Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 964: Chapter 70: Ape Planet Tribe

”Hey buddy, what are you up to?”

”Going to the dock (starship port) to move bricks, what about you?”

”Picked up a job in the task hall, looking for a lost Devouring Elemental Beast bloodline cat pet.”

”Hehe, I took on an Easter egg task, acting as a tour guide for someone.”

In the planet’s black market, the players brought by Gao Gong unusually enjoyed tasks with normal game difficulty—running maps, moving bricks, doing odd jobs, finding lost alien pets.

This made the players in the newbie village, who died eight times in a delivery task, shed a bitter tear. The difficulty adjustment in the game is a bit too late.

Although everyone’s levels are high, with many already surpassing level 50 and moving towards the max level of 60, they still enjoy taking on such small tasks.

There’s a joy in a full-level pro returning to the newbie village to fish.

I am a Big Muscle Dominator squatted at the edge of the black market, looking troubled.

The only high-difficulty task recently was probably the interstellar terrorist organization called ’Liberation Association’ invasion.

During this task, I am a Big Muscle Dominator proactively used his not-yet-fully-mastered ’Cyberpsychosis Armament’, and in a dazed state, unintentionally saved a female NPC.

And then this female NPC stuck to me.

The passing players teased Big Muscle Dominator a lot.

”Yo, isn’t this our prince consort? Aren’t you supposed to be with your little princess?”

”When’s the prince consort planning to do the ’Rise of the Planet of the Apes’ storyline, don’t forget to help a brother out then.”

”From the perspective of interstellar society, we carbon-based hairless apes and carbon-based gorillas are the same kind, even our XP is similar, you don’t even need to undergo form transformation to get married, I think you should go for it.”

I am a Big Muscle Dominator rolled his eyes and gave the Red Flower Demon a big middle finger from afar.

”Damn, you’re really freeloading!” Red Flower Demon exclaimed.

I am a Big Muscle Dominator couldn’t really refute that. Originally, his stupidly big and clumsy gorilla arm had been modified into something akin to Winter Soldier’s metal arm, with greatly enhanced attributes, even upgrading from Tier 2 - Advanced to Tier 2 - Rare.

Don’t underestimate this rank increase.

The system’s evaluation of ’Advanced’ is ’War Weapon’.

But the system’s evaluation of ’Rare’ is ’Strategic Weapons’.

No exaggeration to say, with the upgraded ’Ape King’s Arm’, against those Liberation Association members, he could take down a squad of terrorists all by himself.

So although he seriously rejected the female gorilla’s romantic advances, when she offered to upgrade his equipment as an appeasement, he shamefully accepted.

Am I really going to be a scumbag, and the target being a female gorilla?

As a tough straight man, I am a Big Muscle Dominator felt quite troubled these past few days.

”Heard you’ve recently hooked up with a rich lady?” A teasing voice sounded.

”Which bastard said... Damn, boss!!”

Seeing the camp leader in front of him, I am a Big Muscle Dominator was dumbfounded.

Gao Gong looked at the other’s bulging bio-muscles and their rough-waisted, wide-shouldered, curvaceous figure, nodding in satisfaction.

Good material for a gigolo!

I am a Big Muscle Dominator was not unfamiliar with Gao Gong. In fact, he was among the first players who got in contact with ’General G’. Of course, back then, General G was still known as Mr. G, a prosthetic doctor in Nightless City, living in an urban village, accompanying a pale-skinned sister.

But the NPC’s subsequent development was beyond all players’ expectations, forming a consensus among them—this is a long-running protagonist NPC.

”Boss, what’s up?” I am a Big Muscle Dominator asked, puzzled.

”Nothing, just came to check up on you,” Gao Gong replied with a smile.

He naturally recognized the other.

But honestly, despite knowing each other early on, the other party didn’t gain much benefit through him.

The other wasn’t Rainy Night with a Knife and No Umbrella, who gained nurturing through hardcore gameplay skills.

Nor was he like Baozi, playing a versatile role to become Gao Gong’s player source of information.

Not like Red Flower Demon who took an alternative path, mastering the Exorcism Sword Manual and slaying chickens seeking enlightenment.

He was just an ordinary player who could grind.

But now it was different, the other party showed extraordinary potential—the potential to be a gigolo!

Such potential was definitely worth nurturing!

”Boss, you want to meet that group of gorillas?”

After some idle chat, I am a Big Muscle Dominator finally confirmed the other’s intention.

”But boss, why do you want to meet such a basic mercenary corps?”

I am a Big Muscle Dominator couldn’t understand.

Though unlike some story-heavy players who are extremely loyal to this camp, as someone who has witnessed their faction grow step by step, I am a Big Muscle Dominator had deep feelings for the current legion and was very proud of it.

Other factions could only start from ’basic mercenary corps’.

But their legion, from the beginning, enjoyed the top mercenary corps treatment in the Hydra black market.

As a result, they looked down a bit on ’basic mercenary corps’.

For example, those gorillas who claimed to be Orgrimmar people.

They came from a very ordinary Level 1 Planet Civilization and, like most low-level mercenary corps, were recruited by ambassadors sent by the Collector.

These low-level civilizations are often eager to connect with interstellar society early and try to acquire some advanced alien technology from it.

And the current state of these gorillas was somewhat equivalent to working as illegal laborers abroad.

...

And with I am a Big Muscle Dominator’s introduction, Gao Gong soon met the female gorilla and the gorilla elder of the Orgrimmar tribe.

”Our Cybertron Corps is very enthusiastic about collaborating with alien friends from various planets to build a beautiful future together...”

Gao Gong showed unprecedented kindness, which made I am a Big Muscle Dominator can’t help but glance sideways.

’Has this guy lost his mind?’

And when faced with the friendship of a top mercenary corps leader, these gorillas who lived at the bottom of the cosmic black market were undoubtedly flattered.

Especially after learning the other had defeated those notorious star thief groups like the Walter Star Thief Group, the Lester Star Thief Group, the Independent Traitors, and the Co-prosperity Seekers, they expressed genuine admiration.

Too strong!

However, only Gao Gong knew, the truly strong ones were them.

The Orgrimmar people, later known as the Hammer of Destruction tribe, were the first to step into a Level 3 Civilization in the Robert Star System and the first Carbon-Based Civilization to achieve civilization ascension.

Their racial talent was incredibly powerful.

The progress of ordinary civilizations is usually measured in hundreds or thousands of years.

But for them, it took a mere breath to overcome technological hurdles that had plagued other civilizations for decades or centuries.

The advancement of ordinary civilizations often required complex interest struggles, dozens or even hundreds of regime changes, and technology evolution through countless detours.

But for the gorilla tribe, the pathway of civilization evolution was like this—

Roaring—turning into gorillas—rushing into the primeval forest—swinging from vines—knocking off bananas from passing monkeys—swinging from vines—picking a durian—smashing the monkey king to death—dominating the primate group—mastering hot weapon technology—defeating carbon-based hairless apes (humans)—dominating the world—mastering space warp technology—leaving the star system.

Genius!

Truly a civilization genius!

In the records of the Civilization Council, there would always be some unique civilizations that could condense other civilizations’ development pace of tens of thousands of years into a very short period.

And these civilizations are collectively referred to as Calamity Civilization, with the typical representative being the Blade Queen’s Insect Race Civilization.

And the future ’Hammer of Destruction’ was among them.
