Beneath the Red Dragon

Not just Fafnir, but the entire Golden City, and all the citizens within the entire territory are filled with joy today.

Because the Supreme Lord who rules over the entire territory, known to the outside as the King of Golden, or disdainfully referred to as the Evil Dragon Tyrant, Karon Gogomola, will awaken today.

Today is not only the day of triumphal return from the war against the Beastman, but also the official founding day of the Dragon Kingdom, and the day of the Red Dragon’s awakening is the moment of nation founding.

Not just countless citizens, but even those loyal warriors are eagerly anticipating the awakening of their Red Dragon Monarch.

Although, upon the victory of the war, a celebratory banquet was held by the Dragon Group to consolidate the kingdom’s beliefs, rewarding, comforting, and promoting soldiers, in the hearts of these warriors, an experience without the Red Dragon Monarch’s participation feels incomplete.

Loyal warriors yearn for the approving gaze and affirmation of the Supreme Monarch, something no Giant Dragon Lord can substitute.

Bronze Dragon Gross and Natarili follow behind a tall, golden-haired, handsome young man, bewilderedly staring at the usual loather, the Giant Demon.

The Bronze Dragon could sense the obvious malice of others, but today that malice vanished without a trace, and they even greeted him proactively.

Beside them stood a tall woman with shoulder-length silver hair, whose cold temperament stood out, even behind the proud golden-haired young man who wielded authority like a high noble.

Though the handsome golden-haired youth was already tall enough, the silver-haired woman’s figure was not inferior, exuding maturity and elegance.

These two individuals, who commanded such a unique status that even two adult Bronze Dragons willingly followed behind, possessed immense power and formidable capabilities.

The young Ancestral Golden Dragon, Obilash Rabil, whose father was not just a powerful noble within a human kingdom but also one of the leaders in the Good Dragon Alliance, the Golden Flash—Mogesa Rabil.

His mother, too, was an adult Silver Dragon with exceptional lineage, having numerous friends, as everyone knows, Silver Dragons are more adept at networking than Golden Dragons, and the Dragon Vein Circle of an adult Silver Dragon is immeasurable.

The silver-haired woman, on the other hand, was the sister of Obilash’s mother, known as the Holy Valkyrie Chris Tianna, entrusted by her sister to look after the young Golden Dragon on his first world excursion.

Chris Tianna’s bloodline talent surpassed even her sister’s, celebrated as a genius among Silver Dragons from a young age, instilling profound pride within her.

She was so proud that even potent Golden Dragons didn’t impress her, once swearing that only those of her age group who could defeat her would have the opportunity to pursue her.

This marked the beginning of her reputation, with countless young Giant Dragons suffering defeat in duels against this Silver Dragon, even Golden Dragons of her age couldn’t rival her, earning her the title of Holy Valkyrie.

Her sister wished to bind her proud sister, the Valkyrie who headed a Silver Dragon Holy Knight Order, Chris Tianna, through her son, Obilash’s noble Ancestral Dragon Blood.

Yet clearly, the proud and mature Valkyrie looked down upon her nephew, seldom interacting with this Golden Dragon so proud that even his golden locks defied gravity.

They walked along the bustling street, amidst hurried crowds, with residents rushing to Gogomola Square.

Today, to celebrate and share joy with all citizens, Casters set up magical projection facilities in the square center to allow those unable to visit the Royal Capital for the national founding and celebration ceremonies to join in the festivities.

Obilash frowned, swiftly moving through the crowds without anyone touching the garments of this noble youth, yet discussions among the crowd displeased him greatly.

”It’s said all Giant Dragon Lords will be present, we’ve never seen such a sight, I most want to see the esteemed Giant Dragon Lord, Forest Dragon Antajena, with scales supposedly more beautiful than jade,” someone remarked.

”I’m rather eager to see ’Deep Red Roar’ Kaidelos and Red King Kleyna; it’s rumored they are of the same clan as the Supreme Great Lord, possessing a quarter of his majesty. I wonder if the Supreme Great Lord will awaken today; seeing him once would be enough to boast for days,” said another.

”Fool, if you can see him, so can everyone else; what would you have to boast about!”

”You’re the idiot! I’d boast to newcomers,” replied the other.

Two newly moved-in humans hastily passed, but their conversation was heard by Obilash.

Becoming renowned among adventurers and minstrels, the Dragon Lords like Storm Dragon Doss, Ice Dragon Camid, and Forest Dragon Antajena, were all distant and ancient names created for these mighty Dragon Lords.

Ordinary Dragons aren’t qualified to be addressed so, as it invites ridicule and challenges.

”Heh, do these ordinary Dragons qualify to bear titles of mighty Lords? Gross, you’re right: evil must be suppressed, and the best way is to trample evil underfoot, conquer them, tame them, and rule them,” Obilash sneered, addressing the two Bronze Dragons. ”Let’s go, it seems today is grand indeed. Right on cue, I’ll publicly challenge that Red Dragon, inflated with such false reputation, to the ’Skhite’ battle of Ancient Dragon Lords.”

”I will defeat him in front of everyone, trample him underfoot, then claim his Dragon Group, rule his territory, and make him my guard dog, watching my Treasure Vault. Only Golden Dragons are fit to establish Dragon Civilization!”

”Pfft,” Silver Dragon Chris Tianna snorted inwardly, considering her nephew outrageously foolish.

The opponent was an Evil Dragon, albeit a rational one, but should Obilash provoke him, they won’t care about morals or ethics and will surely attack all at once.

During her travels, Silver Dragon Chris Tianna discovered this territory differed from other Evil Dragon Kingdoms, with warriors loyal to Dragons possessing extraordinary combat strength and discipline.

Moreover, there were those terrifying war machines and a considerable number of Caster Corps.

If a genuine conflict erupts, not just a young Golden Dragon, even an adult Golden Dragon might die here.

Then she would have to intervene, taking this pride-filled fool and escape, what an embarrassment.

”Tch,” the Silver Dragon Valkyrie shook her head quietly; had it not been for the Two Thousand Gold Coins her sister offered, she wouldn’t bother with this guy.

However, she soon clutched her wallet, showing a pained expression. Of the Two Thousand Gold Coins received from her sister, nearly eight hundred were spent at the Dragon Eternal Card Club, with only one purple card obtained so far.

”Really bothersome! Those vile guys, such swindlers; I ought to find a chance to teach them a lesson!”
