”No, no, it hasn’t come to that yet.”

Gu Xi was well aware of the situation with the Magic-Banning Ball, which is something that makes all magic unusable within its range.

That is definitely something that harms both the enemy and oneself, with qualities ranging from blue to orange.

As for the range of influence, it can vary greatly.

But in any case, this Mana Distortion is not the idea behind the Magic-Banning Ball.

And only those players strictly on the physical side would think of carrying a Magic-Banning Ball.

Most players would not take this path.

After all, among players, who doesn’t have a Magic Book or something similar?

The magic of the Magic-Banning Ball doesn’t discriminate between allies and enemies.

On the contrary, the current Mana Distortion can differentiate between our own people and the enemy.

So when Brave Fight suggested simulating the Magic-Banning Ball with Ritual Magic, Gu Xi directly stopped him.

If they really used a Magic-Banning Ball, many of Gu Xi’s methods would be rendered useless.

At the very least, his spells and such would be unusable.

”I meant making the Mana Distortion fixed, forming something like a Mana Distortion Force Field or Defense Shield.

This way, when the enemy’s spells come over, they just disappear midway, instead of using Forbidden Magic, you understand?”

Being able to research Ritual Magic, Brave Fight was naturally a smart person, and as he listened, he immediately understood what Gu Xi meant.

Brave Fight thought about it, this actually wasn’t difficult, it was just a matter of turning a short-term ritual into a long-term one, and fixing this magic in place.

This kind of thing would at most require a few more steps of research, but it wasn’t considered difficult.

So Brave Fight agreed.

As for this side’s Deceitful Shadow, Brave Fight really didn’t use Mana Distortion again.

And at this time, the Deceitful Shadows, twisted together, were bitten to death by various locusts.

Especially those eerie locusts, each of them had a combat power equivalent to ordinary soldiers above level 6.

A swarm of eerie locusts numbered in the thousands, and there wasn’t just one swarm here. All the locusts pounced on the Deceitful Shadows, and as soon as they were bitten once, a single Deceitful Shadow was directly gone.

Then the locusts would pounce on another Deceitful Shadow, and after once or twice like this, these Deceitful Shadows were bitten into pieces and disappeared in front of Gu Xi.

After killing all the Deceitful Shadows here, Gu Xi immediately pointed forward.

”Advance the army, Lewis, follow up and occupy the district ahead.”

After speaking, Gu Xi himself led the troops forward.

When entering the next district, Gu Xi knew that this time they had reached the edge of Yalidov City.

Further west, there were no new districts, a city gate stood tall there, and once out of this gate, it was the outskirts of Yalidov City.

It seemed that during this period, Yalidov City was about this large.

Now that they had reached the limit here, they needed to shift direction and continue down another path.

Looking at the city gate in front of him, Gu Xi thought for a moment, then turned to issue an order.

”Dali, you guard this city gate, if there are any enemy invasions from outside the city, you’ll deal with them.”

After saying this, Gu Xi led the troops to another direction to advance.

However, Gu Xi was also sighing in his heart at this moment, that it was truly not easy to capture a city.

Occupying a district required splitting off a portion of the troops. If they didn’t defend it, there was no telling when someone might sneak in and take the city.

Looking at the road leading to other districts, Gu Xi thought for a moment, raised his hand, and released an owl.

This was Gu Xi contacting the rear.

In this battle, Gu Xi had participated throughout, the effect of Double Death should exist, so he thought the fallen Deceitful Shadows should have transformed into a batch of Undead Corps.

Now there was a gap in troop strength, it was just the right time to bring these Undead Corps over.

This matter was better arranged by Luna and Eldest Princess Anna.

After writing down his request, Gu Xi swiftly headed toward the next district.

As Gu Xi advanced, Mido also hurried over.

One had to admit that Mido’s Pathfinding Skill was quite impressive, any maze or the like was not an issue in his eyes.

He could always accurately find every point in the maze.

This time was no different, upon discovering something unusual, he reached Gu Xi as soon as possible.

”My lord.”

While commanding the troops toward the next district, Gu Xi was slightly stunned upon seeing Mido suddenly arrive.

”What’s wrong? Did you find that hidden area?”

”I’ve already found it, here’s the map. But, my lord, you best go take a look yourself. I feel if we wait until we’ve captured the current Yalidov City and then return, the buildings there might be gone.”

Upon hearing this, Gu Xi also understood what was going on.

He glanced at the current situation, pointed to Brave Fight, and said, ”Brave Fight, continue the attack, Mido, stay here and cooperate with Brave Fight; defeat the Deceitful Shadows, and let Lewis handle occupying the district.”

Mido turned back to look at Lewis standing far away and understood some of the situation in his heart.

”My lord, don’t you need me to accompany you over there?”

”No need, now there’s a shortage of troops from all sides, most importantly, a shortage of heroes. I’ll go alone, you stay here and take down the other districts first.”

Gu Xi was actually still concerned about the current occupation of Yalidov City.

If it weren’t for Mido discovering a hidden district, given Mido’s situation, he would have been most suitable to patrol Yalidov City and see if they had missed any districts.

But now something wasn’t quite right, Gu Xi didn’t have many heroes available.

Moreover, he planned to go to the hidden district and see why there were separate plots of large, medium, and small land carved out here.

Now Mido couldn’t even accompany Gu Xi to take a look.

After giving the order, Gu Xi took the relatively simple map from Mido, and with his most important subordinates, headed toward the hidden district.

After Gu Xi left, Mido then turned to Brave Fight.

”Brother, how are we going to fight next?”

”As the lord says, advance zone by zone.

Our task is very simple, to clear all the Deceitful Shadows; occupying the district is Lewis’s responsibility.”

Brave Fight had a relatively good relationship with Lewis, so he spoke quite politely.

Mido also looked back at Lewis, didn’t say much because of Brave Fight.

So the two men followed Gu Xi’s plan and swiftly went to the next district.

At this moment, Gu Xi, riding in the Holy Silver Evil Coffin, had also bypassed many detours and quickly arrived near the hidden area discovered by Mido.

Standing at the entrance of this hidden area, Gu Xi finally understood why Mido was so sure that only he could find it.

This small path in front of him, without being told, no one would believe that the path was made in someone else’s backyard.
