Gene Unlocking: I Evolve Every Day

Chapter 238: Chapter 217: Super-Terrifying New Pheromones (Part 2)

Lu Li pondered, since that’s the case, have I also developed pheromones that other humans don’t have?

After all, according to genetic unlocking analysis, one would gain certain abilities that only animals possess during continuous evolution.

Therefore, developing pheromones that aren’t human is a natural thing to do.

For example, aggregation pheromones, which humans generally don’t have.

But after unlocking his genes and continuous evolution, it’s possible to produce such chemicals.

The function of aggregation pheromones is to attract other individuals of the same species to come together for habitation, feeding, and attacking foreign entities, thus forming a group.

If I really have such a pheromone, would it be like a natural animal leader directly controlling its kind to do certain things?

Although tracking pheromones can also influence individuals of the same species, they are more like ”bewitchment.”

Aggregation pheromones are different; they are a ”command order.”

Lu Li decided to give it a try.

He hinted to himself to release aggregation pheromones towards Liu Kexin.

Then he conveyed the message ”take off your skirt” to her.

Liu Kexin was about to say something when she heard Lu Li say ”don’t overthink.”

Suddenly, she felt as if she received a mandatory command, despite her inner resistance, she naturally reached out and unzipped the back of her skirt, then took it off!

Of course, all her actions were completed under the covers; Lu Li didn’t see anything.

Even so, Lu Li was still taken aback.

Wow!

Are aggregation pheromones that powerful?

Can they directly control people?

Lu Li pretended to know nothing and blinked, asking tentatively, ”Hey, why did you take off your skirt?”

Liu Kexin blushed to the roots of her neck.

She didn’t know why she did that, thinking Lu Li might perceive her as wanton.

She buried her head under the covers again, whispering, ”Uh, well, it’s a bit hot.”

Lu Li had already activated his telepathy.

In the next moment, he heard Liu Kexin’s inner voice.

Liu Kexin’s mind wailed, ”Oh my God! What am I doing? Why did I take off my skirt in front of him? Will he think I’m a shameless woman? What if he really thinks that?”

This segment didn’t reveal much useful information.

Soon, Liu Kexin’s second inner voice came, ”What just happened? I seemed to feel Lu Li wanted me to take off my skirt, but he didn’t say anything, and I was very resistant inside, yet I did it involuntarily? Did I not rest well last night, and is my mind a bit abnormal?”

Great!

She’s starting to doubt her existence!

Lu Li was slightly sweaty, finally realizing how powerful aggregation pheromones are.

This thing can force others to accept instructions while conscious and execute his commands.

Viewed in this way, aggregation pheromones seem more advanced than tracking pheromones.

But that’s not the case.

Although tracking pheromones can’t directly force others to do something, they can subtly influence others’ behavior, habits, development, and physiological activities.

Simply put, these pheromones affect others’ entire physiology.

While aggregation pheromones’ mandatory orders are more like a mental control.

It’s like a wolf king controlling a pack of wolves.

As long as no individual is stronger than it alone.

It always holds the authority to command.

This is somewhat similar to mind control, but also very different.

Those controlled by mind control have no autonomous awareness.

However, those given mandatory orders by aggregation pheromones still possess autonomous awareness and can resist, provided the resister is stronger than the person releasing the pheromones.

This subtle difference leads to very different outcomes.

For instance, using mind control might not gain information known by the controlled object, as there’s no autonomous awareness.

But with aggregation pheromones, it’s different.

You can completely make the other party reveal a series of known information.

Because the object of forced command inherently possesses awareness, only being forcibly controlled.

Lu Li thought of alarm pheromones and mark pheromones.

He mused over whether releasing alarm pheromones would make people sense danger and escape immediately.

As for mark pheromones, if he leaves a marked message, can others perceive it?

These two types of life pheromones, humans generally don’t have.

Evidently, after experimenting just now, he has indeed developed aggregation pheromones that humans lack.

Developing alarm pheromones and mark pheromones is actually also natural.

With this in mind, Lu Li continued using his girlfriend as a test subject.

He deliberately stretched out an empty hand, hinting to himself that he was releasing mark pheromones on it, ”Hey, Kexin, look at my palm.”

”Look at what?”

Liu Kexin instinctively turned her head to look.

At that moment, she saw and felt puzzled, ”There’s nothing written on his palm, so why do I feel like there’s a poem written on it? ’The light of the sun fades away as it descends behind the mountain, and the Yellow River flows into the sea... Am I really going insane?”

Lu Li heard her inner voice and knew he couldn’t continue the experiments.

Otherwise, Liu Kexin might really start doubting her sanity.

He hurriedly hinted to himself to retract all pheromones.

Even deliberately reduced the sex pheromones that could affect others’ physiological reactions even at normal levels.

He could already discern that Liu Kexin’s agreement to be his girlfriend was likely still influenced by pheromones.

And it was the interference of sex pheromones.

This pheromone, even in normal situations, has a powerful ”bewitching” ability for individuals of the opposite sex.

As for how terrifying it is when fully released, Lu Li didn’t dare to try.

Afraid Liu Kexin would ”lose her mind” and do something absurd.

Lu Li said to Liu Kexin, ”You didn’t sleep all night, take a rest.”

Liu Kexin responded with an ”oh,” ”You have a rest too.”

Lu Li agreed, ”I’ll hold you and sleep.”

Liu Kexin was about to refuse, but Lu Li had already embraced her.

This time, she felt puzzled as there was no impulse like before.

This made Liu Kexin sigh in relief.

She then wrapped her arms around Lu Li, ”You better not do anything naughty, just hold me and sleep for a while.”

How could Lu Li not mess around?

He agreed verbally, ”Okay.”

While agreeing, his hands began to explore restlessly.

Liu Kexin had to reach out and hold him still like she did before.

The two were at a standstill for a little while.

In the end, seeing her persistence, Lu Li didn’t continue to be naughty.

Since she agreed to be his girlfriend, what’s the rush? Anyway, he’ll surely get what he wants in the future.

Lu Li decided to hold her quietly, planning to wait for her to fall asleep before getting up to sort out the luggage.

He didn’t need to sleep as he usually does, and having already slept on the plane back, sleeping or not seemed irrelevant.

Yet, for some reason, when Liu Kexin in his arms fell into slumber, Lu Li also inexplicably felt drowsy, closing his eyes and fell asleep.

Most importantly, Lu Li felt that his sleep was incredibly sweet, seemingly even sweeter than deep sleep, as if he was also under the influence of some kind of pheromone.
