Not Being a Trainer This Time

Chapter 1239: Chapter 568: Team Rocket, Calyrex and the Four Calamities Snatching Sheep Milk_2

Giovanni: “…”

His “adorable” subordinates seemed intent on getting him killed.

“Do not provoke the other party.” Giovanni warned.

From his recent observations, Naoki clearly possessed more than just the Legendary Pokémon, and there was a high possibility that many Legendary Pokémon hadn’t even shown themselves.

For example, the crimson Dragon-type Pokémon beside him earlier; the aura and energy emanating from that Pokémon made it clear it wasn’t an ordinary Pokémon.

Seeing Giovanni like this, Archer was a bit surprised but quickly suppressed his thoughts: “Yes!”

Matori asked, “What should we do next?”

Giovanni lightly tapped his finger on the table for a while, then spoke:

“Take a group to the Sinnoh Region or the Hoenn Region, log into the Pokémon shopping app there, and purchase something called Life Sheep Milk from the store named Tree’s House, then send them all to headquarters.”

Matori, Archer: “?”

“Additionally, instruct everyone not to capture the Dragonite delivery personnel. If anyone dares to disobey, immediately expel them from Team Rocket.” Giovanni ordered.

“Yes!” Matori and Archer dared not question further and promptly agreed.

“Alright, go execute the mission!”

After ending the communication, Giovanni rubbed his temples.

Naoki… If only talents like him could join Team Rocket, such a pity…

At the same time, a large number of Team Rocket members across Kanto received a new mission simultaneously.

But when they saw the content on the task clearly, they were completely dumbfounded.

Even though they didn’t know the situation, orders from the boss must have a purpose!

Thus, a large crowd of Team Rocket members began purchasing plane tickets and ship tickets, flooding into the Hoenn Region and Sinnoh Region.

No time to rest, these people immediately opened their Rotom Phones at the airport and port, logged into the shopping app, searched for the relevant store, and clicked on Life Sheep Milk, ready to purchase.

This was a task personally issued by Boss Giovanni; if they could complete it first, they would surely gain Giovanni’s favor, leading to promotions and pay raises.

However, the next moment, they saw the words “out of stock” displayed on the milk.

What is happening?

After a quick inquiry, these Team Rocket members discovered that the store only opened for eight hours a day, and the most popular Life Sheep Milk sold out as soon as it was stocked at seven in the morning.

Slow people couldn’t get any.

Therefore, this batch of Team Rocket members waited and waited, from day to night, and night to day again.

The next morning, awoken by alarms, they immediately opened their phones to frantically snatch the milk.

As soon as their phone screens jumped to the shop interface, they saw the remaining quantity of milk rapidly decreasing.

No time, hurry up and grab it!

In just five minutes, five hundred bottles of milk had sold out.

Team Rocket members were dumbfounded.

“I got it!” Those who succeeded were overjoyed.

“Damn it! The network lagged!” Those who failed were so angry they nearly smashed their phones.

“I have to present this to the boss quickly!”

At ten in the morning, a dozen bottles of milk from the Hoenn Region and Sinnoh Region were delivered to Giovanni.

Looking at those bottles, Giovanni was utterly silent.

So many people, and they only got these dozen bottles?

“Boss, what should we do?” Matori asked.

“Forget it, give those who succeeded a bonus, and also take these two bottles to the laboratory. Have the researchers study them thoroughly!” Giovanni said.

“Understood!” Matori responded and took the two bottles of Life Sheep Milk, preparing to leave.

“There’s one more thing!” Giovanni added.

Matori paused, turned back respectfully, waiting for the boss’s instructions.

“Have them continue tomorrow.”

“Yes!”

The news of Giovanni visiting the pasture was relayed to Mewtwo by Naoki that very night.

[Mewtwo: What has he come for?]

[King Wings: He probably wanted Life Sheep Milk, but I declined.]

As for Giovanni, Mewtwo’s heart has long felt nothing.

After so many years of travel, it knows there are many people in this world, there are people like Giovanni, and there are people like Naoki and Ash.

As long as others don’t disturb their calm life, that’s enough.

[Mewtwo: I understand now, I won’t feel confused anymore.]

Seeing Mewtwo’s reply, Naoki sent back an OK emoji.

Since Mewtwo no longer cares, why should he bother to worry so much?

Naoki then pushed this matter to the back of his mind.

Today is March 27th of League Year 202, and before he knew it, spring had already come to an end.

Everything was as usual on the ranch, the Combee diligently collecting honey, the Butterfree dancing among the flowers, Pawmo guarding the Chicken House, Alcremie playing with the Garganacl, Gholdengo hosting a tea party in the garden with Calyrex and Ogerpon…

Lono’s Magnemite also stayed on the ranch; she follows an elite system, and including Magnemite, she has only seven Pokemon in total.

The other six were taken to the Gym by Lono, leaving just one Magnemite beside the TV in the living room, soaking up electricity.

The grass on the ranch was growing a bit unruly, so Naoki pushed out the lawnmower from the storage room and started trimming the grass.

Koraidon and Cyclizar were lounging lazily nearby, enjoying the leisurely afternoon.

Seeing Naoki pushing the lawnmower, Ogerpon in the garden immediately waved and greeted Naoki.

“Boni~!”

“You guys play! I’ll trim these lawns!” Naoki said with a smile to Ogerpon.

Just then, he suddenly saw Chien-Pao, Ting-Lu, Chi-Yu, and Wo-Chien gather not far from Calyrex.

They looked as if they were regarding Calyrex as a “king.”

What’s going on?

Calyrex immediately noticed Naoki’s gaze shifting between it and Ting-Lu and the others. Understanding the little believer’s thoughts, it communicated via telepathy:

“My charm has conquered Ting-Lu and the others, these four Pokemon willingly belong to me.”

Not long ago, when Calyrex was helping Naoki care for these flowers on the ranch, Ting-Lu and the others sensed its power and willingly submitted, belonging to it, forming a bond.

Just like a thousand years ago with the two batches of horses.

Upon hearing Calyrex’s words, Naoki was slightly stunned.

From divine Pokemon… is it similar to the relationship of Ho-oh and the Legendary beasts, Lugia and the three Legendary birds?

However, speaking of which, the reversed powers of Chien-Pao and Chi-Yu resemble Calyrex’s quite a lot… Perhaps it’s for this reason that they feel close to Calyrex?

The past experiences of the Treasures of Ruin resurfaced in his mind, causing Naoki to nod and say, “This is good too.”

Perhaps later the world will start to tell the legend of Calyrex and its prosperous guards.

Calyrex revealed a gentle smile.

Polteageist, seeing the tea finished by Calyrex, hurriedly floated over to pour new tea into the Sinistea on the table.

Across from them, Ogerpon and Gholdengo also raised their glasses happily, enjoying the spring tea party together with Calyrex.

“Boni~!”

Meanwhile, on the vast ocean, the calm surface reflected the clear blue sky. White clouds floated slowly across the mirror-like sea. It was momentarily hard to tell sea from sky.

A few Wingull perched on a small island’s coconut tree.

Their gaze cast towards the distant sea surface, where a gigantic creature revealed half its body, slowly advancing on the water.

That is Wailord, the largest Pokemon in the ocean.

And atop that Wailord stood a Pokemon with orange-red fur.

That Pokemon had very strong limbs, adorned with iron rings. Its cheeks bore a red six-pointed star-like structure, and a clover-like golden crest was embedded on its forehead.

Its mane, like white smoke, fluttered gently in the ocean breeze, looking quite graceful.

This is Entei, who departed from Johto under Ho-oh’s orders to travel to another continent.

At this moment, the expression on Entei’s face was unprecedentedly regal.

It gazed at the endless sea, its expression immensely solemn.

Two days had passed since it set out from Mount Tensei. Thanks to this Pokemon named Wailord, it could cross the ocean.

But when will it arrive…?

Suicune and Lei Gong must have reached another land by now?

But it’s still here, leisurely advancing amidst the blazing sun and ocean waves.

In that moment, a thought popped into Entei’s mind.

Flying would be wonderful.
