The First Store System

Chapter 1033: Competition(2)

After the details of the Ethereal Elephant disappeared from the screen, the details of another gigantic beast appeared on the screen.

It was also an ultimate quality creature like the elephant, making the storeʼs customers get excited about the next battle.

Since it was the first ultimate versus ultimate battle, even other participants were excited. They couldnʼt see the details of the beast like the crowd inside the store, but they could feel the difference.

The feeling they got from the Shadow Hunter was the same as what they were getting from their two current opponents on the battlefield.

Fidel, who was shrouded in silver light, looked at one of the opponents with quite an intensity. He prayed for that opponent to win, as it was none other than his wife, Ridley.

Riddley had become like an uncrossable moat for him, so he wanted the Shadow Hunter to avenge him and beat the Shadow King Wyrm.

Riddleyʼs eyes were majestic as she saw the Ethereal Elephant. Her eyes then fell on the owner of the creature and found him to be only a Supreme God.

Ding!

The bell rang, announcing the start of the seventh round.

The Shadow King Wyrm immediately took flight and looked down on the Ethereal Elephant. The wyrmʼs eyes had a hint of ridicule, as it liked to make fun of its opponents.

The elephant raised its trunk and trumpeted, clearly provoked by the attitude of the wyrm. The next moment, it raised its front feet and hit the ground, shaking the entire battlefield. Even the sky shook at the anger of the elephant.

The wyrm shook slightly, but it controlled its flight, and the ridicule in its eyes got even bigger.

Snort!

The wyrm thought of chiding its opponent further when he heard a familiar snort. Its face changed, and soon its eyes returned to normal, becoming serious for the battle.

”Use Shadow Domination!”

A command rang in the wyrmʼs head. Riddley decided to end the battle quickly, as it wasnʼt in her advantage to let the battle go on for long.

ROAR!

The Shadow King Wyrm roared in majesty, and its eyes turned completely dark. At that moment, the wyrm seemed to be a God on the battlefield, as even the air around it began to flow in reverse, aiding its movement.

The elephantʼs eyes turned blank, but it regained its composure quickly. The Ethereal Elephant was also a ruler race of the beast group, so how could it let itself do the bidding of others?

”Use Spirit Blast!”

The elephant followed the command of its owner, and soon, an ethereal energy ball began to gather at the center of the tip of its tusks.

The energy ball seemed to be the same as its skin, made of iridescent mist.

”Use Shadow Shift…”

Riddley gave the next set of instructions to the wyrm, and the wyrm followed them.

It suddenly disappeared into its shadows, and the next moment, the elephantʼs shadows turned into the wyrmʼs shadows.

The elephant sensed the sudden change, and it released the blast at its shadow.

The wyrmʼs shadow suddenly disappeared from the ground, and it appeared in front of the elephant, which was impossible given the way the sun was, but the creature didnʼt have the title of Shadow King for no reason.

The next moment, several black energy lines began to emerge from the shadow and then began to tie themselves around the elephant.

”Use Trample!”

The elephant struggled and made a charge, hitting the shadow underneath it. The shadow seemed to come alive as it attempted to dodge, but being in such close proximity to the elephant came with its disadvantages.

Roar!

The next moment, a roar rang out in the area as the number of black lines suddenly grew severalfold. The shadow beneath the elephant grew dim.

The elephant tried to struggle to free itself from the binding, but the sheer number of lines made its attempts futile.

Suddenly, the shadow disappeared as the Shadow King Wyrm appeared right above the elephant.

It then opened its mouth, and a dark energy ball began to gather at the tip.

The energy ball suddenly exploded, releasing a beam of high destructive capability.

”Use Ethereal Form!”

The elephant immediately activated the skill; the next moment, the black lines binding it began to pass through it, while the beam had the same result.

But the beam was clearly not an ordinary shadow attack, as it harmed the elephant even in its ethereal form.

Roar!

The elephant roared in pain, as when it deactivated the skill, there was a see-through hole, leaking blood.

The elephantʼs eyes turned red from pain and anger.

”Use Aura of Calm!”

At that moment, the voice of its owner rang in its head, taking it back from the brink of sanity. The elephant activated the skill, and soon its mind returned to calm.

Riddley frowned upon seeing her tactic fail. Since neither party knew anything about the skills of the other party, the battle wasnʼt going to be easy.

”Use Shadow Summoning, and then use Shadow Nova to end the battle at the right time!”

Riddleyʼs voice rang in the wyrmʼs head. Its eyes were also solemn since the battle had gone on for longer than it wanted. It clearly couldnʼt defeat its opponent in the same time as the Shadow Hunter did, even though it wasnʼt seriously fighting.

As for the level of the opponent, such things didnʼt matter to it. As long as its strength was stronger, it should win.

Following the commands from its owner, it activated the skill, ”Shadow Summoning.” The next moment, its energy storage began to dim as a portal emerged above its head.

The next moment, a creature, whose appearance couldnʼt be seen clearly stepped out of the portal. It was a flying creature, so it activated a long-range attacking skill, using its flight to benefit itself.

”Use Spectral Trunk!” The elephantʼs ownerʼs eyes turned solemn, and he commanded.

The next moment, the trunk of the elephant turned ghostly, and it began to extend. Soon it clashed with the coming skill, destroying it, and then it hit the creature in the sky.

Boom!

The dark creature crashed to the ground, and it was an instant kill.

Boom!

Another sound of explosion rang in the area as a wave of Dark Energy swept the battlefield, including the elephant.
