Chapter 312: Volume 4 Chapter 60 Secret Martial Arts Manual

”Secret martial arts manual?” The little kid took a look and pretended to ponder for a moment, then said in a very profound manner, ”This is really impressive. This manual is a comprehensive collection of martial arts handed down from a great master of ancient times!”

Tian Xingjian, who had just tasted the benefits of Mecha Martial Arts, eagerly asked, ”A comprehensive collection of martial arts? Is it powerful?”

The two lenses on the little kid’s spherical body swiveled around, unable to hide his smugness, and he said, ”Of course it’s powerful! This great master, with his unmatched wisdom, integrated the essence of ancient Chinese martial arts, including those from Wudang, Shaolin, and other mysterious sects, and after repeated distillation, he formed the invincible seventy-two moves. Soft yet firm, firm yet soft, containing gentleness within lasciviousness, and brimming with elegance within mightiness, nothing can withstand it! It penetrates everywhere!”

Fatty made sounds of astonishment, nodding his head in awe, and asked, ”So powerful, what’s the name of this great master?”

The little kid sighed and said, ”The name of the great master has vanished in the long river of history, let’s not mention it!”

The two of them looked at each other and sighed.

While Fatty sighed at not knowing the name of the old master when reminiscing about his grace, the little kid thought, ”Damn it, you changed the great master’s name to little kid, how can anyone bear that?”

This guy talked nonsense, the so-called secret martial arts manual was actually something the little kid came up with over thousands of years of boredom. His massive hard drive stored all of ancient Chinese martial arts, which were originally data from the Earth Federation’s Great Chinese Military District, used for close-combat research of Super Special Soldiers.

Traditional martial arts are naturally different from those described in martial arts novels. Although these materials were the essence of Chinese martial arts, they felt unsatisfying to the little kid, who was poisoned by martial arts novels. After reading plenty of classic martial arts novels like ”Swordsmen,” ”The Heroic Legend of the Condor Heroes,” ”The Return of the Condor Heroes,” and ”Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber,” the little kid found traditional martial arts too dull in comparison.

The Heaven and Earth Shifting, Dugu Nine Swords, Nine Yang Divine Skill, Pinching Flower Finger, Dragon Claw Hand, Dual Hand Combat, Finger Snapping Divine Power, Eighteen Dragon Subduing Palms, Beating Dog Stick Technique, Six Meridian Divine Sword, and other legendary techniques from martial arts novels were immensely captivating.

With no other way to pass the long and lonely time, the little kid finally decided to use his supercomputing power to combine martial arts techniques from novels with traditional martial arts.

In ancient times, the Man People used a fabricated ”Romance of the Three Kingdoms” to conquer the world and establish the Da Qing Dynasty.

Today, the little kid wanted to use fabricated martial arts novels, combined with the essence of traditional martial arts, to create an unrivaled martial arts system that would astonish the world!

So, over four thousand years, the little kid extracted logical martial arts concepts from novels, refined their essence and discarded the flaws, combined them with traditional martial arts techniques and training methods, and finally used scientific calculations of speed, strength, and efficiency to begin the wild creation of a martial arts system.

It was easy to say but hard to do. Not to mention that the descriptions in martial arts novels were just fragments, it was incredibly difficult to deduce a coherent and practical martial arts theory from them. Furthermore, the little kid, as an artificial intelligence, even though he knew all human meridians and blood flow routes, had no personal experience. Moreover, different martial arts philosophies were often vastly different and even contradictory. Combining the slow Tai Chi with Li’s Flying Knife from ancient dragon novels was no easy task.

Therefore, this so-called secret martial arts manual, created over three thousand years, was essentially a set of martial arts fabricated by the little kid using scientific calculation and creative imagination. Most of it was designed with robots like himself in mind, and if given to humans, the result would either be them losing their sanity or dying from exhaustion. They would never master it, even if they trained to death.

Fatty opened the file labeled ”Secret Martial Arts Manual” and sighed internally, ”This great master really didn’t get the worldly ways. Even if he didn’t give this martial arts system a fierce name like ’Killing God Palm,’ ’Life-taking Saber,’ ’Heavenly Stabbing Technique,’ or ’Golden Spear Unfallen Skill,’ he could have come up with something better than just ’Secret Martial Arts Manual.’ How old-fashioned it sounds!”

As soon as ”Secret Martial Arts Manual” opened, the great master didn’t beat around the bush. The first page revealed the first move, Nine Yang Divine Skill. Fatty shivered and almost fainted, ”This is a move? How impressive!”

Looking further, the second move was Heaven and Earth Shifting, the third move was Wave Riding Skill, the fourth move was Despondent Soul Demonic Palm, the fifth move was Dugu Nine Swords, the sixth move was Six Meridian Divine Sword... to the seventy-second move, Nine Yin Scripture. All seventy-two moves were named after top legendary skills from novels.

Seeing these familiar and exhilarating names, Fatty immediately decided, ”No matter what, I must become a master!”

Although the seventieth move, Sunflower Manual, was quite intimidating, it was the last move. As long as he was careful and stopped as soon as he saw the words self-castration, at worst, he would abolish his martial arts and still preserve his happiness.

He flipped through the directory to the first move, Nine Yang Divine Skill. The manual said: Nine Yin and Nine Yang, which is weak and which is strong, Yin Yang Balance, ruling the world. To reach the last move, Nine Yin Scripture, and achieve the invincible state of Yin Yang Balance, one must start with the first move, Nine Yang Divine Skill. This move encompasses all the most robust and fierce martial arts, immensely powerful and exceptionally fierce.

The following hundreds of pages were all detailed breakdowns of this move, including formulas for calculating force, diagrams for angle selection, footwork geometry, targets for attack, speed and timing control theories, and more. The tens of thousands of words made Fatty dizzy. He thought the old master was too brilliant; not only did he create extraordinary techniques and establish a sect, but just learning the scientific theories involved in the first move could earn him a doctorate.

Fatty always had a tenacious streak, especially when it came to life-saving skills, so he gritted his teeth and began to understand and comprehend it bit by bit. However, after reading for a while, he sighed and asked the little kid, ”You say this manual is really for humans to learn?”

The little kid curiously asked, ”If not for humans, then for what?”

Fatty angrily said, ”Look at this passage, ’Let him be strong, the breeze brushes the hill; let him be tough, the bright moon illuminates the long river. If he is strong, let him be tough; I wear armor.’ Is this for humans to practice? Try practicing with an armored body! And this annotation, ’Qi circulates in the Dantian, True Qi flows, muscle fibers’ density instantly increases, thought guides the Qi. Engine power increases to seventy thousand revolutions, force fills the whole body, and the attack area’s defense is instantly enhanced by shapeshifting liquid metal.’ Is this describing a human?”

For a moment, the little kid was speechless. He knew the difference between humans and robots. However, when he initially created this martial arts system, he didn’t understand Inner Strength or Inner Power. The Qigong in the data was vague, and even if Qi sense could be cultivated, no one had heard of someone jumping three meters high with it. Otherwise, the Olympic high jump record would have been shattered.

Since he had no reference and relied solely on imagination, he naturally used his way of setting it up. Who knew a real fatty would appear thousands of years later, insisting on learning this skill, and he accidentally exaggerated, leading to an awkward situation. He argued, ”How would I know? The old master wrote it like this. If you want to practice, go ahead. If not, don’t blame me. Maybe the old master was a great robot ancestor!”

Fatty thought for a long while, then suddenly patted the little kid and excitedly said, ”I got it! This isn’t a human martial arts manual; it’s a Mecha Martial Arts manual! This first move perfectly matches the shapeshifting biological dual-state metal of my Mecha. Applying it to the Mecha would pose no problem!”

The little kid, initially feeling guilty, immediately exclaimed, ”Exactly! This is definitely a Mecha Martial Arts manual. Take a good look!”

Both were satisfied with their conclusion. Fatty didn’t suspect the artificial intelligence of lying or exaggerating and, obsessed with martial arts, eagerly studied the manual. The little kid, seeing his first successful trick, felt a bit proud.

It seemed like fate had played a role. This martial arts system, created by an artificial intelligence over thousands of years through calculations and combinations, indeed turned out to be a supreme Mecha Martial Arts system. Since the creator was a mechanical lifeform, the Mecha didn’t need meridians or Inner Strength to execute the techniques perfectly.

Although the martial arts system required high standards for both the Mecha and the operator, the one who obtained it was a mechanic named Fatty and his biological dual-state metal Mecha.

The first move, Nine Yang Divine Skill, was actually composed of three moves: Rapid Advance, Armor Fortification, and Defense Penetration.

The footwork of Rapid Advance, which Fatty had never thought of, was extraordinarily exquisite. It used the Eight Diagram positioning to move and attack, not only hiding most of the body in attack but also exposing only the armored parts. Moreover, three punches were thrown in an instant—two fake and one real—making it very hard to defend against.

Upon further studying the punching routes and target diagrams, Fatty couldn’t help but exclaim. This wasn’t Nine Yang Divine Skill—it was a supremely aggressive and refined version of Monkey Stealing Peach!
