Chapter 1230: Chapter 415: Barnes’s Hesitation (2)

Suddenly, the Dual-Handed Greatsword in Rein’s hand bizarrely lengthened by twenty centimeters.

This caused Ailida’s beautiful eyes to widen in astonishment, her expression utterly shocked!

Because she had just calculated that at this moment, when she flashed away, Rein’s Greatsword absolutely couldn’t slash her, but the sword suddenly lengthened by twenty centimeters, which was terrifying.

The extra twenty centimeters could easily slash through her slender waist, or even… possibly cut her in half!

“Sister!” Ailida’s heart instantly let out a sharp scream!

In an instant, Rein only felt Ailida’s figure before him blur, and then her sister Areda, enveloped in a Double Witchcraft Shield, took her place in front of Rein.

Rein’s eyes squinted, secretly thinking: “As expected, Twin Shift!”

“Pfft!”

However, Rein’s movements did not stop at all, and the Greatsword flashed with a silver Sharpness Technique light, cutting into Areda’s Double Shield like a hot knife through butter.

“Ah!!!”

Just then, Areda’s pretty face suddenly twisted in a grimace, letting out a high-pitched shriek as a powerful Shadow Energy Element shockwave erupted from her and swept across the surroundings!

“Boom!!!”

Rein immediately placed the Greatsword horizontally in front of his chest, standing firm like a rock, resisting the opponent’s attack!

Meanwhile, Areda took advantage of the counterforce from the witchcraft Shadow Impact to instantly widen the gap between her and Rein.

However, her heaving chest indicated that her current mood was far from calm.

Having swapped positions, the distant younger sister Ailida was still in shock, but as if she had thought of something, she pointed her battle blade at Rein, her voice trembling.

“You… your innate wizardry is actually the Metal Morphing Spell?!”

Rein merely smiled slightly without saying anything.

Indeed, when an enemy gets strong enough, unless he doesn’t use the Metal Morphing Spell, what else could instantly morph a weapon in 0.1 second but innate wizardry?

In less than half a minute of exchanging blows, the two were forced to use their special talent abilities, something almost unheard of.

The two sisters now wore expressions of doubt and curiosity, sizing Rein up as if reassessing his combat power.

“Sister, when you’re entangled in battle, don’t get too close. It’s so rare for someone to have the Metal Morphing Spell as their innate wizardry…”

“Yes, sister, this Rein is truly tricky. It’s not for nothing that so many within the sect have died at his hands.”

After the exchange, Rein had also grasped the two women’s combat prowess.

First, their cooperation was the most seamless he had ever seen.

Rein guessed they might have some kind of mental connection; otherwise, it’s unlikely they could achieve such flawless coordination!

Just when he repelled the younger sister and tried to chase, the sister’s witchcraft just happened to interrupt his attack rhythm.

If it were just once or twice, it might be due to being well-trained, but every time like this, it was uncanny.

Rein glanced at the modified Hellfire Demon Statues in the distant sinkhole, wondering if he should activate the statues during the battle break.

But the issue was, just with the speed and attack power of the younger sister Ailida, the two statues might not be able to touch her shadow, and furthermore, the statues’ defensive power couldn’t withstand the strikes of the opponent’s blade, likely getting destroyed quickly, which might backfire.

Moreover, his Hellfire Demon Statues weren’t designed to deal with Legendary Peak level opponents, unless they self-destruct!

“Since it’s so, then it must be done this way.” Rein immediately decided in his heart.

With a flash of his figure, Rein rapidly charged towards the older sister Areda.

Seeing this, the younger sister Ailida lightly tapped the ground with her long legs, her figure suddenly disappearing from the original spot, and appearing to Rein’s left rear in the next second, with her battle blade swirling a flower of blades, slashing horizontally towards Rein’s waist.

“Serpent Hair!”

The older sister Areda then opened her eyes wide, and the hair on the back of her head instantly transformed into hundreds of thousands of black fine snakes, rushing towards Rein like a black torrent.

Same Serpent Hair, Areda’s effect was evidently different from the Edmondo Rein had crossed hands with before.

A bewildered, boar-like Secret Realm creature suddenly darted between Areda and Rein, only to be struck by a black fine snake.

“Boom!”

The black fine snake surprisingly exploded, instantly blasting the boar into a bloody mess, crashing heavily to the side, twitching on the verge of death.

The power was evident!

Faced with the pincer attack of the two sisters, Rein’s body suddenly swelled, Dragon Scale faintly appearing, his height soaring to five meters, entering the Bloodline Transformation First Stage — Dragon-man Warrior Form.

Feeling the immense strength within his body, Rein at this moment didn’t feel the Secret Realm’s rejection of him.

It indicated that his power had not yet reached the upper limit that the Secret Realm could accommodate.

Rein didn’t even use the greatsword, just a sharp dragon claw, and with a heavy slap against Ailida’s incoming battle blade, unleashed an even stronger tremendous force than before, sending Ailida flying.

At the same time, Rein pointed at the serpent-haired torrent coming straight at him:

“Metal Morphing Spell!”

“Cutting Net!”

“Sharpness Technique!”

“Witchcraft Killing Move: Multiple Cutting Net!”

Three densely arranged metallic nets, emitting a silver glow, suddenly appeared in front of Rein and rushed toward the serpent-haired torrent.

Normally, with the liquification level of a killing move, it would be absolutely impossible to compete against Areda’s ‘Exploding Serpent Hair’, its power being far inferior. Even if Rein had strong metal affinity, it would still be quite lacking.

But Rein never intended to win with this move!

“Boom!”

The metal giant net and serpent hair immediately caused a massive explosion, filling the scene with dust!

With the intense explosion, Rein vanished from the spot!

…

Meanwhile.

Not far from there, on Flame Mountain.

In a pitch-black rocky area, a more than ten-meter-long adolescent red dragon lay in a pool of blood, but its body was strange, with a large portion having the semi-transparent frosted glass texture.

It seemed to be infected by some external energy.

This was precisely due to an infection by void energy, causing the adolescent red dragon’s temperament to greatly change.

And at this moment, a human figure stood beside the dying red dragon, extracting something.

If Rein were present, he would instantly recognize that the person using the thick syringe to extract the red dragon’s blood essence was none other than Barnes, the strongest among the three members of the Dragon Scale Brotherhood.

“Ugh!”

While extracting, Barnes spat out the residual blood in his mouth.

“Damn! This dragon infected by void energy hasn’t weakened but rather grown stronger, making it difficult to handle.” Barnes muttered to himself.

If viewed from the front, one would see several large claw marks on Barnes’ chest armor and shoulder armor, indicating he had just undergone a fierce battle.

In fact, from the transmission’s landing point, Barnes was initially sent to Flame Mountain, which he was quite satisfied with.

But before he could react, the sky suddenly darkened, and he was attacked by this red dragon infected by void energy.

Just earlier, he had managed to kill the red dragon by unleashing the second stage bloodline transformation.

“Reagan and Bronson currently only have the first stage transformation, likely unable to handle such a dragon infected by void energy.”

“However, as agreed, once they enter the secret realm, they will immediately converge toward him.”

Thinking of this, Barnes took out the rhombus-shaped positioning crystal Buchanan had given to the three of them and checked it.

“Hmm, not far, about half an hour or so, they should reach me.”

Barnes was not in a hurry, as he was now dealing with the blood essence of the adolescent giant dragon.

One of his goals this time was the bloodline essence of the void wyrm.

However, this particular dragon hadn’t fully transformed and didn’t meet the standard, but still worth collecting.

“Huh? This intense metal series energy particle fluctuation… feels somewhat familiar!”

“This… this is Rein in battle!” As if realizing something, Barnes’ expression turned both surprised and delighted!

He immediately stood up, his figure flickered, and he leapt onto a nearby towering boulder, overlooking the western mountain valley from the mountainside.

Vaguely, he saw the dust after some intense explosion in the forest far away.

For a moment, Barnes appeared contemplative, his eyes flickering.

He was hesitating, unsure whether he should head down now or wait for Reagan and Bronson.

It was clear that Rein had encountered an enemy and was engaged in a fierce battle.

If the enemy was strong enough and Rein suffered severe injuries, he could capitalize on it.

But the problem was, if the enemy was easily killed by Rein, then heading down might…
