Beneath the Red Dragon

”Not only the direct losses caused by the war but also the profits delayed over years of conflict should be counted altogether. This will be an unimaginably massive compensation,”

Hearing what Bronze Dragon Alina said, the dragons’ greed poured from their eyes, shining brightly in the hall.

”If the Beastman Kingdom accepts this compensation, we can harvest a considerable fortune to develop our territory. When we have enough power in the future, we can reconquer the Beastman Kingdom.”

Whether Five-Color Dragon or Metal Dragon, although these Giant Dragons may have large bodies, their Heart Eye is never big. Every Giant Dragon is an extraordinarily vengeful being, and their immensely long life and abundant energy make it almost impossible for the dragons to forget a grudge once they hold one.

Even if they received compensation from the Beastman Kingdom, these dragons still did not intend to spare the Beastman Empire, not even Bronze Dragon Alina.

”If the Beastman Kingdom cannot afford this huge amount or refuses to compensate, we will have a rightful reason to wage war against them at will, even the meddling Southern Good Dragon Alliance cannot stop our vengeance for this.”

Bronze Dragon Alina’s cold smile turned into a grin, ”At that time, it will be the moment of destruction and plunder by the Dragon Group.”

”Very well, gentlemen, do any of you have any comments, or should we vote directly?”

Karon looked around the Dragon Group, giving each dragon a sense of presence and honor.

”I agree,” White Dragon Camid lazily lay on the Black Stone Throne, its long tail behind it rising like a hand waving.

”I agree with Alina’s point,”

”I agree!”

One by one, the Giant Dragons raised their claws, or lifted their tails to express their agreement.

The three Metal Giant Dragons hiding at the door exchanged glances and deepened their understanding of this peculiar Dragon Group.

In the tradition of these Metal Dragons, even in the family of Metal Dragons, decisions are made by the patriarch’s word alone, but they do not treat their clan as harshly as the Colorful Dragon Group does.

But in the Gogomola Dragon Group, every member plays a quite important role, able to speak freely and truly participate in the decision-making, undoubtedly making these dragons feel more recognized, more united, and closer in relationship.

”Very well, since you all agree with this opinion, I will also respect your will,” Karon nodded, ”As for the issue of the Fishmen, what ideas do you have.”

”These inferior Fishmen should be dealt with according to the ’Extermination Order’ previously issued in the territory,” Blue Dragon Doss said, ”However, we can also take the opportunity to eradicate these Fishmen tribes one by one, but we have not yet mastered the Fishmen tribes’ encampment, we need to issue a bounty and continue to investigate.”

”We can announce to the entire Northern Territory a bounty on the heads of these Fishmen,” Ocean Dragon Naxson raised a claw, ”I know a Giant Dragon that likes to be active in the mists of the sea, Fog Dragon Deniro,”

”He is acquainted with a Naga tribe in the deep sea, those Nagas are also enemies of the Fishmen, maybe we can connect with those Naga tribes through Fog Dragon Deniro, and thus get information about the Fishmen tribes. The sea is too vast, even for Giant Dragons, these deep-sea species’ forces cannot be compared.”

”I can go out to sea every day to patrol for news of those stinking fish, White Dragons are not weaker in water than Sea Dragons,”

Young White Dragon Sloraka stood up voluntarily, this young White Dragon gradually became involved in these events, he was also eager to make some achievements.

Young White Dragon Roni also raised her tail tip, signing up to participate in such activities that entertain the dragons’ body and mind. Although these White Dragons are weak, they are excellent hunters.

”Very well, let’s do that,” Karon pretended to ponder for two seconds before opening to affirm.

After bringing up two matters that, no matter how handled, wouldn’t deviate much, allowing the Dragon Group to participate, this Red Dragon finally brought up the final matter that no one could change his will about.

While he could subdue the entire Dragon Group with his most powerful force, he did not mind taking a few extra steps to make the Dragon Group more united if some small techniques would achieve that.

”Lastly, two laws must be promulgated at the founding of the Empire, Naxson, as the chief Law Enforcement Officer within the territory, you are to implement these two decrees next.”

Ocean Dragon Naxson perched on the Black Stone Throne, this Ocean Dragon did not become a lord by his strength, but truly became one on the Black Stone Throne by his merits.

He lowered his head, then raised it again, carefully listening to the Red Dragon’s words.

”The first, throughout the Imperial territory, officially promulgate the ’Slave Promotion Decree’. Regardless of reason, whether prisoners of war, serfs sold into slavery, or born as natural slaves, they can gain advancement to freedom through their labor. The specific standards of promotion, you need to carefully consider.”

Although there has been such a precedent in the Dragon Group Territory before, it has not yet been written into the formal laws of the Dragon Group. This is undoubtedly an enormous change.

Fortunately, the Dragon Group had already grown accustomed to this precedent and did not mind. Now, the Dragon Group does not need such crude methods to acquire benefits, as they completely look down on this inefficient behavior.

Moreover, in the entire Dragon Group Territory, although some small slave owners have begun to emerge, there is no discordant sound at all in the realm dominated by the Dragon Group.

The entire territory was built from nothing by the Dragon Group, piece by piece. They do not even need to exercise absolute violence; any small opposing voices are drowned out by the masses.

This also serves as Karon’s preparation for the imminent expansion and conquest. Conquest is for better governance, to gain the maximum benefit, not simple wars or destruction.

Silver Dragon Chris, along with two Bronze Dragons, Gross and Natarili, were shocked by the magnanimity of this Dragon Group. In their eyes, once such a decree is issued, perhaps there will be no voices willing to oppose in the Dragon Group territory, but it will provoke a fierce reaction from other nobles and conservative forces.

Karon looked at the indifferent dragons, speaking loudly: ”The second, and most important one,”

The indifferent dragons instantly straightened up a bit, the Red Dragon’s tone, represented by its attention level, was also rising.

”The Golden Empire, the empire created by the Dragon Group, the civilization we have built together, will temporarily announce to the entire Northern Territory, no matter what scale color the Giant Dragon may have, they can seek asylum in the Golden Empire, as long as they abide by the laws of the Empire, follow the will of the Royal Court,”

The Red Dragon’s eyes became exceptionally captivating at this moment, his dark gold slit pupils shone sharply, his voice resounding throughout the entire Royal Court Hall, making each dragon’s aura boil uncontrollably.

”The Empire will declare to the entire Northern Territory that no race, no force, no individual is allowed to enslave dragons, harm dragons, or kill dragons,”

Karon’s fangs glistening with cold light, his tone was even more icy than his fangs, ”Even dragons cannot, without the Empire’s permission, freely harm, enslave, or kill other dragons, all such powers are vested in the Empire!”

The young Red Dragon Kedelos’ dragon pupils lit up, the female Red Dragon Kleyna’s dragon pupils lit up, and the Bronze Dragon Alina’s dragon pupils lit up as well, the eyes of each dragon, like golden lamps, lit up at the same moment.

An unparalleled aura enveloped the entire Royal Court Hall, no dragon cared about the consequences of this decree’s announcement, even the cool-headed Bronze Dragon Alina was the same.

Even the Bronze Dragon Gross, Natarili, and Silver Dragon Chris, even though they seemed chained like slaves, their dragon blood raged uncontrollably at the Ancestral Red Dragon’s words, radiating their brilliance without restraint.

”To wear the crown, to bear its weight,” Karon regally sat on the throne, smiling faintly: ”Southern Good Dragon Alliance, I wonder how they compare to my Dragon Empire!”
