Armed Train in the Apocalypse

These are good things for the train, and cannot be wasted casually.

”Boom!”

Qu Hang waved his hand, and a fierce gust of air instantly blew away the smoke, revealing a mess on the ground. Behind, the partition wall had a huge hole, and Mao Bear had disappeared.

The agile figure of Mongoose appeared at Qu Hang’s feet, his expression tense, as if facing a formidable foe, ”Finally lured him out, can’t let him escape.”

Qu Hang jumped off the billboard, looked at the big hole and sneered, ”Of course.”

”Boom boom boom——”

Mao Bear, holding his arms, ran wildly through the brick factory. Most of his body was stained with blood, but it didn’t affect his speed at all. Wherever he passed, various shelves and machines were knocked into disarray.

Without time to find a door, he directly crashed through the partition wall, and the roar of him smashing through the wall echoed throughout the factory.

It was even comparable to the high-explosive grenades just now.

Under Mao Bear’s rough exterior was a chill, ’A trap! This deal was a trap by the Donghuang people!’

Although he had never seen the power armor of the armed train, nor knew Qu Hang and Xiaoba, he recognized the iconic gray-green trench coats on both of them and the soldiers!

The first time they fought with Deep Blue Data, they had their suspicions, but at that time, Yuri was severely injured while covering the retreat and needed time to recover. They also needed to wait for the armed train to trade off the supplies; otherwise, in their current state, they couldn’t transport the batch of ammunition back and could only abandon it on the spot.

So this trip was not only a matter of coming in vain but also a huge loss.

So, relying on having two Tier Two Evolvers in the team, they held off the harassment from surrounding small forces and stayed here.

’The armed train never intended to trade, but to rob our supplies! He must get out alive. If he stays any longer, he won’t be able to save Yuri, and he himself might get trapped here, leaving no one to tell the company the truth.’

While Mao Bear was thinking this, he suddenly felt a terrifying sense of threat.

Looking up, he realized he had somehow already run to the street outside the factory. Opposite, on a second-story balcony, stood a stern-looking young man.

And the sense of crisis came from this young man.

It was another Tier Two Evolver.

The young man wasn’t wearing power armor, only a standard trench coat, with a three-meter tall Water Giant crouching silently behind him. It had no head or feet, only two stout arms, like door gods holding them up behind, with tiny spots of light shimmering in the dark night.

Mao Bear’s azure eyes were turbulent, and his heart was filled with bitterness.

Mao Bear of the Northern Alliance was never afraid of battle, but faced with this absolute disparity, the courage stirred by vodka had long dissipated, giving way to an inherent timidity. Thinking of the Tier Two metal manipulator behind, he was already racking his brain to recall the Donghuang language he had heard before.

Those were a few words he heard from extorting a Donghuang tourist before the end times, but he had long forgotten where he put them.

Who listens to what their prey is screaming?

”I’ve been waiting for you for a long time.”

Zhong You twisted the two short spears in his hand with a click, thought for a moment, then said in his limited Northern Alliance language, ”I suggest you surrender.”

...

Su Huan ignored the war outside and walked straight to the office area at the back of the brick factory.

According to the energy response of the entire brick factory, there were three Tier Two individuals in total, one was tangled up by the Mirror, another was with Zhong You and Xiaoba. The last one, somewhat weak, was in the office area, with some guards around.

Initially, Su Huan wasn’t sure whether it was Deep Blue Data or Gunfire, after all, the former also had pure-blooded foreigners like Haywood.

But halfway through the fight, Su Huan was sure it was Gunfire.

However, he had no intention of stopping; since the fight had started, he might as well fight until they’re subdued.

As a battle-hardened nation, if you don’t fight the vodka out of their heads, they won’t talk to you properly.

Su Huan extended his index finger, pointed at the void, and a bolt of lightning pierced through a hundred meters of air, like a spear of thunder, instantly appearing on the office area’s rooftop, piercing the sniper, and branching off into more than a dozen strands of lightning to stun the dozen guards around.

Accompanied by the sound of bodies hitting the ground, Su Huan casually walked into the three-story office building.

Standing at the entrance of the largest conference room, looking at the thin wooden door in front of him, the corners of his mouth lifted slightly, ”It’s been more than half a year since we last met, it seems you don’t respect me much anymore.”

There was no sound from behind the wooden door, and Su Huan had no intention of waiting, calmly pushing open the door.

In the spacious conference hall, two long sofas were pushed together, and a man from the Northern Alliance, wrapped in bandages, sat in the middle. One hand held two grenades, and the other carried a rocket launcher. Upon seeing Su Huan, his eyes first showed shock, then anger.

It was the old acquaintance Yuri, who had a fight with Black Kite when the train first entered the Storm Zone and accidentally captured a few unlucky members from other factions.

Among them was Donghuang Heavy Industry’s Yang Ruoyu, and the other was the Gunfire trio, with Yuri as the leader back then.

He was also the main person responsible for this trade.

Yuri’s voice was hoarse, like someone waking up from a hangover, filled with suppressed grief and anger.

”You lied to me!”

Although with a strange accent, it was indeed Donghuang language, not the gibberish of the Northern Alliance language.

Su Huan didn’t care about his anger, casually pulled a chair, and sat on it with his legs crossed.

The presence of a Tier Three Evolver dominated Yuri completely, making his face turn pale, and causing the rocket launcher in his hand to fall.

”It seems you’re seriously injured.”

Su Huan said with a playful tone.

”Why?”

”What why?”

”We were attacked before even reaching the trading point, then retreated here and were still continuously attacked. They said it was your doing, but I explained to them that you’re a principled person and wouldn’t do such a thing...”

Su Huan waved his hand to interrupt, coldly saying, ”What does your being attacked have to do with me? Our agreement was only to conduct an arms trade at the specified location. I’m not your dad, I don’t need to protect your safety.”

When the armed train crossed the Spore Zone, no faction had ever leaked any relevant information to him; only Lian Jin had given him a reminder.

But because of the Spore Zone’s movement, a misjudged distance caused heavy losses.

From start to finish, he never uttered a complaint. He believed it was his issue. According to Yuri’s thinking, should he also blame Gunfire for Lu Xiao’s death?

”Bang!”

Yuri angrily punched the sofa, yelling under the heavy pressure, ”But you attacked us! Now your armed train people are out there killing my people!”

”Heh.”

Seeing the genuine anger in the other person, Su Huan merely responded with a cold chuckle.

The question was so stupid that he didn’t even bother to answer.

With his index finger tapping lightly on the armrest, the energy in the air vibrated, spreading like ripples, causing Yuri on the couch to let out a painful groan, his chin stained red with blood.

”Since I still have some time now, you can choose to continue wasting my patience or talk about topics I care about, giving you and your companions a chance to survive.”

Su Huan said calmly, his tone cold and ruthless.

”Or, I can teach you how to respect the strong.”

...

Ten minutes later, the gunfire in the brick factory ceased.

After all, Gunfire, having been attacked by Deep Blue Data, didn’t have many people left, and couldn’t hold out long under the full-strength Armed Corps.

[I haven’t figured out the last few sentences, wrote and deleted, deleted and wrote, let me think about how to adjust, mainly about the breakpoint, didn’t handle it well, it’s quite frustrating, the recent small plot has been a bit confusing for me, my mind can’t keep up, wait, give me two minutes, the big plot is fine, it’s just these one or two segments of small plot, often interspersed with mistakes.]
