Chapter 1247: Chapter 421: Misjudgment (Part 3)

However, it was evident that in the rush, this slightly frail arm couldn’t exert its full force.

”Squelch!”

Ailida’s long battle blade flashed coldly and instantly broke through the defense of the shield of blood and sliced through the dagger held by the fourth arm, penetrating directly into Pearce’s back.

Fortunately, Pearce managed to make a slight movement; otherwise, the battle blade would have cut right into his spine.

If that happened, no matter how strong, the outcome would be instant death!

The intense pain from his back caused Pearce to groan immediately, severing the third arm that was being restrained by Rein, and he quickly stumbled away using some explosive secret technique.

Still, he couldn’t understand what just happened?

It wasn’t until he glanced at Ailida, who was attacking him, that Pearce realized what was going on.

He pointed a trembling finger, looking astonished, and said: ”You Secret Snake Sect... have you allied with the Empire?!”

”Attacking us Limb Attachment Church!”

This scene naturally stunned Baldwin, the captain of the Military Department, who had just swallowed a Burst Potion.

He had just tilted his head back to drink the highly impactful Burst Potion when he witnessed this scene.

This left Baldwin standing there dumbfounded!

It wasn’t really Areda’s fault, since her own sister launched the attack, she couldn’t preemptively warn the nearby Lord Baldwin.

If Pearce, the ’Multi-Armed,’ heard it, wouldn’t it put her sister in danger?

Of course, now that the situation is settled, she can naturally give a reminder.

”Sir, both of us are actually followers of Lord Rein.” Sister Areda said apologetically to Baldwin, who just took the potion.

”You... no, both of you... are followers of Lord Rein?”

Baldwin’s eyes widened, mouth slightly agape, as he looked at Rein and then at the two women, still wearing a look of disbelief.

”Yes, shortly after entering the Secret Realm, we encountered Lord Rein and became his followers.” Areda, not able to elaborate on the details, simply said.

”But this...” For a moment, Baldwin, the captain of the Military Department, stammered, trying to express something but not knowing how.

His mind was a bit chaotic.

What is going on?

The top Legendary Strongman of the Cult, the ’Twin Snakes’ Areda sisters became followers of Lord Rein...

...

Center of the arena.

As for Pearce’s question, naturally, no one paid attention.

Instead, what greeted him was Sister Areda’s witchcraft, ’Shadow’s Grasp.’

Two shadowy hands immediately grasped Pearce’s legs, meanwhile, Rein had already charged from the front, delivering a slash at Pearce!

A matter of life and death!

Pearce’s face suddenly became increasingly fierce, his blood surged wildly, muscles expanded, and he immediately broke free from the shadowy hands at his feet, simultaneously using both hands to cross swords and block Rein’s slash!

”Clang!!!”

Pearce was directly chopped and sent flying over ten meters, crashing into the ground with a bang, half of his body embedded into the dirt.

But it wasn’t over, Ailida’s graceful figure swayed, appearing beside Pearce who had just gotten up, her battle blade spun a dazzling arc in the air, swiftly slashing towards Pearce.

Just hit hard by Rein, Pearce sensed a flash of light from his side instinctively raised his right hand to block, and with a flash of silver arc, his right hand was slashed off with a ’swish.’

”Ah!!!”

Accompanied by a scream, with a ’plop,’ Pearce’s right hand dropped to the ground, fingers reflexively curling as if trying to grasp something.

Although the Areda sisters had just said they had recently become followers of Rein, Baldwin, standing nearby, felt that the coordination among the three was seamless.

He had just taken the potion, intending to join the attack.

But he remained standing in place for several seconds without moving because he suddenly realized he wouldn’t have been able to intervene.

It was as if they were a loving couple, and him stepping in would be like a third party, no, a fourth party intruding!

From the fighting synergy of Rein and the two women, even a well-trained special combat squad could hardly do better.

In less than ten seconds, they had brought the top strongman of the Limb Attachment Cult, ’Multi-Armed’ Pearce, to this miserable state.

”Whoosh!”

However, the amputated Pearce experienced a sudden burst of energy, his figure leaping towards a nearby slain adolescent Green Dragon.

This young Green Dragon was killed by Pearce right after he entered the Secret Realm, as part of his mission to slay the young Dragon as much as possible.

With a sword flash from his left hand, Pearce chopped off the Green Dragon’s head, immediately inserting his severed right hand into the incision beneath the dragon’s neck.

The next second, mist of blood permeated the junction, energy surged!

Suddenly, the eyes on the dead dragon’s head snapped open!

Pearce instantly transformed into a grotesque, bloody figure with a dragon head for a right hand and wielding a Dual-Handed Greatsword with his left!
