Counterfeit Hero

Chapter 305: Volume 4, Chapter 56: Jumping Off the Cliff

Seeing the tattered Magic Beast breaking out at high speed, the Black Cloud-like swarm of Land Mechas suddenly accelerated, like a frightened hive of bees. The dazzling steel currents rapidly dispersed, transforming into torrents of iron in the forested shrubbery.

The wings of the Desic Hunter Mecha Group, closing in on the center, suddenly opened their fingers, transforming their fists into palms. The outer mechas drew arcs in the distance, intertwining to encircle, intending to completely block the path of the escaping tattered Magic Beast.

Logic shot through the shrubbery like a meteor. Its engine roared piercingly, and in the cockpit, the red warning lights indicating the engine’s limit flashed wildly, emitting sharp warning beeps.

The red light flickered in the cramped, violently trembling cockpit, casting Tian Xingjian and Bonnie’s faces alternately in red and white tones. Behind Logic, the golden Warhammer had already caught up at full speed. Energy bullets crazily bombarded around Logic, turning every area in front and behind it into a hell of raging fire.

As they frantically ran for their lives, every second felt as long as a year. Logic was 200 meters from the gap.

On the radar, the dense blips representing enemy mechas seemed to be blocked by an invisible line. The Desic Hunter Corps mechas surged towards the middle along this line.

Fatty’s heart jolted. He suddenly looked up and saw a canyon cliff through the long-range viewer on top of the control panel. It was unfathomable! Death!

”Damn it!” Fatty bit his lip until it bled, his eyes nearly pop out of their sockets. He couldn’t believe that the terrain 2 kilometers ahead hadn’t been detected by Logic’s radar!

”What to do?”

Seeing hundreds of Warhammer mechas and over a dozen Royal Banner mechas with energy cannons ready to fire approaching swiftly from hundreds of meters away, Fatty felt a rush of blood to his head. He abruptly pushed the control lever, the mecha’s engine shrieked as it surged again, and the warning lights rapidly turned deep red, emitting a long siren.

Since there was no turning back, he had to charge forward! He had no other choices now. There were enemies densely packed all around him. Even if the cliff ahead led to hell, he had no choice but to jump down!

With Fatty’s right hand striking down, Logic’s auxiliary thruster began Level 1 acceleration. The sound of the mecha piercing through the air was like a cannonball being fired.

meters to the gap. The closing gap was already extending outward, like a shrinking funnel.

The movements of the Desic mechas surrounding the perimeter were somewhat sluggish, while Logic’s computer, upon entering this area, suddenly encountered strong magnetic interference, trembling and flickering with static.

Fatty understood why the mecha computer couldn’t detect the terrain ahead. The canyon was a magnetic black hole!

At this moment, Fatty even felt a trace of joy. As long as the auxiliary thrusters ensured he wouldn’t fall to his death, Logic’s Biological Dual State Metal was his hope for survival! At least, the pursuing enemies would definitely not dare chase into the magnetic black hole with their steel-based alloy mechas!

Second-level acceleration. The auxiliary thrusters, which had just dimmed slightly, sprayed dazzling light again. Logic’s speed soared in the air like a flashing lightning bolt across the sky, slicing towards its target.

meters to the bottom of the funnel.

Countless energy bullets poured down like a meteor shower, the dense explosions and soaring flames completely covering the gap area. Logic, like a stormy petrel sliced through the mud and burning flames lifted by the explosions. The fierce wind swept through!

Level 3 acceleration. The energy valve of the auxiliary thrusters opened fully. The enormous jet stream was like hellfire soaked in gasoline, and the speed surged violently again. Logic was entirely airborne, its body ignited with a green flame due to friction with the air!

Aistrazzi following closely behind couldn’t believe his eyes!

This was his unique skill, Lightning Assault! The secret of Level 3 acceleration, mastered on the spot by this tattered Magic Beast! The timing of ignition and mecha posture was precise, and the speed was faster than his own!

”Kill!”

Aistrazzi could not allow this terrifying Mecha to leave. He gathered all his strength and screamed, issuing the most fervent command!

The scene of several hundred Mechas unleashing unlimited firepower on a single coordinate is one that only mechanical warriors who have endured the most brutal battles can truly comprehend. It is a flash that can obliterate the heavens and earth, an avalanche that levels mountains to the ground, a hellish combination of blood and fire, a resonating roar of thunder shaking the sky.

The energy cannons of hundreds of Mechas simultaneously spewed forth torrents of firepower. The explosions merged into one, like a massive wave in the ocean, overwhelming everything in an instant!

Logic’s energy shield flickered amidst the explosions, like a candle flame that could extinguish at any moment in a storm. But nothing could stop its advance. At that moment, this battered Magic Beast had transformed into a red demonic wolf howling through hell. Charging fiercely and wildly, it forced its way through the dense explosions!

The funnel-shaped opening of over two hundred meters had become a world of fire. The sky, shrouded in Black Clouds, overlooked the speeding Magic Beast on this path of death. In the forest of falling shells, the Magic Beast’s steps grew more faltering, its body more battered. It should have fallen long ago, yet it still charged forward, singing triumphantly! Until it sprang out from the cliff with a perfect parabola, several Energy Bullets finally turning it into a splendid, dazzling fireball!

The warriors of the Desic Hunter Mecha Group stood silently on the cliff. The mechanical computers of their Mechas trembled madly under the interference of the geomagnetic black hole, rendering almost all instruments useless. As the cold mountain wind swept by, the Magic Beast was no longer in sight. From the bottomless gorge came the faint sound of impact.

It was all over. This was the most dangerous, cunning, and most honorable opponent the Hunter Mecha Group had ever faced since its formation. Yes, he was an opponent, not prey! Because, from beginning to end, even the most fervent Hunters could not capture this battered Second Generation Magic Beast.

Aistrazzi slowly turned off the power of the Mecha recorder.

Since the day he became a warrior, he had imagined countless times the day he would be separated from his brother by life and death. Now, standing here, he was silent. What he thought of was not his twin brother. After all, to die at the hands of such an opponent is no disgrace for any warrior! What truly puzzled him was, who exactly was the mechanical warrior of that battered Magic Beast?

Has the Leray Federation produced a Level 9 Mecha Warrior?

”Boom!”

Falling off the cliff, Logic tumbled, plummeting into the abyss. The Mecha’s electronic systems had completely failed, with only the malfunction system still showing dozens of red warning lights indicating 70% damage.

”Boom!” Another loud crash, and Logic suddenly hit a protruding rock, slowing its descent. Almost tossed from the violently shaking control platform, Fatty managed to stretch out his hand and press Logic’s right-hand control key. Logic reached out, hooking the edge of the rock by a hair’s breadth, hanging in mid-air.

Logic’s auxiliary thruster was broken; the Mecha engine retained only 20% power, and its energy was nearly depleted from extended combat. If it continued to fall, even the biological dual-state metal would not prevent it from being crushed by the sheer free fall speed.

Hanging from the rock edge, Logic swayed like a lone winter leaf. Looking at the dizzying chasm below, Tian Xingjian and Bonnie both simultaneously breathed a sigh of relief. ”Snap!” The huge rock seemed unable to bear Logic’s weight and shifted, causing Logic’s body to lurch downwards. Several small stones rolled down into the abyss, with no sound of them hitting the ground for a long time.

In the chaos, Fatty heard a scream, and a soft, hot body jumped on his back, trembling.

Fatty, whose sexual desire always peaked in extreme danger, shuddered in surprise, ”This cold woman didn’t scream in such dangerous moments before, why is she now climaxing? Could it be she’s afraid of heights?” He felt a surge of joy, imagining the scene of this incredibly beautiful woman, frightened and passionate, in a transparent glass house suspended over a cliff, her voice trembling melodiously. He felt immense pleasure. As for why Bonnie broke free from her restraints, he completely forgot to inquire. He just desperately activated all his back’s sensory cells, thoroughly enjoying the friction pleasure brought by this curvy body.

This small advantage, the scoundrel still wanted to seize.
