The First Store System

Chapter 1013: Qi Roc!

Rubyʼs face had an ugly expression; despite getting a rare species, she only got a lesser quality beast. She then took a deep breath and suppressed the frustration in her heart.

She went ahead and placed the card in the slit right of the screen and then returned her focus to the screen.

The square light began to rotate at an unprecedented rate while there was a ”7” on top of the screen.

Five seconds passed, and the rotation stopped. A beast never seen by Ruby then appeared on the screen.

As Ruby gazed at the screen, she saw a flying creature that belonged to the Roc group, but it had features that were new to her. Since Rocs belonged to a strong group in the beastʼs group, her eyes were filled with anticipation this time.

Not long after, a card appeared out of thin air and flew into her hands.

Ruby seemed eager as she grabbed the card even before it could reach her, and then, without wasting even a moment, she stared at the details.

[Name: Qi Roc

The Qi Roc on the screen looked like other Rocs. It had black feathers that had a metallic sheen. Its eyes gleamed with golden light, radiating danger toward anyone who faced it.

Rubyʼs eyes expanded when she saw the quality. Everything stopped at that moment, as she finally had the quality she wanted.

Time flew by, and she finally reached the price section. Her heart skipped a beat when she saw the cost of the creature, but when she compared the skills, she found it to be an acceptable amount.

”I choose you!” Ruby said as she looked at the card.

A smile spread across her face as she turned around and left the room.

Aakesh was relaxing on his chair with his eyes closed when he heard the sound of footsteps approaching him.

”Store owner, please initiate the taming battle,” Ruby requested Aakesh immediately.

Aakesh nodded as he took the card from the girlʼs hands and initiated the process after tapping twice on the back of the card on the storefrontʼs pattern.

As soon as Ruby grabbed the card from Aakeshʼs hands, she found the view in front of her changing.

She was on the ground, while above her the Qi Roc with a wingspan of fifty meters was floating, and its eyes were aimed at her.

In the Sacred Dimension, there were different power systems, but the level names were the same for all levels. Ruby didnʼt belong to the Qi system. She belonged to the system of warriors, and she couldnʼt use the abundant Qi prevalent in the environment.

Time flew by, and minutes passed in a flash.

”Store owner, give me one Higher Store Card,” Ruby requested Aakesh after learning about the three store cards available in the store. At the same time, she pushed the stone toward him.

She only had one supreme Sacred stone, and she would never spend it on a card, so she decided to go for the Higher Store Card.

Aakesh nodded as he took the stone from her hands and threw it into the black hole pattern on the card machine. Time flew by, and a card appeared in Aakeshʼs hands after the entire process was over.

Tap! Tap! Tap!

Aakesh was relaxing on his chair. He opened his eyes after he heard the sound of footsteps. He turned in that way and saw a new customer entering the store.

***

Turin belonged to the Vurron race, and after hearing about the store from one of his good friends, he was here.

His eyes remained pensive since he also heard about the notorious character of the store owner from the people on Seventeenth Street after coming here. His steps struggled for a moment, but trusting his friend, they became stable, and he stepped inside.

The next moment, the view in front of Turin changed as the array blocking his senses stopped working on him. He couldnʼt help but look around twice after seeing the storeʼs novelty.

”Hello, store owner!” Turin greeted Aakesh. It wasnʼt tough for him to find the man as his features had become famous on Seventeenth Street.

Aakesh only nodded in response to the manʼs greeting and waited for him to ask about the storeʼs products.

Aakesh didnʼt have to wait or waste time chatting, as the next question asked Turin was about the storeʼs products.

”The store currently sells five products: Pills, Panagea, Weapons, Cultivation Arts, and beasts...”

Aakesh had answered this question so many times that he didnʼt even need to think anymore before answering, and he introduced all five products in one breath.

Turin had heard about the products from his friend, and he still couldnʼt stop himself from becoming shocked.

”Store owner, give me three pills each of every lesser level pill and every third-grade higher level pill,” Turin requested after the introduction.

Aakesh nodded and got up from his chair. He then went to the pill counter and took the pills out one by one, totaling forty-two lesser level pills and thirty higher level pills.

Aakesh returned to his chair and pushed the pills toward Turin, while also informing him of the total price.

Turin had already taken the amount out and he pushed it toward Aakesh.

After the sale of pills was complete, Turin didnʼt leave the store, but he went toward the cultivation arts room since there was a long wait for his turn to arrive in Panagea.
