Chapter 1035: Competition(4)

The Ice Queen looked surprised when it saw its skill being nullified in the presence of the golden glow. It then noticed that the golden aura was thinning, so it chased.

But Regal wasnʼt an unlimited trait, so the Ice Queen had no choice but to turn it off when the behemoth put enough distance between them.

The battle was only beginning, so the Golden Behemoth roared when it was at the end of the battle arena. It looked at Daniel with disappointment, as it didnʼt expect him to tell it to escape.

Daniel smiled wryly upon seeing the eyes of the Golden Behemoth. But since it was a battle and anything could happen, he ignored it and gave another command.

The Golden Behemoth also understood the importance of the battle, so it stopped sulking and did as commanded.

The next moment, hints of gold appeared in the sky. Fred looked at the sky with solemn eyes, and he also made his first command.

The Ice Queen didnʼt refuse the command and activated the skill, Winterʼs Embrace. The next moment, the temperature dropped to zero, turning it chilly. The defenses of the Ice Queen grew to a new height, and it activated the skill Ice Shield.

The next moment, a thick wall made of ice appeared around the Ice Queen.

The hint of gold in the sky became clear. It was a meteor made of gold. If it appeared in the mortal world, it would change their fate, but the gold had no value here, and there were several meteors with diameters of ten and more than ten meters in the sky.

Boom!

The first meteor crashed on the ground, creating a loud explosion. The Ice Shield around the Ice Queen remained undamaged, and then the second meteor crashed a few meters away from the last location, creating another pit.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The meteors crashed after one another, destroying the battle arena, but the ice shield around the Ice Queen saw no damage. It didnʼt let any meteor directly hit it, and the shockwave created from the crash wasnʼt enough to damage the shield. Inside the shield, the temperature had reached a dangerous level. If the Golden Behemoth were to be present, it would have frozen not only its body but also its soul.

The crowd inside the store couldnʼt understand what was going on as the Golden Behemoth stood silently without doing anything while the Ice Queen was defending against the meteor shower.

The Ice Queen suddenly sensed danger, and it looked at the behemoth, only to see a smile in its eyes.

Before the Ice Queen could decode what was going on, the last meteor hit. It was the largest and also extremely close to the queen, but it dodged in time, or so it thought.

When the Ice Queen thought it had traveled enough distance, it found the land beneath it moving with her.

Boom!

The next moment, the meteor hit right above her, cracking the ice shield. The Ice Queen immediately reinforced the shield, but the meteor was too strong for it to bear even then.

Roar!

At that moment, the Golden Behemoth roared and jumped into the arena, causing tremors all across the battle arena.

The tremor further intensified the damage to the shield.

”Forget defense! Use offense to match offense!”

Fred ordered as he grew calm. He wouldnʼt let the Ice Queen lose its first battle.

The Ice Queen accepted the command and activated the skill, Ice Wave.

The already low temperature around her further reinforced the skill as a wave of ice emerged and began to fight back against the meteor, slowly freezing it.

Roar!

The Golden Behemoth roared again and punched the ground, increasing the intensity of the tremors.

The ice shield around the Ice Queen disintegrated entirely, and the tremors hit the queen, shaking its footing.

”Who do you think will win?” Lily asked Aakesh as they were also watching the battle.

Aakesh didnʼt reply but only smiled. Lily scoffed after seeing such a reaction from Aakesh.

Her eyes then fell on the crowd, intently watching the battle.

”Should I make bets with them?” Lily asked Aakesh since she was getting bored with only watching battles.

”No-”

Aakesh was about to refuse, ”Only in the final of all three groups,” but then changed his mind and responded. There was no issue with betting as it wouldnʼt harm the store.

In the battle arena, the battle between the Ice Queen and the Golden Behemoth had been going on for several minutes now. Both sides look exhausted, as every attack was a killing strike from each of them.

”Use Furious Stomp!”

”Use Glacial Nova!”

Daniel and Fred gave commands to their beasts, respectively, since the battle couldnʼt go on any longer, or one of the two would lose by sheer exhaustion, and neither party wanted that.

A golden aura materialized around the behemoth and began to flow like smoke; it then all came to the creatureʼs legs. While the scene around the Ice Queen looked different. The temperature around her instantly dropped to absolute zero, and then the elements of ice began to come together, forming a wave of ice.

The battle arena shook as the behemoth stomped, creating a destructive shockwave. The ground cracked open as if the end of the world had come.

The wave of ice also blasted and struck the behemoth.

BOOM!

The next moment, a loud explosion rang in the area as the blast first turned the behemoth into an ice sculpture, and then it exploded.

The Ice Queenʼs condition was no better as the rubble of stones attacked her, crushing her lower body.

Fred felt a pang in his heart as he saw the scene. He wanted to rush and heal the Ice Queen, but there was an invisible wall blocking him.

Daniel had a disappointed smile, but soon it turned into a smile as this battle taught him many things about the Golden Behemoth.

The next moment, the ice particles, not visible to the naked eye, turned into light particles and gathered to form the card, which flew into Danielʼs hands.

The Ice Queen won the victory as it was still alive and not dead. The next moment, it also turned into a card and flew into Fredʼs hands.
