Beneath the Red Dragon

Black Dragon Rosani’s attitude suddenly became friendly. After the war with the beastmen, even the young Red Dragon Kedelos, whose mind worked even less well than White Dragon Camid, gradually understood.

In today’s world, it is difficult for dragons alone to face many dangers and challenges.

These beloved ones and subjects are the loyal spears and shields of the Dragon Group, and the seeds of the Dragon Group’s wealth and strength.

Karon’s teachings may still be met with some disdain deep down in the hearts of these giant dragons due to their inherent True Dragon pride, but the lessons learned from events have left a deep impression.

”I know you, young lady, Nora, am I right,” said the Black Dragon Lord, despite his gentle tone, his terrifying visage, with sharp horns as if a face armor, still prevented most people from approaching easily. Thus, he greatly admired the courage of the young lady before him.

”I remember you. You are the girl most skilled at horse breeding in Bay Stream City, and your beautiful yet obedient horse achieved second place in the first horse race I organized, leaving a deep impression.”

”I hope you continue to strive. I admire you greatly. As for the ’Red Compassion,’ you should head in that direction.” The Black Dragon swirled his tail, the tip rising up elegantly, pointing the two bold youngsters in the right direction.

”Alright, thank you, Lord Rosani,” the young girl Nora bowed to the Black Dragon Lord while pulling her brother Natis along, then said: ”But I must disappoint you; I no longer breed horses. I am learning martial arts with Uncle Faen, determined to become a great warrior, joining the ’Red Compassion’ battle group.”

”Oh, you, a young lady, also admire the glory of warriors and yearn for the baptism of war?” Suddenly, an elegant, well-dressed handsome young man inserted himself into the conversation.

This noble, with a head of black hair and golden eyes, although his appearance was handsome and his demeanor extraordinary, there was an innate and cold allure throughout his presence.

Nora turned around in surprise, trying to see who possessed such courage to interrupt the conversation with the Dragon Lord.

But the Black Dragon Lord Rosani, perched on the high tower, whispered: ”Do not look directly into their eyes, Nora. Those ancient vampires, their eyes have the power to dominate mortals.”

Due to the favorable impression of young Nora’s status as a horse breeder, the Black Dragon Lord rarely offered such a proactive reminder.

Nora quickly lowered her gaze, focusing on the smooth, beardless jawline, then said: ”Honored guest, I don’t enjoy war, but I acknowledge it and wish to participate proactively—only to protect and fight for the noble goals of the Supreme Lord, for the rights we deserve!”

The vampire noble nodded politely to Nora and smiled: ”What a wonderful answer! Brave girl.”

Then he turned to the Black Dragon Lord, speaking with a tone almost of eulogy: ”It is unimaginable. The Sanctuary of Monsters, praised by countless evil races, ruled by the Five-Color Dragons in an evil orderly kingdom, could receive such loyalty from its subjects,”

”Lord Rosani, the art of dragon governance surpasses the beauty of the most exquisite symphonies!” The youthful-looking vampire noble exclaimed in admiration.

The Sanctuary of Monsters, this title, has been spread after the beastman war by numerous minstrels and adventurers, especially after the statement by the young Red Dragon Monarch in the past, representing the inclusive and embracing stance of the Dragon Group Territory.

Numerous races are able to gather in the Land of Golden, forming a common cultural and national symbol—the Golden People, which makes many external monster races yearning for this Land of Golden, especially as they are hunted and oppressed by increasingly dominant humans and humanoid races.

Just as Barbarian Chief Jib’s kin, these barbarians have never been welcomed by mainstream society, always being ostracized and oppressed, emerging in the most dangerous and barren wilderness and swamp forests.

But even these berserkers, who honor battle, yearn for a place to rest peacefully. Although joining the Dragon Group Territory requires strict adherence to the exceptionally harsh laws set by the Dragon Group, it is better than the danger-laden and conflict-ridden outside world.

Thus, a considerable portion of monster races is now migrating towards the Dragon Group Territory, especially the wandering Dogmen Race in the wilderness.

Many Dogmen even cling to wooden logs, drifting along the sea edges, or traversing the perilous Endless Mountain Range Jungle to reach this land.

”Count Renis,” the Black Dragon Lord Rosani nodded to the vampire, responding politely to his praise.

This wasn’t due to the vampire’s power, but rather due to the existing trade relationships and potential future alliances between them.

Black Dragon Rosani respects the wealth behind these affluent vampires—Gold Coin, Gold Coin, and more Gold Coin.

The vampire warriors accompanying vampire Count Renis, clad in non-core Nightwalker Beggar Armor from head to toe, are testimony to the Dragon Group and vampire trade.

These vampires, unlike their sworn enemies the Wolfmen, are not dispersed worldwide due to internal conflicts.

Although internal disputes among the thirteen vampire clans are constant, comparable to noble court intrigues and power struggles, they still, under the leadership of Vampire Prince Hegula, unite as one, ruling the Forest Kingdom on the Western Continent.
