Beneath the Red Dragon

”Hey, Master Chris, Master Gross, Master Natarili, good afternoon. You’ve finished another day of work,”

The enthusiastic young man, brimming with youth, seemed to greet the three Giant Dragons, but couldn’t help glancing at the Silver Dragon’s demeanor.

Only some older, steadier individuals could calmly appreciate these previously uncommon scenes and greet them with composure, allowing their words to express their attitude.

Gross and Natarili quickly responded to the enthusiastic greeting. Although these Metal Dragons were revered for their noble status and great power, they never felt a different kind of recognition at these moments.

Silver Dragon Chris nodded to the people greeting her. Though these three Metal Dragons committed an error at the founding ceremony with Golden Dragon Obilash, causing rejection by the Dragon Group and all inhabitants of the territory,

they are now serving the Dragon Group and have handled several Wild Dragon incidents, and with the inherent aura of benevolence of the Metal Dragons, they gradually gained recognition from the residents.

Especially the Silver Dragon Chris, whose beautiful appearance made her particularly welcomed by the young men in the territory.

”So, have you two forgotten that we are still prisoners bound by the Dragon Group?” Silver Dragon Chris displayed an amused expression, her cold demeanor suddenly melting like spring snow, especially charming.

”Are you becoming enchanted by this power, which could be confiscated at any time, and truly working for this Evil Dragon-governed Imperial regime?”

Natarili no longer indulged this Silver Dragon. Everyone stood on equal footing, so this female Bronze Dragon let out a cold laugh.

”But I notice, a certain Silver Dragon is more diligent than us, not only working diligently at her busy job but also spending her scarce free time to visit various places and punish lawbreakers. Do you have an additional title of Sheriff?”

Silver Dragon Chris shook her head, her figure in a white gauze long dress appearing particularly graceful among the homebound crowd on the street, calmly stating: ”I am only acting for my own aspirations, indifferent to others’ views, only worried that you might be corrupted by money and power.”

”A mind too easily enchanted won’t be deemed useful by these Dragons. In their hearts, they are prouder than us.”

”You two should, during this time, contemplate your future choices.” Silver Dragon Chris left these meaningful words, fading into the crowd, leaving behind two somewhat stunned Giant Dragons.

But Bronze Dragon Gross, catching a glimpse amidst the crowd, unexpectedly discovered a distinct target.

Bronze Dragon Gross, as if driven by some peculiar force at this moment, quietly pulled companion Natarili’s hand, retreating into a tavern.

”What are you doing? I have no intention of being your mate. We are only allies and companions among Dragons,”

Natarili shook off Gross’s hand with slight discontent only after hiding in the tavern.

Bronze Dragons also hold the concept of fidelity among Dragon species, hence won’t casually act like the Five-Color Dragons.

”Hush, Natarili, I didn’t mean to take advantage of you. Guess who I just saw?” Gross’s face carried a mysterious expression, showing a sense of Dragon mischief.

”Who,” Bronze Dragon Natarili also lowered her voice, widened her eyes, coordinating with her companion.

”Holister, the Northern Inspector,” Gross whispered.

The female Dragon Natarili’s eyes truly widened now, revealing a look of surprise.

Holister, an adult Brass Dragon, dispatched by the Southern Good Dragon Alliance, the real Inspector in the Northern Continent.

Even though Brass Dragons rank lowest among Metal Dragons, akin to the status of Black and White Dragons among Five-Color Dragons, an adult Brass Dragon still possesses a Mighty Power that the Dragon Group cannot ignore.

Holister has always resided at the southernmost point of the Northern Continent, in Rose City of the Cas Duchy, closest to the Sea of Narrow Space, merely a sea route away from the center of the Icaria World, Central Continent, also the most thriving city in the entire Northern Territory.

Rose City thus becomes the intelligence and affairs hub for the Southern Good Dragon Alliance in the Northern Territory, with all affairs and intelligence from the Northern Territory sent to the Southern Good Dragon Alliance’s Dragon Crowned Council.

The Good Dragon Alliance uses this to monitor evil and injustice across regions and takes corresponding measures.

But since much of the Northern Territory lies in the wilderness, separated by the Endless Mountain Range, the Land of Divine Promise, only a smaller portion falls under the shroud of human and various races’ civilization, making the Northern Territory’s Good Dragon Alliance relatively weak in power.

The pampered, noble, and elegant Metal Dragons do not regard the endless wilderness and forests as their jurisdiction.

The Inspector of the entire Northern Good Dragon Alliance, the adult Brass Dragon Holister, has a unique hobby, which is enjoying designing fashionable and beautiful garments for others.

This adult Brass Dragon takes pride and joy in being praised for his garment designs, always hiding in his station, creating his own satisfactory fashion styles.
