Not Being a Trainer This Time

However, Arceus, seemingly able to see through his concerns, patiently explained:

”Rest assured, the Gate of Space-Time created by me can only be passed by those who are kind-hearted and love Pokémon, so you needn’t worry.”

Yet, Naoki was still worried. What if the Pokémon encounter danger in other worlds?

Naoki hesitated for a moment and asked, ”Can I refuse?”

However, Arceus wasn’t flustered at all; it simply gazed into Naoki’s eyes, presenting the scenes of those worlds being destroyed before him.

Meteorites collided with planets, mushroom clouds appeared on the ground, and terrifying fires and earthquakes mercilessly devoured the Pokémon.

Naoki: ”...”

Suddenly, he heard the cries of Meowth and Pikachu.

Naoki turned around and noticed that the Pokémon on the World Tree had awakened at some point, now gathered here, emotionally watching the scene displayed by Arceus.

”Pikachu...” (So pitiful...)

”Meow!” (They died, it’s so scary!)

”Baa?” (This Pokémon just said, if we go there to help them, can they be okay?) The Skiddo nurtured by Gogoat asked.

Upon hearing this, the Tatsugiri immediately stated: ”Me!” (That’s right, we can even invite them to live at the guild!)

Arceus asked, ”Do you wish to help those Pokémon?”

Naoki: ”!!!” What a shameless llama!

Upon hearing this, the group of Pokémon showed hesitation, remembering the purpose Naoki had previously told them about the Explorer Team Guild.

It’s to help those Pokémon in need...

Thinking of this, some Pokémon soon made a decision.

”Awoo!”

Under its lead, more and more Pokémon agreed.

They all looked at Naoki collectively, their expressions seemed to say they also want to help those Pokémon in need like Mew and Teddiursa!

Naoki: ”...”

At this stage, it’s beyond his ability to stop it.

After a moment of silence, Naoki asked, ”I only have one request.”

Arceus slightly nodded: ”Regardless of what it is, I will agree.”

Naoki: ”You must ensure everyone’s safety.”

Arceus pondered briefly, then recalled some devices developed in certain worlds, nodding:

”Alright, I will gift you some Arceus Teleportation Bracelets, which can be worn on the body, and when any life-threatening danger arises, it will automatically trigger the Power of Space to transport the Pokémon back to the guild.”

Naoki was slightly stunned upon hearing this: ”This kind of thing can be done too?”

Isn’t this exactly like the teleportation feature in games?

Arceus slightly nodded: ”I am the Creator God, to you, I am an omniscient and omnipotent existence.”

As it spoke, a ball of golden light suddenly flew out from Arceus, floating in front of Naoki.

Naoki stared closely and saw a phone entirely white, with decorations resembling the thousand arms of Arceus.

That is... an Arceus Phone?!

Naoki instantly recognized this item, as in ”Pokémon Legend: Arceus,” Arceus once gifted an Arceus Phone to Koa.

”Additionally,” Arceus continued, ”this item, the Arceus Phone, was created by me. You can use it to track the encounters of each Pokémon during their adventure, and if any of them face danger, the Arceus Phone will automatically alert you. At that time, you can personally, or send other Pokémon to provide support.”

Naoki: ”...”

Arceus really thought things through.

He reached out and took the Arceus Phone, lighting up the screen, and immediately saw a row of items similar to the Pokedex.

Every Pokémon on the World Tree was automatically registered by Arceus, even Mewtwo and Groudon were included.

Naoki tapped on Mewtwo’s small icon and immediately saw detailed information about Mewtwo.

[Mewtwo

Height: 2m

Weight: 122kg

Commission: None

Current Location: World Tree

Body status: Healthy]

Below that, there is a row that looks like a career record.

[League Year 201, July 5th, Mewtwo is observing the entity claiming to be the true form of Arceus.]

”It seems you have learned to use it.” Arceus said: ”Go! Go help those Pokemon and worlds that need assistance!”

As the words fell, a dazzling light suddenly burst from Arceus.

A moment later, the figure of Arceus disappeared.

It left the World Tree, left this world.

Naoki looked at the Rotom Phone in his hand, feeling a bit dazed for a moment.

The Pokemon on the World Tree also lowered their heads, looking at the Teleportation Bracelet that appeared in their hands.

Besides these, Arceus also gifted a pile of bracelets stacked aside, forming a small hill, as if prepared for new members joining in the future.

They also heard what the Pokemon just said, clearly understanding the function of this bracelet.

Treecko seemed very happy: ”Kachu!” (With this, we won’t have to worry about encountering danger!)

When the time comes, the bracelet will directly take them back to the World Tree.

”Lucky～” Chansey also happily nodded, then it will help heal injuries using Berries, Life Sheep Milk, and Holy Ash!

Wigglytuff, temporarily acting as the guild leader, was also very happy.

It will go with Charizard to those worlds to gather requests and bring them back to the World Tree, posting them on the guild’s bulletin board, waiting for everyone to complete them!

Upon hearing this, the other Pokémon present expressed their thoughts.

Vileplume said it will manage the Item Shop well, providing the necessary items for everyone during their expeditions!

Pawmot’s parents said they will take care of the hens, collecting eggs to make delicious meals for everyone!

Pikachu and Meowth said they will work hard to run the Pokemon Tavern well, providing delicious fruit wine for the Pokémon returning from adventures!

Tropius said it will prepare sweet banana fruits for everyone!

The Treecko group said they will work hard to cultivate fruit trees, plant fields, and prepare enough supplies for everyone!

...

Naoki: ”...”

Listening to the lively discussions of these Pokémon, Naoki couldn’t help but feel a bit helpless.

He roughly understood their sentiments, like finally being able to use a move they had practiced hard for a long time.

Well, since Arceus can guarantee their safety, he can be at ease!

However, speaking of which, Arceus said humans from other worlds can also come to this world through the Gate of Space-Time.

The group from Team Rainbow Rocket is restricted from entering, what about Red?

Naoki’s mind conjured up the image of Red inadvertently entering the World Tree, challenging Legendary Pokemon layer by layer...

Well, Pokémon might not just happen to encounter Red, and besides, with so many worlds, if Pokémon don’t guide the way, perhaps no one would come here at all.

After giving some advice to the Pokémon, Naoki turned and left the Explorer Team Guild.

Because he had to tell Mew and Teddiursa, Arceus suddenly appeared, and he didn’t have his Rotom Phone.

And the Arceus Phone does not have the function of making calls...

With Arceus’s departure, the time stasis in this world was also lifted.

When Naoki returned to the ranch, Koraidon and Cyclizar were looking everywhere for him since he was missing.

When Naoki returned, a group of Pokémon rushed forward, asking him where he had gone.

Naoki patted Cyclizar’s head, helplessly explaining to them: ”Me? I met a very powerful being, and It wants me and everyone from the World Tree to do something for It, to help Pokémon in other worlds who need assistance...”

Koraidon understood, but Cyclizar listened with partial understanding.

Thus, Naoki walked towards the house, explaining in detail the events he had just encountered.

”It is Arceus, but not the one we fought, rather Its true form...”

In the Reversed World.

Arceus did not immediately leave this world.

It hovered above, quietly overlooking Giratina who was lying on the Flower Sky Island, playing with the Rotom Phone below.
