Beneath the Red Dragon

No one can accurately understand how vast the entire cosmos is, nor how many planes and continents it contains.

Even the Divine Spirits residing high in the Star Realm find it difficult to master or comprehend the myriad complex races in existence, or how many worlds composed of billions of beings remain undiscovered by them.

This is a truly peculiar plane. In this plane, there is no clear distinction between the seasons. Perhaps today all things awaken with warmth, and tomorrow life will hide away in slight chill.

Above the sky of this plane hangs one sun and two moons.

These two distinctly different celestial bodies appear simultaneously in the sky.

These stars are the foundation upon which the Magic Civilization was born in this extensively flat, plain-like plane.

The entire continent, uniformly flat like a plain, is suspended in the Void, stretching vast hundreds of thousands of miles, with countless mountains, rivers, lakes, forests, grasslands, and highlands.

An endlessly wide ocean surrounds the entire plane like a giant river, forming a ring that serves both as the plane’s protective moat and as its binding shackle.

This civilization, led primarily by the mighty race of Ligulei, is formed by the unification of various humanoid races. It was forged through conquest and integration over millennia.

Under the leadership of a powerful leader, they gradually abandoned the worship of Divine Spirits by primitive tribes and primitive nations and strived to develop a civilization uniquely their own, no longer led by the decrees of the Divine Spirits or subjugated to their will.

Thus, their civilization became extremely advanced. Countless cities rose from the plain, many capitals were established atop leveled peaks, and towers resembling cast iron towers stood tall in the centers of each city.

These towers are covered with countless flickering runes, as if they possess lives of their own, breathing toward the sky, absorbing and exhaling massive amounts of energy.

These are the energy harnessing devices of this plane, capable of extracting the power of the magic power tides of the entire world for their civilization’s use.

With the aid of these energy harnessing devices, the civilization of the entire plane advanced in exploring their world, reaching to the ends of the sky and diving to the depths of The Sea.

They built Magic Spaceships, attempting to break through their world and explore the broader cosmos.

Yet one day, in all corners of the world, quietly emerged many strange beings. Although these beings had the same faces and forms as the inhabitants of this plane, they appeared dazed, ignorant, yet fearless.

They emerged one by one from the long-forgotten Divine Hall in every corner of the ancient world, wearing nothing but simple, thin garments, wielding only a wooden stick, but gradually blended into the indifferent civilization.

Observed through the light screen formed by Bo Rong’s strange power, scene after scene unfolded. Karon, seated on his throne, remained expressionless, though harboring certain speculations in his heart.

Their chaotic behavior, their unique styles, their greedy fearlessness, and the fact that they could return from the shadows of the dark Divine Hall after death all made Karon clear on the origins of these beings.

Karon continued to focus on Bo Rong’s demonstration.

In the activities of these purpose-driven beings, they gradually integrated into the civilization of the entire plane. Despite their weak powers, their growth rate was swift, always eager to help and willingly taking on responsibilities.

Within just years, these strange beings infiltrated throughout the entire civilization. Some exceptionally talented individuals even gained considerable power and status and some became remarkably strong warriors.

As time passed, the scenes on the light screen gradually changed.

The once strong civilization and relatively peaceful world began to unravel into chaos due to the unpredictable actions of these beings. Civilizations fragmented, wars erupted internally, and the world began to issue warnings of imminent doom.

Finally, during a twilight akin to the world’s end, Karon witnessed firsthand the fall of this world’s civilization, submerging along with the entire world into the endless sea.

Countless flashes ignited from the mountains on the earth, with thousands upon thousands of fire pillars ascending amid billowing smoke, enshrouding even the stars of the Source of Magic in the sky with endless smoke.

In the sky, countless battleships and warriors pursued and collided with each other. Every moment saw countless ships crashing and warriors burning fiercely as they plummeted into the earth’s crevices.

The beings who integrated into the civilization now reveled in the desire for destruction and the joy of devastation. They even willingly sacrificed their lives in rituals, summoning innumerable Demon Gods, Demons, Devils, and Demon Dragons, even with their own flesh and blood.

Each summoned mighty presence could eclipse the light of an entire town in the sky.

These terrifying beasts, merely by walking slowly across the land, could crush towns and the lives of countless beings beneath them.

Destruction and flames cascaded from their bodies, capable of burning everything.

One by one, cities on the land burned and were destroyed. These inexhaustible fires left the corners of the Divine Hall untouched.

Silhouettes rose resolutely from the land, from cities, from mountain ranges. They were the legendary Mages and the legendary Warriors, hurling themselves with their might upon the monstrous creatures at the world’s most perilous moments.
