Chapter 1236: Chapter 417: Five Against One, Part 2

In just a few seconds, a robust Scythe Claw Dragon transformed into a gaunt figure, while the Areda sisters rolled their eyes in satisfaction.

Their faces showed expressions of extreme enjoyment!

The sea-bowl-sized wounds on their abdomens were beginning to heal at high speed!

It turned out that the two were treating the ferocious Scythe Claw Dragon group as a ’Blood Meal,’ rapidly devouring their essence and recovering.

In just over ten seconds, all wounds on the two women were fully healed, their abdomens restored to their white, smooth state, leaving no trace of the previous injuries.

...

Not far away.

”Boom!!!”

Red dragon-man Barnes had once again been heavily knocked away, smashing through seven or eight large trees that would take two people to encircle.

Being knocked away left Barnes a bit bewildered!

He hadn’t anticipated that even after initiating the First Stage Transformation, he couldn’t withstand a minute against Rein!

This left him a bit baffled.

Typically, after initiating the Dragon-man Transformation, one relies on close-quarter combat skills, like those involving fists, claws, legs, and other hand-to-hand techniques.

Though he had learned special Extraordinary Battle Techniques from the Dragon Scale Brotherhood, what was up with this Rein?

Ignoring the formidable body strength and high defense, the power delivered by claws and fists clearly revealed mastery of the Secret Technique level, not just ordinary proficiency.

”Damn, it’s really freaky!”

”Don’t tell me I have to use that last move now?!”

”But what else can I do? Reagan and Bronson still need two more minutes at the fastest to arrive!”

...

Seeing Barnes knocked away again, sister Areda made a decision:

”Sister, we need to fuse right away. This newcomer doesn’t seem to be a match for Rein. However, Rein has substantially drained his physical strength. This is a great opportunity to counterattack!”

”Mm!” Sister Ailida nodded heavily.

Having just been severely beaten, with a chance for revenge, they naturally wanted to seize it!

As for why that person sought out Rein, they had no interest in knowing and didn’t care to know.

They moved their slim figures together swiftly, serpent scales emerging, then merging like candles into one as they elongated and adjusted.

Soon, the Areda sisters transformed into a bizarre form about three and a half meters tall, with four arms and a lovely face on the front and back.

This was the result of the Secret Skill fusion of the Areda sisters.

Upon fusion, each of their four arms wielded a curved blade, originating from the two war blades of sister Ailida.

In fact, the handles of the two long war blades could be disassembled, forming the current four curved blades.

At this moment, as Rein was preparing to deliver a heavy blow to Barnes, he suddenly sensed something, turned his head in the direction of the Areda sisters, immediately spotting the bizarre humanoid figure post-fusion.

Barnes, getting up from the ground, was also bewildered, and when he followed Rein’s gaze, he was stunned too.

He hadn’t considered that although his original intent was to take down Rein first, then the two women, this different sequence would lead to such an outcome.

”Huh? Thankfully, I didn’t kill those two women first, otherwise I’d have to risk my life now!”

”Luckily, it’s apparent that the two women of the Secret Snake Sect aren’t pushovers and could recover to rejoin the battle again.”

The four-armed woman, formed from the Areda sisters’ fusion, suddenly spun like a top with four curved blades in hand.

Instantly, a black tornado formed, and in the next second, hundreds, thousands of silver arcs shaped like Wind Blades burst from the tornado, overwhelming Rein!

Meanwhile, Barnes regulated his breath slightly, then charged towards Rein once more.

Evidently, Barnes intended to pin Rein down with attacks from both sides!

...

Meanwhile.

In the forests several kilometers to the north and south respectively, two strong males detected the sounds of battle ahead.

The two were none other than Reagan and Bronson.

Despite not being together, upon observing from afar and checking their locator crystals, both promptly determined that one of the combatants was surely their boss Barnes.

So, initially not moving at full speed, the two instantly rushed towards the battleground.

In less than a minute, Reagan and Bronson arrived at the scene, one from the south and the other from the north.

Seeing the scene before them, they couldn’t help but change their expressions, greatly taken aback!

Three non-human monsters were fiercely battling each other. The two Dragon-men were identifiable at first glance; one was their boss Barnes, the other was Rein.

But who—or what—was this three-and-a-half-meter-tall woman with four arms and a pretty face?

How was she aiding their boss in attacking Rein?

No, not attacking, but assisting in defense!

The dark gray Dragon-man Rein, point-blank punched Barnes heavily in the stomach, flicked around like lightning, and sent the four-armed woman hurtling swiftly with a kick.

They both rolled several times on the ground before quickly getting up and launching at Rein once more!

Reagan and Bronson exchanged a glance, promptly discarding their baggage and decisively joining the battle.

”Roar!”

”Roar!!”

With two consecutive roars, both shapeshifted together, as Reagan and Bronson, also with Red Dragon Bloodline, transformed into forms nearly identical to Barnes’s.
