selected locations that can truly be converted into fields for planting or sites suitable for growing trees are scarce, which indicates a large investment with limited returns.

If you’d like to treat this place as the Magic Plant District, I can arrange it, but personally, I don’t recommend this.”

Gu Xi didn’t respond verbally and simply sat down on the ground.

He pondered about the remaining five cities in Yalidu City.

Having conquered Yalidu of the York Dynasty era, Gu Xi now has some judgments.

Eldest Princess Anna had previously mentioned that both the York Dynasty and Lancaster Dynasty were branches of the Plantagenet Dynasty. Most importantly, the time frame among these three dynasties wasn’t very long.

Gu Xi guessed that the three eras of Yalidu City might differ little in layout.

At most, the cities of the Plantagenet Dynasty might be slightly smaller.

However, the general layout shouldn’t vary significantly.

As for the Normandy Dynasty that came before, it was the limit for Britain—beyond that was the era of King Arthur-like mythological legends.

No matter how Victoria City boasts, it couldn’t stretch back to that age.

Haven’t we seen how they glorify the burial sites of Round Table Knights in Victoria City?

Thus, the Normandy Dynasty was almost the pinnacle for Victoria.

Excluding the main city of Yalidu, perhaps the buildings here are minimal and most primitive.

After all, the kings of this era were something like Conquerors, Red-faced Kings, and such.

Just by hearing these names, one can surmise the kind of environment they existed in.

Moreover, there’s another matter. Originally, the British throne was supposed to be inherited by Harold after Edward’s death.

Nonetheless, he was utterly incompetent, ultimately killed and turned into a Death Knight, beginning the tradition where a part of the British Royal Family followed the path of the Undead.

If the Yalidu City of the York Dynasty era is unsuitable for growing various plants, then pushing two eras upwards might also be infeasible.

Only the Yalidu City of the Normandy Dynasty has a tiny bit of possibility.

Gu Xi seriously considered for a moment and decisively said, ”Luna, look at the arrangement for the York Dynasty. Either the Industrial Zone or Market District should be organized, and we’ll set up another zone after taking the Lancaster Dynasty or Plantagenet Dynasty.

As for the Magic Plant District, we’ll head upstream and capture Yalidu City’s Normandy Dynasty.”

Luna nodded, ”I’ll handle it. I need to assess how to structure this place best.”

”That’s fine, no rush. We’ve just taken Yalidu City, and there are many things to handle. We have time.”
