Chapter 1225: Chapter 414: Twin Shift

At this moment, the command hall on the second floor of the Star Mage Platform was bustling.

The recent intense energy fluctuations naturally startled everyone present.

“Marshal, should we immediately send Lord Huntington?” General Augustus asked gravely.

Alfred was staring at the projection of the Imperial City Tamriel on the wall, where a deep red light was emitting circles of red energy waves by Falling Star Lake.

One by one, orange light points were appearing with Imperial City Tamriel at the center.

These orange light points were irregularly distributed over a hundred miles outside the suburbs of the Imperial City, with three points to the west and only one to the north.

The above projection effect relied on the extensive monitoring witch array covering both the Imperial City Tamriel and its suburbs.

The monitoring witch array could display in real-time on the projection according to the intensity of the energy fluctuations, differentiated by colors.

Of course, reported and registered Legendary Strongmen with exclusive signatures were not monitored; only unknown signatures or combat energy fluctuations were monitored.

Orange indicates the opponent’s energy fluctuation has reached the Legendary Peak.

Red indicates the opponent’s energy fluctuation has reached the Epic Level!

Deep red naturally means Strong Epic Level!

Regarding Augustus’s suggestion, Alfred thought for a moment and shook his head:

“No, let’s wait a bit. Lord Huntington’s duty is to guard the Star Mage Platform.”

“Augustus, contact the Imperial Guard to handle it, and immediately report the situation to the Royal Family.”

…

Orders were issued one by one in an orderly manner from Alfred’s mouth.

The scene, initially somewhat chaotic, gradually calmed down.

Alfred understood that his duty this time was to command operations in the Secret Realm, not the safety of the Imperial City, which was handled by respective personnel.

Huntington, as his only readily deployable Epic Level strongman, would not be used unless in an emergency.

At this moment, an elderly voice sounded at the command hall’s entrance:

“Alfred, Augustus, I can sense that a Divine avatar has descended. The opponent broke through the transmission path we connected to the Secret Realm with great power.”

The speaker was none other than Grand Astromancer Dalain.

“What!” Marshal Alfred, rarely shocked, stood up quickly.

If an attack on the Imperial City wouldn’t worry him, what Grand Astromancer Dalain just said truly shocked him.

Because the defense of the Imperial City was the responsibility of his colleagues, while the battle within the Secret Realm was his to command.

“Lord Dalain, do you mean the Divine avatar directly entered the Dragon Valley Secret Realm?” Augustus asked anxiously alongside.

Grand Astromancer Dalain shook his head: “No, even a Divine Being cannot defy the power of laws.”

“I suspect the opponent broke through the transmission path to send underlings of Legendary Level cultists into the Secret Realm to wreak havoc.”

Alfred calmed his emotions, thought for a moment, and nodded: “I agree with Lord Dalain on this point. The opponent’s goal is likely the young giant dragons within the Secret Realm, aiming to create a gap!”

The Dragan Empire is founded on dragons, so a gap in dragons is akin to severing the Empire’s roots…

“Lord Dalain, can you now use astrology to check the situation within the Secret Realm?” Augustus asked humbly.

“The transmission path is interfered; the Secret Realm has experienced energy disturbances. Until the disturbance calms down, I cannot check.” Grand Astromancer Dalain shook his head and said.

“This…”

“Sword Bearers, have you recently monitored the movements of cultist Legendary Level strongmen?” Dalain asked.

“Yes, Lord Dalain, the Secret Snake Sect’s ‘Twin Snakes,’ and the Black Flame Cult…” Major General Tatia promptly reported.

At this time, Grand Astromancer Dalain glanced at the projection on the wall, saying: “If the aforementioned personnel entered the Secret Realm, that’s eight in total, probably with more we don’t know about.”

“I suggest we inform the personnel within the Secret Realm to be wary of cultists present.”

“Secondly, quickly block this transmission path.”

“Tatia, immediately transmit the situation to all personnel within the Secret Realm, warning them to be cautious.” Marshal Alfred ordered solemnly.

“Constantly contact the captains of the three teams, informing me of any news at once.”

Although the personnel dispatched this time were the top strongmen of the Empire at the Legendary Level, considering that the cult came prepared, they would undoubtedly be challenging to confront.

Moreover, he was most worried about the three ‘Rift Closers.’ If they fell into the cult’s hands, it would be troublesome.

“Yes, sir!” Tatia saluted and quickly turned away.

…

Several minutes earlier.

Suburbs of Imperial City Tamriel, in a manor in Tafulin Town.

The manor’s two-story main building suddenly emitted intense energy fluctuations, seemingly attempting to conceal it, but such a strong fluctuation couldn’t be hidden by an ordinary witch array.

Additionally, it seemed the owner didn’t intend to conceal it much.

In the main building’s basement, a group of people in black robes surrounded two in gray robes, conducting some witchcraft ritual.

On the basement floor, there was a witch array glowing green with complex lines flickering.
