The First Store System

Chapter 1019: A New Day for the Store!

[Host, your meditation time has arrived!]

Aakesh was in the midst of a battle when the alert from the system rang in his head. He ignored it for the moment and maintained his focus on the fight.

Aakeshʼs opponent was a Level 302 creature, so the battle wasnʼt easy. It was a beast with quick reflexes, so whenever Aakesh slashed his sword, the creature would succeed in dodging.

Level 302 was the limit of what Aakesh could fight in Panagea for the moment, but some creatures were overwhelmingly strong at their levels, and the beast in front of Aakesh was one such, so the battle continued going downhill for him.

Whoosh!

Aakesh dodged the claw swipe and shot an arrow toward the creature.

The arrow was too quick for the creature to dodge even with its reflexes, so the next moment, a gray light covered its hands as it used them for protection.

The arrow had done what Aakesh wanted it to do—create some time for him. Aakesh jumped ahead with the sword in his hands and slashed at its head.

The creature skillfully dodged the strike, but unfortunately for it, Aakesh had expected it to dodge in the first place.

Puchi!

A knife was already waiting for the creatureʼs head, where it moved. The knife cut through its head like butter.

The sudden situation caused the creature to grow into a frenzy, but someone fighting with rage was never Aakeshʼs opponent. Aakesh no longer had to use the bow or knife and only fought with the sword.

Aakesh cut a different area of the creature with each strike, causing a fresh wound. As time passed, the creatureʼs movement began to dull, while the rage only grew instead of slowing.

Time flew by, and the battle finally came to an end as the ground beneath Aakeshʼs feet turned green from blood.

Because of his infinite endurance and intelligence, Aakesh felt nothing despite being in such a tiring battle for hours.

Since the alert sounded an hour ago, Aakesh found a safe place and then exited Pangea.

[Host, the sun is about to rise in Panagea!]

Aakesh was meditating when the systemʼs voice rang in his head. He got up from the mat after opening his eyes. Aakesh then placed the purer, lesser Sacred stone in the system space and called for the door to his room.

The sun rose on Thorr and nearby cities, dispersing the cover of darkness.

Aakesh opened the door of the store with the first ray of sunlight touching the ground. The familiar crowd welcomed his sight outside the store.

Aakesh didnʼt let them wait any longer, turned around, and returned to his chair while the crowd entered the store in a hurry.

When the first forty-eight customers entered inside, a golden, transparent light covered the group. Those who werenʼt in the group had their faces turned down in disappointment since they would have to wait six hours to enter Panagea.

Serine looked at the cardʼs details with excitement. Serineʼs cultivation was late Higher God, and she learned about the store from her good friend, Lina.

Like Lina, Serine also belonged to the Beast group of races, but she wasnʼt a Spectral Spider. She instead belonged to the falcon group of birds.

Looking at the card, Serine fell in love with it and decided to buy it. The sparrows were on a lower life level than the falcons in the group of flying beasts, but the Steel Sparrow was one of the royal beasts of the sparrow group.

Serine, who came from a normal group of falcons, couldnʼt complain about the low life level of the Steel Sparrow, as the beast in her hands was even more valuable in the royal class due to its characteristics of the Ancestorʼs Blessing.

The cost of one hundred supreme Sacred stones was steep for Serine, but since she liked the beast, she would buy it.

”The store currently sells five products in total: pills, weapons…” Aakesh was introducing the storeʼs products to a new customer.

”I want to enter Panagea,” The man requested after the introduction of the storeʼs products.

”You will need to wait around ten hours,” Aakesh responded while pointing at the sixty plus people waiting for their turn to arrive in Panagea.

The man nodded and decided to join the queue. There were hours of waiting, but unfortunately for the man, his financial capability didnʼt allow him to show interest in other products.

Not long after the man left, Serine exited the room and approached Aakesh with a card in her hands.

Aakesh also sensed her, so he didnʼt begin his relaxation session but waited for her.

Time flew by, and after what felt like an eternity to Serine, she returned back to the store.

Her eyes looked downtrodden as she failed to win the battle against the Steel Sparrow. The next moment, the card in her hands disappeared.

Tap! Tap! Tap!

Aakesh was relaxing on his chair when he heard the sound of footsteps coming from outside. He opened his eyes and found them to be familiar faces.
