Chapter 1039: Battle for the Top!

Falling from that height caused severe damage to both parties. But since one was voluntary and the second was forced to fall, the Shadow King Wyrm was clearly the one with the most injuries.

One of its wings seemed to be broken, as the wyrm couldnʼt even move it without roaring in pain.

Riddley looked at Fidel in surprise since when he became so daring to win. The Shadow Hunter strugglingly stood up and struck the wyrm.

Its claws were engulfed in dark light, and it slashed. The wyrm instinctively defended itself, but it was like a paper.

Time flew by, and around thirty seconds later, the battle finally came to an end.

The Shadow Hunter stood dumbfounded as the wyrm exploded into light particles. The hunter had thought that a defeat from him would tame the wyrmʼs arrogance to some extent. But it found that it was kidding itself when it had the thought.

At the last moment, the wyrmʼs eyes were filled with pride and also had a hint of mockery toward the hunter.

The hunter then looked at its owner and saw the same expression in his eyes while looking toward Riddley. And Riddley looked at her husband the same way it did toward its opponent.

The Shadow Hunter couldnʼt help but mull over how great it would have been if she were his owner rather than Fidel.

The Shadow King Wyrm was a copy of Fidel, while his character matched Riddleyʼs. It was as if fate was playing games with them.

The next moment, the light particles gathered together to form the card, which flew into Riddleyʼs hands.

Not long after, a white light covered her. It disappeared as quickly as it had appeared, and with it, Riddley also left the arena.

She found herself back in the seating area, but there was a red light surrounding her. Since there were three rewards, she had another battle left with whoever would lose in the next fight.

On the projection above the arena, the numbers for the next battle appeared.

The following moment, William and Elle appeared in the arena to fight for the second spot in the finals.

William summoned the beast, and the next moment, the Suleon emerged in the arena. At the same time, Elleʼs beast also appeared.

Inside the store, the details of the two beasts appeared on the screen one after another.

Ding!

The bell rang in the arena, announcing the start of the battle.

Roar!

The Suleon roared at its opponent and charged at it. It was a competitive beast and loved to combat, so it didnʼt show any mercy to its opponent despite Elle being friends with it.

The Sky Serpent knew firsthand the frightening combat power of the Suleon, so it didnʼt dare to face the attack directly. At that moment, Elleʼs commands also came.

The next moment, a shade spread across the arena as purple clouds appeared in the sky. It then took the sky and swam in the purple cloud since it was its playground.

Elle knew how dangerous the Suleon was in the presence of the sun, so she first decided to cut off direct contact between the sun and the ground.

The Suleon released a human-like scoff at its opponentʼs tactics.

Roar!

It released a roar, shaking every Divine Transformation cultivator in the store other than Aakesh and Lily.

Hiss!

The Sky Serpent cried out in pain since it wasnʼt a simple roar. At that moment, its consciousness was burning.

Elle frowned and commanded another set of instructions to her beast.

The rate at which the cloud released poisonous mist increased unprecedentedly, and at the same time, it started raining.

Every drop of rain was no less than a dangerous acid, as wherever the raindrop fell, it melted the ground.

Even for the Suleon, dodging countless drops of rain wasnʼt possible, so it tried to fight the attack head-on.

It opened its mouth, and the next moment, a radiant energy bomb started to form at the tip. In no time, it had grown to the same size as the Suleonʼs head.

The Suleon then released its control, and the bomb flew toward its opponent, tearing through the air.

The Sky Serpent, trying to douse the fire in its consciousness, hurriedly moved away.

BOOM!

The Suleon had no intention to attack the serpent in the first place. The explosion and its shockwave cleared the poisonous cloud. As the sunlight fell on the Suleon, every pore in its body cheered while the raindrops began to disintegrate when it was near its skin.

The Suleonʼs already bright yellow eyes glowed even further as the heat around the area began to grow at a crazy rate. Even the phenomenon of the air boiling appeared.

Hiss!

The Sky Serpent cried out in pain as the golden fire burning its consciousness seemed to grow in intensity after the sudden change in the Suleon.

The Suleon then added some force to its feet and took a jump, directly appearing above the Sky Serpent. Its hands were like the hands of God as they slashed.

Cry!

The Sky Serpent cried out in pain, as even without the ability to manipulate golden fire, the Suleon was still a powerful beast due to its extremely strong Solar Physique.

The Suleon then opened its mouth and released a radiant beam. It pieced through the Sky Serpentʼs head in no time, incinerating its brain.

The next moment, the Sky Serpent exploded into light particles, and not long after, it flew into Elleʼs hands.

Elle seemed disappointed with the complete dominance of the Suleon in the battle, but since this battle showed many weaknesses of the Sky Serpent, it wasnʼt a complete loss.

Elle smiled and wished the best of luck to William as he returned to the seating area with a dark-golden light covering him.
