Beneath the Red Dragon

The silver dragon and bronze dragon behind him could only stand tall and transform into their original forms in mid-air, facing the entire dragon group and countless spectators.

A gigantic golden dragon measuring seventeen meters long floated in the air, and although it was also a super giant dragon like the silver and red dragons, it had already grown beyond the average golden dragon during its adolescent stage, displaying the unparalleled talent of this ancestral golden dragon.

Thick, golden dragon horns appeared as though they were dyed in gold, with wings as massive as sails and scales glowing brightly like gold. Even the whiskers growing beneath its jaw were golden.

The favored child of the Platinum Dragon God Bahamut, the most powerful of the metal dragon species, the noble and magnificent golden dragon Oblash recklessly looked down upon the dragon group and all the people.

The ancestral golden dragon’s dragon power was released boldly, and the intense oppression caused countless people to feel fear and panic, unable to resist, unable to control, and compelled to submit to the majesty of this ancestral golden dragon.

Behind Oblash was the silver dragon Chris Tianna, an adult silver dragon whose body was a full twenty-one meters long, crafted like a masterpiece of pure silver. In the sunlight, she was dazzlingly bright, making it almost impossible for people to see her face clearly.

The head of the silver dragon under her own temperament seemed particularly dignified and graceful even for a giant dragon.

Her scales appeared as carved silver; her pupils fluctuated like mercury, and the silver disk on this silver dragon’s head differed from her kin, resembling a small, noble, and elegant crown.

Nevertheless, the dragon power released by the silver dragon was heavier, unlike the overwhelming majesty of the ancestral golden dragon.

Alongside the two adult bronze dragons, unwaveringly floating behind, their dragon power was fully released, pressing towards every giant dragon within the dragon group.

Not only were countless gathered civilians oppressed by the heavenly dragon power, but even the giant dragons within the dragon group were overwhelmed. The dominance of the ancestral dragons, even for these remarkable giant dragon lords, was impossible to resist or evade.

However, inability to resist did not equate to fear. These giant dragons, honed through the crucible of war, harbored no fear of the golden dragon. Instead, it sparked anger among the dragon group.

”Courting death,” roared the female red dragon Kleyna, frustrated. She was the first to rise into the air, ”You dare to stand above us? Get down, you foolish and arrogant golden dragon, you’re challenging the dignity of the dragon group. No matter who comes today, no one will save you.”

”Tear apart these wretched beings; they yearn for war, and we shall grant them war,” the usually composed white dragon Gomot roared crazily, unleashing fierce dragon power to confront the ancestral dragons and adult giant dragons’ majesty and oppression.

”Leave that silver dragon to me,” said the young red dragon Kedelos, his pupils igniting flames. The proud red dragons would not tolerate any giant dragon standing above them. Self-proclaimed as a dragon lord, the youthful red dragon’s rebellion caused heat and flame to radiate from his scales.

One by one, giant dragons ascended; over a dozen dragons’ dragon power fully blossomed, and the heavy pressure gathering in the air caused countless civilians to cry, tremble, and kneel in fear.

Countless people watching magic projections, their anger surged like flames, helplessly witnessing the boasting golden dragon.

Only those with steadfast wills, the warriors, showed intense anger on their faces. They roared and drew their weapons, eager to slay these arrogant giant dragons then and there.

Several powerful legion commanders had even quietly surrounded the giant dragons with their legion warriors. Under their command, the giant crossbows on the city walls began to turn and take aim at the dragons in the sky.

The Holy Sanctuary Grandmaster, the white-haired mage Lapus, originally among the crowd, now rose into the air. His burgeoning presence resisted the dragon power of the adult silver dragon, as his aura fluctuated and nearly breached the doorway, stepping into a higher domain.

If it were not for the rational restraint of the remaining giant dragon lords in consideration of countless civilians, a bloody battle would have already begun.

”Haha,” sneered the gigantic golden dragon Oblash, further surpassing an eighteen-meter young red dragon, his scorn visible.

”You lowly alien scales, how dare you speak of war to me? I am of the noble Golden Dragon Race, you aren’t even worthy to be my opponent,”

The ancestral golden dragon Oblash lifted his extraordinarily distinguished head, disdainfully saying, ”Summon your leader, that red dragon indulged in hollow praise. Perhaps he might barely qualify as my opponent.”

”Since you aim to restore the rule of the Ancient Dragon Lord, I hereby challenge you to the battle of Skhite, an Ancient Dragon Lord challenge.”

”Get out of our domain, you are not qualified to challenge the Great Lord, get out,” said Red Copper Dragon Alfred, especially furious. In his eyes, the unscrupulous behavior of the golden dragon, supposedly the epitome of justice, was unforgivable. Even when opposing the Five-Color Dragons, the civilians were innocent.

”I don’t mind killing you within the domain; this is the first time I’ve felt the urge to murder a giant dragon,” Bronze Dragon Alina said, baring her fangs, anger twisting the features of the bronze dragon.

”And you two fools,” Alina glanced at her kin, ”Is this the justice you seek?”
