The First Store System

Chapter 1024: The Galdari and Sylvanor(2)

”Where did you even find the Heartwood Stone?” Aakesh asked, not caring about Galdariʼs expression.

The Heartwood Stone was an extremely rare product that was one of the natural creations of the Multiverse. The stone had the ability to endow the forest or mountain with a powerful spirit that would accelerate the growth of the Galdari or Sylvanor, depending on who owned it.

There are only a few written sources of the presence of the Heartwood Stone, so even Aakesh was surprised by the luck of these two to come across such an item.

Orek looked shocked and frightened by Aakeshʼs knowledge. With just one reaction, he laid out the entire situation that had played out between him and Elwynn.

Despite being such powerful races that had Sacred Creators at their helm, neither of the two races had a Heartwood Stone in the Sacred Dimension.

Both of them found the stones at the same time, so neither of them could claim ownership. If any of the others had found it first and taken it, then the situation would have never reached this stage. Even if it was Elwynn who took the stone, Orek would have accepted the fact.

But since both of them found it at the same time, fate couldnʼt choose a winner between the two races. So now, it was their duty to select the winner.

The battle location for the two is trillions of light years away from the store, but their battle was so destructive that it completely broke the fabric of space and caused a space storm. The space storm then brought the two here, where they met the store owner.

The Heartwood Stone was currently in two pieces, and both Orek and Elwynn had one part, so neither of them had the full stone.

After hearing Aakeshʼs question, Orek decided to leave the store and run away, as he didnʼt want to let the stone fall into other peopleʼs hands.

Since Elwynn was lying unconscious in the store, Aakesh already had Elwynnʼs half of the stone under his control.

Aakesh didnʼt expect Orek to try to run away from the store right after his question, but since the Heartwood Stone excited him, he wanted it.

Since Aakesh was a store owner, he needed to be fair to both parties, himself and the seller. But first, if he wanted to do the deal, he needed to stop Orek from leaving.

Since it was what Aakesh wanted, not the system, the system only acted after Aakesh requested.

[Host, you canʼt use force to make them part of the deal. The system wouldnʼt help you!]

At the same time, the system warned Aakesh. Aakesh nodded since he had never thought of forcing the sale.

He only wanted the Heartwood stone, as it was extremely rare in the Multiverse. He wasnʼt like the Galdari and Sylvanor in that he needed it to accelerate his growth.

”Why are you in such a hurry?” Aakesh said as Orek found himself out of control and returned to Aakesh, only stopping one meter away from him.

Aakesh then requested the system to heal Elwynn. Since what Aakesh asked was within the bounds of the rules set for the store, the system acted, and a green light covered the unconscious Elwynn.

”What do you guys think about trading the Heartwood Stone with me?” Aakesh asked. His face wasnʼt indifferent, but there was a faint smile since he was making a deal.

Both Elwynn and Orek looked at each other. They were cold to one another, but anyone could also see the helplessness in their eyes.

Elwynn was grateful to Aakesh for healing him. He wouldnʼt even think twice even if Aakesh wanted him to give up his life for the favor, but the Heartwood Stone was something more valuable than his life or even the leader of the Sylvanors.

”I am not here to force the deal on you. Our trade will be fair, and the contract will be signed in the presence of the Cosmos Contract Beast,” Aakesh stated since before beginning the trade, he wanted the other side to calm down. He had no intention of being unfair just because of a Heartwood Stone.

”Both of you had half of the Heartwood Stone, so the deal will include both of you. Letʼs begin,” Aakesh added since he didnʼt have all day to spend on it. He was only doing it because there was no new customer in sight.

”You are a forest dweller, so I will trade with you items that will help you. If you want, we can also trade items that will help your entire race, like the stone.

Itʼs up to you to choose which way you want to go.”

Given that he was the first of the two to enter the shop, Aakesh turned to face Elwynn and said.

The Heartwood Stone was an auxiliary item that contributed most to the collective rather than the individual, so Aakesh gave both options to Elwynn. He then turned around and gave the same choice to Orek.

Orek and Elwynn werenʼt interested in being part of the trade, but since they had no choice, they decided to go ahead. The dangerous feeling that made Orekʼs body out of his control was still fresh.

”Items that will help Sylvanors!”

”Items that will help Galdari!”

Elwynn and Orek responded, choosing items that would help their race, rather than the items that would help them personally.

Orek and Elwynn had no trust in Aakesh taking out some actually useful items, but when he took out the first item for the trade, Elwynnʼs eyes widened in shock.

He finally believed that when Aakesh said he wanted the trade to be fair, he was speaking the truth.

If the value of the Heartwood Stone was one ultimate stone, that didnʼt mean that half of the stone was worth five hundred thousand supreme Sacred stones.

The Heartwood stone in half was nothing more than a worthless stone, but since both the parts were currently available, it increased the value of both sides.

Time flew by, and the trade was completed. Both Orek and Elwynn were extremely satisfied with their sides.

After the trade, the enmity between the two also disappeared, and smiles spread across their faces.
