Gene Unlocking: I Evolve Every Day

Chapter 233: Chapter 213: Gains from 300 Million Simulations

”Mr. Lu, you’ve returned?”

”Lu Shenxian... cough, Mr. Lu, are you okay?”

”What are you talking about? How could Mr. Lu have any problem?”

A group of people watched Lu Li return and hurriedly got out of their cars to look up.

Zhang Guocheng, Xiaolin, Wang Yu, and others who were more familiar with Lu Li dared to come closer to inquire.

As for Zhou Jinming and his twenty or thirty men, they didn’t dare to approach, only standing at a respectful distance, watching with awe.

Having just gone through a battle, Lu Li had expended a lot of energy and wanted to find a place to recover.

Therefore, he quickly said, ”There are some gold, jewelry, and US Dollars in these three safes. If you can realize the gold and jewelry, please deposit them along with the US Dollars into my Swiss Bank account. If not, try to help me transport the gold and jewelry back to the country. Can you manage that?”

Lu Li had just helped Zhang Guocheng, Zhou Jinming, and others catch Jin Zhouzhou.

Now asking them to do something was hardly a burden.

Zhang Guocheng immediately responded, ”Mr. Lu, rest assured, we will definitely handle it properly. Well, Old Zhou is familiar with this place, we’ll have him handle it later.”

Saying this, he looked at Zhou Jinming, ”Old Zhou, no problem, right?”

Zhou Jinming quickly stepped forward and replied, ”No problem, no problem.”

Lu Li glanced at him, smiled, and nodded, ”Much obliged.”

Zhou Jinming instantly felt flattered, bowing his waist considerably, and said flatteringly, ”Mr. Lu, no need to be polite, these are all things I should do.”

Lu Li exchanged a few more polite words and then let Zhang Guocheng, Xiaolin, Old Wu, and others drive back to Los Angeles, preparing to return to Huaxia the next day.

...

When he returned to the Los Angeles hotel, it was already past three in the morning.

Upon returning, Lu Li took a good hot shower, then lay on the bed and took out the experimental records collected earlier from the abandoned factory, carefully reviewing them.

He paid close attention to these experimental records and data.

After all, these things related to whether he could forever be the only extraordinary one.

The thick first record book, with a yellow cover, was stained with blood, with the words ”Human Combustion Decoding” written in English on it.

Human combustion or human fire describes an extraordinary phenomenon where the human body catches fire internally without contact with any external fire source, and can even burn to ashes, yet the surrounding things, including flammables, remain untouched.

However, the existence and scientific basis of this phenomenon have sparked quite a controversy, with attempts to explain it referencing historical and modern potential cases, citing causes like ball lightning, static electricity, the wick effect, or excess ketones in the body.

Lu Li had also read a series of similar reports.

It is said that the earliest records of human combustion appeared in mid-seventeenth-century medical reports.

To this day, related documents have become increasingly numerous and detailed.

For example, on December 15, 1949, a fifty-three-year-old woman named Cotteris in New Hampshire, Ugly Country, was burned to death at home.

The Manchester police investigation found that the ghastly, unrecognizable corpse lay on the room floor, yet the room’s contents remained undamaged, with no use of the fireplace or an ignition source found elsewhere.

The Associated Press reported: ”The woman must have burned like a fireball, yet the flames did not singe any wood in her home.”

This fact is astounding.

Similarly, in 1951, Mrs. Lize from St. Petersburg, Florida, was found turned to ashes in her room, with the house undamaged.

Such cases are countless.

Lu Li felt very curious, wondering to himself, ”Why exactly does the human body combust or inflame itself?”

With this in mind, he opened the experimental notes and began to read.

The first page of the notes stated: ”To this day, the modern scientific and medical communities deny the concept of human combustion. Some have proposed theories, but none have provided rational physiological evidence to explain how the human body could ignite or even turn to ash, as to destroy all bone marrow and tissue, temperatures exceeding 1648.9°F in high-pressure cremation chambers are necessary. Thus, scorched bodies with untouched clothing or some skin and flesh intact seem eerily mysterious...”

Lu Li read every detail without missing a single record.

A few minutes later, with his ability to read ten lines at once and his photographic memory, he remembered all the information and data recorded in this experimental notebook.

Lu Li also gleaned a startling piece of information from it.

”According to the notes, the occurrence of spontaneous human combustion is most likely related to a new subatomic particle called ’volcanic ash rock.’”

Subatomic particles refer to particles smaller than an atom.

Including but not limited to particles like electrons, protons, neutrons, mesons, and quarks.

Lu Li recalled the note’s content, ”Jin Zhouzhou had conducted numerous experiments, hypothesizing that certain groups might indeed produce specific subatomic particles within their bodies. However, these subatomic particles often merge into cells, making them unobservable by normal means, which Jin Zhouzhou could only analyze through numerous experiments.”

It’s not surprising that subatomic particles are unobservable.

Due to the extremely small scale of subatomic particles, observing them is not easy.

Additionally, subatomic particles move at very high speeds, usually undergoing rapid decay or annihilation, which brings significant challenges to their detection and observation.

Moreover, the subatomic particle Jin Zhouzhou named ’volcanic ash rock’ does not exist in everyone, adding to the difficulty of observing them.

However, according to Jin Zhouzhou’s note, this kind of subatomic particle not only possesses the ability to cause humans to naturally combust or self-immolate, but when it annihilates, it also releases a large amount of energy, causing a violent shockwave around it, producing an effect similar to an electric current.

After reading it, Lu Li became highly interested in this subatomic particle called ”volcanic ash rock.”

He pondered whether if he could discover and control this subatomic particle, it might greatly enhance his combat ability, or should we say destructive ability?

Additionally, if this subatomic particle could be artificially created, could it be applied to civilian or military industries?

For example, creating endless energy devices.

Or perhaps a subatomic weapon with power greater than nuclear weapons.

Since the third deep evolution, Lu Li has been able to use the micro-eye to see atoms.

Even particles smaller than atoms, though his vision is somewhat blurred, he can vaguely observe some.

He immediately activated the micro-eye to see if there were particles in his body similar to the ”volcanic ash rock” described in Jin Zhouzhou’s note.

Unfortunately, there weren’t any.

Lu Li couldn’t help but furrow his brows.

”If I can’t observe this subatomic particle, how am I supposed to control it?”

Suddenly, he thought of his consciousness projection, a simulation god-like skill!

He may not be able to observe this subatomic particle, but that doesn’t mean he can’t simulate it through consciousness projection.

As long as he simulates according to the description in Jin Zhouzhou’s note.

Lu Li estimated there was a high probability he could simulate it.

Without hesitation, he activated the consciousness projection and began simulating the ”volcanic ash rock” subatomic particle according to the note’s description.

A large amount of spiritual power and energy light was mobilized, continually being consumed.

The consciousness projection kept simulating the ”volcanic ash rock” subatomic particle.

However, this subatomic particle seemed like it didn’t exist at all.

Lu Li simulated for almost five minutes, and as his spiritual power and energy light were nearly exhausted, he still couldn’t simulate it.

”Could it be that this subatomic particle is impossible to exist?”

Lu Li felt a wave of disappointment and was ready to close the consciousness projection.

Because, with the spiritual power and energy light about to run out, if he didn’t stop, he might be completely drained.

Who would’ve thought that at this moment, a piece of information or a picture suddenly came through from the consciousness projection.

A view of a special subatomic particle structure!

”Huh?” Lu Li was stunned for a moment, ”It worked? Consciousness projection actually succeeded in simulating the ’volcanic ash rock’ particle?”

He was utterly incredible.

Because, in the past, consciousness projection simulations never exceeded two minutes.

If it surpassed this time, it could basically be declared that such a substance didn’t exist.

Or, even if it did exist, he couldn’t possibly control it with his current power.

Yet now, after about five minutes of simulation, did the subatomic particle come into existence?

Lu Li had a hunch that this ”volcanic ash rock” subatomic particle likely originally couldn’t exist, and the information in Jin Zhouzhou’s experimental notes was probably wrong.

It’s just that his consciousness projection simulation ability was so impressive that it took five minutes of consuming a large amount of spiritual power and energy light to simulate it.

Even though it seemed like the consciousness projection simulated for only five minutes.

In reality, each simulation in consciousness projection took just one microsecond.

One second equals one million microseconds.

That is, consciousness projection simulates a million times per second, and five minutes is a full three hundred million simulations!

The coincidence of three hundred million simulations only then produced the ”volcanic ash rock” subatomic particle, suggesting how low this probability is.

Most crucially, Lu Li had an instinctive intuition that the three hundred million simulations could only succeed due to a chance alignment.

If it hadn’t happened to align, perhaps before his consciousness projection upgraded and improved its calculation again, he wouldn’t have been able to simulate this at all.

”A ’volcanic ash rock’ subatomic particle simulated over three hundred million times must have incredible power, right?”

Lu Li speculated quietly, then calmly restored his energy, intending to return to peak condition before using the micro-eye to combine this subatomic particle and test how powerful it could be.

Could it be more powerful than a nuclear reaction?

He felt that this was a possibility and couldn’t help but quietly look forward to it.

Hopefully, the ”volcanic ash rock” subatomic particle would bring a delightful surprise.
