The way Dratini shed their skin is quite straightforward and crude: they rub their bodies against hard objects like stones until all the dragon skin is shed.

It seemed that with Naoki’s arrival, coupled with the eagerness to quickly taste those delicious Poffins, all of these Dratini instinctively accelerated their rubbing against the reefs.

Soon, one of the Dratini was enveloped in a white glow, a light akin to the evolution light, yet not as dazzling.

Within the glow, a crack appeared on the skin of the Dratini’s head. Then, as if shedding a one-piece suit, it gradually peeled the skin from its head down to its tail.

The Dratini, having completed its shedding, happily leaped out from the ”clothes” and immediately dashed towards Naoki.

”Woo~”

Naoki hurriedly reached out to catch it. The freshly shed Dratini was incredibly soft to the touch, like caressing the softest silk in the world.

”Alright, alright.” Naoki took off his backpack, pulled out a Poffin, and fed it to the Dratini.

The other Dratini, seeing this scene, all sped up their rubbing against the surface.

In no time, more Dratini began to glow with an intense white light.

The second one, the third one, the fourth one...

Five minutes later, all the Dratini had finished shedding their skin. At that moment of shedding, they all flew towards Naoki, excitedly circling him, emitting cooing noises.

Naoki: ”...”

Elder Dragonite watched this scene with satisfaction.

Not bad, this group of kids has grown up again!

Naoki spread a picnic cloth on the ground, then poured all the Poffins and Pokeblocks he brought onto it, piling them into a small mountain, letting the Dratini eat to their heart’s content.

Eating the delicious Poffins and Pokeblocks, the Dratini could only feel that being a dragon is so blissful!

They all longed to evolve into Dragonite quickly! Then, they could become impressive delivery carriers like everyone else.

Not only could they travel the world, but they could also enjoy Poffins every day. Just thinking about it made them happy!

A few Dragonite who stayed on Dragonite Island couldn’t help but drool at the scene.

Meanwhile, Naoki went over to the nearby reef and picked up a Dratini skin.

The freshly shed skin felt moist and slippery, remarkably intact.

Naoki remembered that Dratini skin is considered very precious among humans.

Because their shed skin can be used as valuable material for high-end goods, they are extremely expensive, even if not made into goods; the price of Dratini skin is still exorbitant.

What a treasure!

Naoki couldn’t help but pick up the eight pieces of dragon skin next to the reef.

In the process, he took the opportunity to use his ability to check the information on the Dratini skins.

[Shed Dratini Skin: A precious item, can be used to craft artisan goods, extremely valuable, can also be used to make cuisine, and dishes made with it will have the special effect of ”Dragon’s Armor.”]

Seeing this description, Naoki was slightly taken aback.

What? Dratini skin can also be used to make cuisine? Why does that sound a bit terrifying?

However, speaking of it, the effect of this sort of thing is probably similar to the snake skin sold in traditional Chinese medicine stores in his past life, right?

By the same logic, the shed skin of Dratini could also be medicinal.

Thinking about it this way, Naoki found it much easier to accept.

”Dragon’s Armor, I wonder what kind of effect it would have...”
