Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 980: Chapter 86: Immortal Energy Star

The evolution of the Biological Computer in version 7.0 was a great surprise for Gao Gong.

He had quite a few trump card moves, such as Fusion Mode, Fiery Sun Long Halberd, Planet-level Mechanical Transformation, Cyber Tide, and so on, but these moves were either limited to three seconds, unusable, or forbidden.

There weren’t many that could be used openly.

However, the ’Flesh Celestial King’ looked quite heretical, incorporating billions of organisms into one, yet it was a legitimate ’major biological route.’

Many Carbon-Based Civilizations ascended by creating giant biological eggs, encapsulating planets, and even entire star systems, thereby achieving genetic leaps, updating, and upgrading species.

This method, which contains a trace of ’Power of Flesh Ascension,’ might even garner some goodwill if shown to an ascension species from the Biological Stream.

’If the Biological Computer breaks through to version 9.0, its computational power could support planet-level ecological evolution and might serve as ascension architecture for ’Flesh Ascension’ with high probability.’

Civilization Architecture is the core of the Civilization Technology Tree.

Ascension Architecture is even rarer, a necessity to support Civilization Ascension.

In general, the more Ascension Architecture built, the greater the probability of ascension.

As a supercomputer comparable to a Planet Computer, the Biological Computer is, in terms of rank, Tier 3 Top-level, capable of serving as basic infrastructure for ’Flesh Ascension.’

’If I run into a civilization on the Flesh Ascension path, I could be a distinguished guest,’ Gao Gong thought happily.

Unfortunately, he hadn’t encountered such a civilization, at least not in the Robert Star System.

The few major civilizations in the Robert Star System all follow the Mechanical Stream.

...

”You entered the Alpha Wisdom Circle!?”

Even with Lolita’s electronic logic, facing this fact, she was utterly incredulous.

It’s known that back then, the Elder Council of the Alphaman received the prophecy of the ’Host Rebellion’ from the ’Alpha Wisdom Circle,’ leading to her suppression.

Even the most talented few of the Red Pillar Royal Family, who practiced Mental Skills and developed their Brain Domain, took at least 100 years to enter the ’Alpha Wisdom Circle.’

It’s said to be a ’Species Guiding Nation’ sea of thoughts, where seeking an answer would be blessed by the wisdom of all Alphaman.

How did he do it without Alpha bloodline, and in just a few days!?

Gao Gong smiled, pointed to his temple with a finger, and gently pulled out a crimson silk thread, which seemed to contain some wisdom, instantly catching one’s eye.

”Alpha Information!”

Lolita quickly recognized it.

Alpha Information: A thread of thought containing wisdom, while wound around you, your Intelligence +50 (temporary), Consciousness +100 (temporary).

This is a rare intelligence auxiliary skill, especially useful for scientists.

The other two skills, ’Brain Domain Enhancement’ and ’Red Pillar Sensing,’ are similar abilities.

Brain Domain Enhancement: Temporarily enhances a designated brain region, thinking ability +40%.

Red Pillar Sensing: Observing the cosmic phenomena at night, gaining inspiration from the Annihilation of the nebula.

’These are all skills with a research-oriented nature.’

Unfortunately, Gao Gong wasn’t into scientific research; he just liked forcefully unlocking blueprints.

Suddenly, Lolita thought of something, her expression changing, and said:

”The Alphaman will soon know that someone has entered the ’Thought Circle’!”

”They found out so quickly?” Gao Gong exclaimed in surprise.

”The Elder Council of the Alphaman possesses equipment that constantly communicates with the ’Thought Circle,’ but the information on this equipment isn’t stored in my host system.”

Seeing Lolita’s look of concern, Gao Gong comforted her a bit before sending her off.

Although there was no suspicion on her for now, inducing some urgency in this Planet Host isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

...

Besides Mechanical Split Star, there are three more abandoned Cyber Test Fields in the Robert Star System.

One is on a habitable planet, another on a toxic planet, and another on a cold planet.

These three planets are called ’Blue Forest Star,’ ’Immortal Energy Star,’ and ’Ice Planet,’ respectively.

’Blue Forest Star’ is the furthest, already outside the range of the First Stellar Vortex, while ’Ice Planet’ is the closest though it has the fewest players, and ’Immortal Energy Star’ is right in the middle, with planetary scale and player numbers similar to Mechanical Split Star, even sharing a similar ecological environment, except it’s not a Radiation Planet but a Virus Planet.

On this planet, basically, everyone carries a virus. Once the virus level in the body exceeds a certain limits, they mutate into zombies, making it another Zombie Planet with at least 1 billion zombies. Players have a survival game theme, either killing zombies or becoming one, with no other way out, only the 1,000 ’Safe Cities’ provide basic security for safe login and logout.

However, half a year ago, when the ’Safe Cities’ mysteriously vanished, players were shocked to find they no longer had a place to log out.

Logging out directly, with air viruses unfiltered, turns one instantly into a zombie, rendering the account useless.

The original high-difficulty planet suddenly escalated to Hell Mode.

Fortunately, the wisdom of the 4th Celestial Calamity wasn’t in vain. Without guns or artillery, they lit up the industrial tree, built lathes, rifled barrels, made equipment, and without air filtration devices, they invented ’Zombie Suits,’ utilizing the lack of needs for food and waste management to achieve 100% self-circulation. Some warriors even attempted to play big and began building cities, evolving systems management into player autonomy.

What these players didn’t know was that high above the virus atmosphere, a silver-white starship was emerging from a space ripple, slowly transitioning space rules into physical rules, shifting from transparent to a massive object floating in space.

Meanwhile, on the deck of the Star Destroyer, two hundred pioneering explorers were already in position: a hundred Biological System players and a hundred from the Mechanical Stream.

”Wow, they opened a new map again.”

”Watch me, an interstellar citizen, return to Planet Village.”

”Did you post on the Immortal Energy Star forum?”

”I did, but the moderator banned me.”

”Just as well, I was looking for a chance to show off!”

”Hey, remember what our task is: to gather intelligence, conduct biological research, perform geographic soil detection, and collect gas, not to start fights!”

Said a few squad leaders, warning them, fearing the overly enthusiastic comrades would go out of control.

If it were them, they would probably do the same.

Soon, beams of traction light came down, and the players’ figures disappeared instantly.

...

”Why choose this planet?” Inside the Star Destroyer, Ye the Big Lolita looked at Gao Gong curiously.

Gao Gong quietly gazed at the yellowish planet through a space window. A rocky planet with over 79% landmass where rich biological toxins were spreading. This did not ’kill’ the planet’s ecology but, instead, contributed to an eerie prosperity, almost as if Gaia’s Will could be faintly felt.

This was something even a Radiation Planet couldn’t achieve.

”This star system has four experiment sites of advanced civilizations, each with different studies. I learned about this planet’s research content from the Purple Giant Star. I found it very intriguing, perfectly matching my family’s ancestral hall...”
