The First Store System

Chapter 1036: A Rare Mutant!

The next moment, a white light covered Fred, and soon after, he found himself back in the seating area with thirty-one other participants shrouded in a silver light.

The next moment, the number floating above everyoneʼs head disappeared, and soon, a new set of numbers starting from 1 and ending at 32 appeared.

Because the second round had an even number of participants, there would be no Elashas in this round.

The next second, the projection above the arena of battle came back with a new random set of matches. The first battle in the second round was going to be between numbers 7 and 23.

The next moment, white light covered the two participants, and soon they found themselves in the battle arena.

The two opponents summoned their beasts, and not long after, the bell rang, announcing the start of the first battle in the second round.

Time flew by, and around thirty minutes had gone by since the second round began.

On the projection above the battle arena, appeared the numbers 3 and 19. The next moment, a white light covered the participants, referring to these numbers, and they appeared on the ground.

Elasha took a deep breath, as it was going to be her first battle in the competition. Her opponent was someone who had handsomely won his victory in the last round, so Elasha knew the battle wasnʼt going to be easy for her.

Elasha then summoned the beast, and the next moment, her card exploded into light particles, forming the beast.

Inside the store, the screen showed the details of the majestic beast on the screen.

Price: Ten supreme Sacred stones.]

The crowd widened its eyes in shock when they saw the details on the screen. After looking at fifty-plus beast cards and beasts in each category, they understood the basic price gap between the qualities of the beasts.

It was the first time for the crowd to see a supreme quality beast costing ten supreme Sacred stones, since before that the highest beast out of the five and six they saw was around eighty thousand higher Sacred stones. But since their knowledge about the beast sold by the store was nothing, they didnʼt think much about it and focused on the screen.

On the screen stood a majestic creature. The White Vermilion Bird was a large bird with fiery red and white plumage. Its feathers were a brilliant white on its underbelly and wings, with a bright crimson red on its back, head, and tail. The feathers on its wings were long and sleek, and when it spread them out, they looked like a brilliant flame.

The White Vermillion Bird was only of supreme quality despite having the bloodline of a phoenix due to a failed mix. It was a mutant race when a female White Tiger and a male Vermillion Bird mated.

The White Tiger was in itself a Primordial race, while the Vermillion Bird was a direct descendant of the Phoenix race.

Hygars were also a failed race, but since they traced their bloodline to the Primordial Garuda and the Primordial Hydra, they were still able to qualify as an ultimate quality beast. But the White Vermillion Bird was the result of the interspecies mating of two Sacred Creators.

The fatherʼs blood dominated the bloodline of the son, making it a fire element user, but even then, it failed to learn all the skills. The two skills on the card were the only ones it could learn from its bloodline, making it a weaker member of the race. The trait wasnʼt particularly unique because it was, to some extent, shared by all creatures with a somewhat pure lineage to Phoenix.

(Only in terms of beasts descending from the Phoenixʼs bloodline.)

But since, due to these skills, it was still very strong at its cultivation rate, Elasha chose it, despite paying a fortune for ten supreme Sacred stones.

After appearing in the arena, the bird pecked its ownersʼ cheeks gently. It then looked at its opponent and released a piercing cry.

Ding!

The bell rang, and the battle began.

”Make me proud!” Elasha gave a simple command to the bird, as it was the birdʼs first battle, and she wanted it to do things on its own here.

Cry!

The White Vermillion Bird cried and charged. Its wings were straight like a ruler as it tore the wind apart.

The next moment, flame engulfed the birdʼs wings as it reached its opponent in no time.

Around a minute later, the battle came to an end, with the White Vermillion Bird being the winner.

The battle was handsomely won by it as it dominated its opponent, not giving it any chance to fight back. If not for the opponentʼs strong defense, the bird would have won in half time to what it took now.

Elasha had a wide smile spread across her face when the beast returned to the card and flew into her hands.
