Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 954: Chapter 60: Nightmare Level Combat Power

A streak of light rose from the direction of the Mechanical Serpent Constellation, targeting a mechanical satellite.

In the interstellar era, most satellites are not actually naturally formed but are man-made products. There are two reasons for this: first, to protect the planet itself, and second, to alleviate the human-land contradiction.

However, on this black market planet, the latter factor is negligible, and the former is the most important.

And those recognized by the Collector and allowed to settle on the mechanical satellite are undoubtedly his trusted underground channel providers.

The Xie Family is one such entity.

At this moment, Gao Gong was silently studying the ’Xie Family’ data.

The Xie Family, a High-Orbit Industrial Clan and a Pure Mechanical Family, controls over ten thousand armed space stations within a radius of 0.5 light-years, with 3131 railguns and 312 patrol spaceships, holding Second Level Space Floating Cannon usage rights (the type Gao Gong saw when he first arrived).

This is the information about the armed forces controlled by the Xie Family.

The Xie Family itself is equally formidable.

The Second and Fifth Elders of the Xie Family are large mechanical bodies modified by the ’Interstellar Fortress’.

The Third Elder of the Xie Family, known as a Mechanical Demon Zombie, has completed electronic virus modification with the help of the ’Mechanical Ancestral Hall’, becoming a Tier 3 Virus.

The Fourth Elder of the Xie Family possesses the most secretive ’Mechanical Zombie Squad’ of the Xie Family. This type of mechanical zombie has the power to pollute mechanical life, and once mechanical zombie poison spreads, it is irreversible.

As for the Great Elder who controls the ’Mechanical Ancestral Hall’, besides having authority over the ’Hall’, he also holds the family’s server usage rights and can manipulate server permissions to control all family members.

Except for these five elders who reside long-term at the family’s ancestral home, other family members are distributed among different interstellar influences, like the Eternal Financial Group, certain large Interstellar Mercenary Corps, and some living far away, not even in this Stellar Vortex or Star Zone.

This information was given to Gao Gong by Little Collector No. 0019 and was encrypted, detailing the code numbers each elder possesses.

No one knows the Xie Family better than he does.

Closing the data, Gao Gong silently thought:

’It seems that that ’Little Pada Star’ also became suspicious of the Xie Family. The Liberation Association people appear on this planet so brazenly, and the painstakingly arranged planetary defense system is utterly useless; there’s either an internal spy, or perhaps there’s none.’

’Regardless of whether there is a spy, this person is certainly looking to make an example, and I’m that knife. No wonder he agreed so readily.’

”General G, have you finished reading? When you take action, we will, as agreed, use the highest authority to disable all defense weapons on Satellite No. 10, and at that time, you can use the Star-Destroying Cannon to destroy the whole satellite.”

On Gao Gong’s seat, a palm-sized ’Little Pada Star’ was incessantly chattering about his plan.

Honestly, even with Gao Gong’s experience, he couldn’t discern what type of life form the other party was. What’s more magical is that when he pinches himself casually, like taking a small piece from a big chunk of silicate, it transforms into a ’Little Pada Star’ with independent life and thinking. This technique can’t even be accomplished by Advanced Carbon-Based Life.

Advanced Carbon-Based Life can achieve ’cell division, flesh replication’, but creating a soul is the domain of Information Life.

Could he also be an Explorer of the ’Fusion Route’?

Impossible, the ’Fusion Route’ can’t be this weak.

”General G, do you have any opinions on my arrangements?” ’Little Pada Star’ asked curiously.

”No, no opinions,” Gao Gong said with a half-hearted smile, ”just a small question—”

”What if using the Star-Destroying Cannon in such a populated area gets discovered?”

”Hehe, rest assured, we will shut down all monitoring systems and create a large signal quarantine zone, ensuring your attack receives maximum privacy protection.”

’Bullshit!’

’You think I just got into the interstellar scene.’

Gao Gong rolled his eyes quietly; there’s no need for monitoring footage for such a level of area attack. Anyone with a bit of energy perception would undoubtedly detect it.

”Mr. Collector doesn’t plan to expose my Star Destroyer and, under the guise of protecting me, put me in his employment, does he?” Gao Gong said quietly.

If the Star Destroyer is exposed now, various civilization influences would undoubtedly come at him like rabid dogs, and at that point, the only one capable of providing shelter would be the Collector.

”Haha, of course not,” ’Little Pada Star,’ or rather, ’Little Collector No. 0019’ didn’t falter and eagerly introduced, ”But speaking of cooperation, I heard you’ve recently faced some minor difficulties regarding funds. We’re planning to issue a batch of soul loans with amounts up to 100,000 points in the black market. Is General interested?”

You even talk about black market loans; do you think I would dare be interested.

Gao Gong silently retorted inwardly, then got straight to the point.

”I think we should consider the current situation instead.”

’Little Collector No. 0019’ did not dwell excessively but asked curiously:

”Since General doesn’t plan to use the Star-Destroying Cannon, what method do you intend to use to solve the Xie Family, whose armed forces are rated at ’Nightmare’ level?”

This armed forces evaluation system is inherited from the Mirta Federation, and the Galen Republic also has a similar standard; however, considering the technology level of individual weapons, people are more inclined to use the former’s standard.

Little Ghost Level, Nightmare-Level, Nightmare Level, Death God Level

It is said that reaching the ’Death God’ level can silently kill an entire planet’s lifeforms, including destroying species on the surface and even eliminating hidden life deep within the Earth Core silently.

This standard sounds less like the combat power standard for ’Carbon-Based Species’ and more akin to ’Information Life’.

It’s not about surface destruction, star destruction, or sun annihilation, but about pursuing absolute life annihilation.

This may relate to the ’Spiritual Training Skill’ of the Mirta Federation. Besides Mecha Technology, this Mecha Civilization’s civilization treasure is also the ’Brain Domain Development Technology’, commonly known as Spiritual Power Training Skill.

The so-called ’Nightmare-Level’ standard is the ability to plunge a Civilization Fleet into nightmares in a short time.

For a Pure Mechanical Family to have such an evaluation, it is indeed remarkable.

Therefore, ’Little Collector No. 0019’ was very curious.

”Simple, I’ll personally take action,” Gao Gong said confidently: ”Land on the satellite, find the Mechanical Ancestral Hall, erase all the Xie Family Spiritual Tablets, and cause the base code of all Xie members to collapse.”
