Volcarona looked moved, and a joyful growl escaped its mouth. It was very happy about entrusting its child to the caretaker’s child.

Alder knew Volcarona would agree, and he grinned: ”It’s settled then!”

No need to rush now, since the egg was just laid yesterday, and it will be a long time until it hatches.

Although the wedding is still six months away, organizing a wedding is quite a troublesome affair.

From selecting the venue to arranging guest seating, and placing Pokémon snacks, there’s also the need to choose wedding dresses in advance and other trivialities.

Naoki was completely inexperienced with these things, but fortunately, he had help from the townsfolk and surrounding farmers, and Naoki managed to get everything ready in just a month.

At that time, the staff will prepare everything. They just need to be there on time.

Once Naoki returned home after finishing everything, he felt a wave of emotion.

He couldn’t help but notice how different the culture and customs of the Pokémon World were compared to his previous world.

For example, relatives of both parties didn’t need to be split into two bunches, and compared to academic achievement, parents valued the groom’s character and trainer prowess much more.

With this in mind, Naoki called Lono and said with a smile: ”Everything’s ready!”

”Hehe, great job! I’m done with everything here too!” Lono seemed a bit out of energy on the phone: ”Time goes so slowly, still five months to go...”

Naoki chuckled: ”Relax, time flies, and it’s already October, just two more months until 2022. Busy on your end too, right?”

The League Competition was just around the corner, and trainers everywhere were speeding up, challenging gyms and collecting badges.

Lately, there hasn’t been anyone coming to the ranch for challenges.

”Well, it’s manageable! I can take a break next month!” Lono began to look forward to this year’s holiday: ”Oh, someone’s come to challenge the gym, I’ll call you later, bye!”

”Alright.”

Naoki just wanted to take a break when he suddenly received a message from Mewtwo.

[Mewtwo: Come to the World Tree.]

Naoki was slightly puzzled; is something happening at the World Tree?

He quickly asked Mewtwo, but all Mewtwo said was to come over.

Naoki: ”...” Okay then!

Sly and secretive.

Naoki got up and told Koraidon: ”Let’s go! To the World Tree!”

”Ah-kaa-ris!” Koraidon quickly followed.

The two traversed the Reversed World and soon arrived at the World Tree.

However, Naoki sensed something was off when he got there.

Something wasn’t right! Something definitely wasn’t right!

The huge Exploration Team Guild Headquarters didn’t have a single Pokémon present!

Even the usually bustling Tatsugiri Sushi Shop was empty.

Hmm? What happened here? Naoki squinted and surveyed his surroundings.

He took out his Rotom Phone to try contacting Mewtwo for more information.

Just then, a Treecko suddenly appeared from a corner.

From a distance, it waved at Naoki: ”Chaa-fuh!”

”Treecko? Where is everyone?” Naoki hurriedly asked.

However, Treecko didn’t answer, just turned around, indicating for Naoki to follow.

”Chaa-fuh!”

Seeing this, Naoki knew everyone was alright, and he breathed a sigh of relief as he followed.

Treecko turned into a narrow path, entering an isolated forest.

Golden sunlight streamed through the gaps in the leaves above, mixed with the morning mist yet to dissipate, giving the entire forest an ethereal beauty, as if stepping into a painted world.

Before Naoki could admire it, Treecko took a turn and exited the forest.

In the blink of an eye, Naoki arrived at a beautiful, idyllic Secret Realm.

The open field was vibrant with green grass and beautiful flowers blooming, a small stream meandered through the valley with the sound of flowing water lingering, while in the distance lay a golden field.

This was the place where Pokémon from the World Tree farmed crops, and a tall windmill stood by the riverbank, its giant blades slowly turning with the wind.

But none of this was what shocked Naoki the most.

What amazed him was the sight of a picturesque country-style two-story house sitting on the open field!

Looking at this scenic view, Naoki couldn’t help but murmur: ”What’s the situation?”

”Chaa-fuh~”

Treecko walked forward and stood by the door, signaling for Naoki to enter.

Naoki complied. He initially wanted to knock, but when he placed his hand on the door, he found it wasn’t locked, just slightly ajar.

He gently pushed, and the door opened.

Next, a large group of various Pokémon appeared before Naoki.

”Mi!”

”Awoo!”

”Li~”

”Lucky~”

”...”

Chansey, Tatsugiri, Arboliva, Milotic, Charizard, Venusaur, Mewtwo, and even some Conkeldurr that Naoki had never seen before, presumably invited by Pokémon from other worlds.

At this moment, all the Pokémon from the World Tree were gathered here, looking excitedly at Naoki.

Naoki was slightly taken aback: ”This is...”

The Tatsugiri happily jumped around: ”Mi!” (This is the house we built for Naoki!)
