The First Store System

Chapter 1016: Clark!

The battle between the Hygar and Eris didnʼt go on for long, as Eris comfortably defeated the creature without even exerting his full strength.

Eris found himself returning to the store after the battle was over. He sensed that there was no change in time from when he left for the battle, but since he was inside the store, he accepted it.

After the taming battle, Eris completed the next process, and soon after, only paying for the Hygar was left.

”You need to pay ten thousand, one hundred and eleven supreme Sacred stones, eleven thousand...” Eris received the price quote from Aakesh.

The summoning of the Hygar alone had cost more than a thousand supreme Sacred stones for Eris, but now that he had it, he found the price to be worth it.

Eris then asked Aakesh about the store cards since he could see the card machine next to Aakesh.

After the introduction was over, Eris didnʼt waste a single second and bought the Ultimate Store Card.

[Do you want to pay 10,111 supreme Sacred stone...]

A familiar mechanical voice rang inside Erisʼs head after he completed the process of binding the store card.

Eris nodded, and soon, one of his ultimate Sacred stones got divided into supreme stones, and the payment was complete. After that, Eris heard a voice in his head telling him how much balance was left on the card.

It had been around fifteen hours since the store had opened for the day. All the spots for Panagea had already been filled as forty-eight customers waited for the third group to exit so they could enter.

Tap! Tap! Tap!

Aakesh was relaxing on his chair when he heard the sound of footsteps coming from outside the store. Aakesh opened his eyes and turned in that direction, finding an unfamiliar face entering the store.

***

”Hello, store owner!” The man greeted Aakesh immediately after entering the store. Only then, he looked around and surveyed the storeʼs insides.

The man was neither a Vurron nor a demon; he was from another group of races altogether.

His name was Clark, and he belonged to the Shallow-Skinned Dwarf, a race in the Dwarf group.

Similar to Dwarves, the man was short in stature but bulkier than even the Vurrons. Clark maintained a weapon shop in Thorr City for the Dwarf Organization, a weapons trading organization run by the Dwarf groups spread across the Sacred Dimension.

Clark was a Dwarf that was obsessed with weapons, so he didnʼt care what was going on outside the store and immersed himself all day and night in weapons. But this morning, one customer who arrived in his store was also a customer of this store.

From that customer, Clark learned about the store and the myriad of weapons it sold. How could Clark take the customerʼs complaints about the storeʼs weapon being better than his, so he was here?

***

ʼSeems like a large background!ʼ Clark looked around the shop, then thought to himself.

It seemed to have doused the burning fire in his heart about the storeʼs weapon being superior to his. The Dwarf Organization was also a large organization in the Sacred Dimension, but how could they invest much in a place like this galaxy, let alone Thorr City?

”Do you also sell weapons?” Clark asked.

Aakesh nodded and then told Clark about the weapons sold in the store. Clark thanked Aakesh and then went to the weapons room, not caring about other products.

Clarkʼs eyes widened in shock when he entered the room. If the storeʼs inside was like a hut, then the weapons room was like a palace. He looked around in amazement at the murals detailing fight scenes with the weapons available in the store.

Clark didnʼt waste much of his time looking around the murals and proceeded toward the pillars and the weapon counters near them.

Clark was best at making spears, so he went to the counter that sold spears. Clark could handle weapons of the low Higher level because of his intermediate Divine Lord cultivation.

Time flew by, and several minutes passed in the blink of an eye.

Clark lost himself in studying the spears; the more he looked at them, the more he wanted to continue.

[Name: Unknown Spear

Grade: Higher

Level: Low

Detail: A spearhead made from the heart of a dying ice wolf, the shaft made of its bones,

Price: Three thousand ordinary Sacred stones.]

A screen floated near the blue ice spear in Clarkʼs hands. Even though the summary was extremely simple, its abilities werenʼt. Clark could feel the chill creeping into his bones when he touched the spear.

Clark then looked at every inch of the spear, and soon, he placed it back inside the counter. He then put his hands back and took out another spear.

Time flew by, and hours passed in the blink of an eye.

Aakesh was relaxing in his chair when he heard the sound of footsteps approaching him. He opened his eyes and found it was the Dwarf coming toward him with a spear several times its size.

”I want this one,” Clark requested.

Aakesh nodded and glanced at the spear. The next moment, all the details of the spear appeared in his mind.

It was a gray spear, the same skin color as Clark. Its shaft was made of the mixture of bones of several creatures, turning into an elastic as well as durable shaft.

”You need to pay seven thousand ordinary Sacred stones,” Aakesh announced.

Despite being only an intermediate Divine Lord, Clark had accumulated a large amount of wealth due to selling weapons. The next moment, Clark took the required stones out and pushed toward Aakesh.

Aakesh waved his hands, and soon the mountain of stones disappeared from the store.

The next moment, a notification rang in his head, informing him of the amount being correct.

”The sale is complete. The spear is yours,” Aakesh expressionlessly announced.

Tap! Tap! Tap!

Not long after Clark left, another new customer graced the store.

Aakesh introduced all store products to the customer after he asked about them, and since all the spots in Panagea were full, the man left after buying three third-grade spirit enhancement pills.

Time flew by, and the six hours for the third group were over, so the system forced them out one by one, depending on their entry sequence.
