I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1401 19.60 Second Red Star - Beast King, Leonhart

Now that the Zerg Emperor and Zerg Empress had arrived on the Beast Planet, the belligerent beastmen had at last discovered an entirely new battleground to attack. The former Federation Star is surrounded by a few massive warships. Its blue color has turned white, giving the impression that snow has covered the entire star.

The Zerg Emperor and Zerg Empress saw the same black lion in the video, and it turns out that the King of the Beastmen is inside one of the biggest spaceships in the fleet that is floating above the federation star. His dull gray eyes had changed. They were now lighter and he had somewhat recovered his sense of reason.

He still has a great desire for battle, but he differs from the other beastmen in that he can speak.

The King of Beasts, Leonhart, stared at the white star before his eyes. ”Isnʼt this the human star? How did it become white when I remembered it as blue?” he mumbles.

”My King, arenʼt we going to descend yet? My fists are as itchy as my teeth.”

”Is there even something worthy of fighting in the human star? Didnʼt most of their warriors die before? Itʼs better to head to the Hive Star instead!”

The Beast King Leonhart said, ”No. I can feel a strong individual there. One... no, two as powerful, no, maybe more powerful than I exist in there.”

The spaceshipʼs interior abruptly became silent upon hearing this. A few minutes later, the entire audience erupted in joyful laughter. It appears that nearly all of the beastmen heard what their monarchs had to say, and rather than being afraid, they will be more eager to face off against stronger foes.

”Hahaha~ this is great news! The best one this month!”

”King, letʼs go. I want to fight already.”

”Kakaka~ I canʼt wait to fight against the strong. The stronger they are, the better.”

Beast Kin Leonhart also had an excited smile on his face as his eyes glowed a brighter shade of gray. ”Shall we descend then?”

The entire fleet of the Beast Race had entered the human star, led by Leonhart, the king of beasts. The inhabitants of the Federation Star were unaware of the impending peril that was set to strike them.

Federation Star, North Region...

Leng Jun flees to the sky, gazing at his fully grown Chuchu, after running away from the south. He felt as though all the weight in his heart had lifted sufficiently for him to breathe when he saw him awake and well. The corner of his eyes had gone red and he was holding back his emotions, but his demeanor had progressively changed.

Away from the Ice Forest, home of the Ice Elemental Wolf King, the two of them touched down. Leng Jun attempted to embrace Chuchu as soon as they landed, but his hands went through Chuchu.

With shock imprinted on his face, Leng Jun asked, ”Why... Why canʼt I touch you, Chuchu?!”

The Fire Elemental Viper King, Chuchu, looked at his master with a sad gaze and said, {AʼJun, this is merely my soul. I no longer have any physical body for me to materialize in your world.}

”How can I help you gain your material form? Is there a way for you to gain another body? Right, that person said that in the Upper Realm there is a way to recreate a body. We should go to the Upper Realm, Chuchu?” Leng Jun said.

{AʼJun, only Gods are able to ascend to the Upper Realm. We are currently only in the migration stage. Unless you become a god, it is impossible to leave this world of yours.}

Leng Jun recalled what that man told him before: ”Chuchu, that man said that you can only wake up once you absorb divinity. Did you know why you woke up?”

{I donʼt know. When I was sleeping, I suddenly felt a powerful aura enter my soul. Not only did it repair my injuries, but it also strengthened my soul. I donʼt know who gave me that power. If your words are right, then it must be divine energy that woke me up. I just donʼt know who gave it to me,} Chuchu, the Fire Elemental Viper King, said.

Leng Jun asked, ”Is it not because of the energy we absorbed from that mysterious spring?”

{Definitely not! That spring only has the purest element of ice; there is no divinity at all. Also, that creepy power only gives you a quarter of whatever you eat. Just one Elemental Kingʼs energy core was enough to wake me up! Whoever told you about this kind of thing is not a good person!} Chuchu said.

Leng Jun said, ”I also know that he isnʼt a good person, but he knows the way for me to wake you up. That is enough for me to sell my soul to him. I will sacrifice anything just to wake you up. Likewise, I am willing to do anything just to recreate your body.”

{AʼJun, Iʼm alright. I can be reborn in the Spirit World. There is no need to listen to that evil thing!}

The atmosphere in the area turned tense. ”How long will it take?” asked Leng Jun.

{Huh?}

”How long will it take for you to be reborn if you return to the Spirit World?” asked Leng Jun but his face looked a bit angry for a reason. This faced his frightened Chuchu as he was guilty of saying that it was a lie.

{I… It shouldnʼt… take long…}

”Chuchu, youʼre lying. I saw your memories in that dimension. When your parents died, they were never reborn, especially if their bloodline was extracted. You gave me all of your bloodline just to save my life. There is no way you can be reborn. Please donʼt lie to me!” Leng Jun said.

This outburst of him made him unable to hold back his tears as he stared at Chuchu.

Chuchu was taken aback to see that Leng Jun was crying. He was unsure of his next course of action. Even though he had lied, he never intended for Leng Jun to execute a heinous deed in order to have his body replicated. Since the Ice Elemental Octopus King was an evil elemental, he did not mind too much that he had caused his death.

As for the Ice Elemental Nine-Tailed Fox King, he gave up his energy core without a struggle. True death does not exist in this case. The Fox King was not dead. He could have gone back to the Spirit World and recreated his body, so he did not lose his bloodline. The Penguin King, on the other hand, is considerably younger than him.

Leng Jun is not interested in it because the energy in its core is insufficient. In addition, it assists them in locating the energy spring that separates them from one another.

{AʼJun, donʼt cry. Itʼs my fault. But there is no need to do this. If you are stained with too much karma, your ending would not be good. I just want you to live a peaceful and happy life.}

Leng Jun, ”...”

{I will help control the fire elements in your body so you can retain a human body as long as you donʼt wield your elemental qi. Donʼt you want to see your father and your comrades?}

Leng Jun said while staring at Chuchu, ”My happy life includes you, Chuchu. So, donʼt ever disappear from me again.”

{Okay. I will stay by your side, AʼJun.}

After their reunion, they set out to return to the house they could still remember. Chuchu assisted Leng Jun in mastering the fire components within his body, to the point where standing next to him was no longer considered to be hot. Nor did the snow beneath his feet melt. Leng Jun appeared more human at this point, but for the reddish hair and monstrous eyes.

Chuchu, on the other hand, decides to constrict and remain at Leng Junʼs shoulders.

There were numerous hidden entrances to the underground sanctuary. Walking down the old underground tunnel that connects to the underground Sanctuary where the humans dwell, Leng Jun and Chuchu used one of the ones that was furthest from the sanctuary, making sure that no one was following them. Leng Jun was hesitant to knock on the door or enter the code to open it before the heavy metal door.

Upon seeing his hesitation, Chuchu couldnʼt help but look at his master with worry. {Arenʼt you going to enter, AʼJun? If we donʼt go in, those we had hunted for would go to waste}

Leng Jun said, ”Chuchu, do you think they would be afraid of me? After all, I am no longer human.”

{Didnʼt you meet your foster father before? Was he scared when you met him at that time?}

”No, but... he is my father. He had more tolerance and trust towards me. But those who live instead are humans whose families died due to the apocalypse, and some of them died because of elementals,” Leng Jun said. An obvious hint of fear can be seen flashing within those red-orange irises.

Despite his pupils looking inhuman due to them becoming vertical, one can still see the hidden kindness within them.

{If you donʼt try meeting them, how would you know? Regardless of the result, wonʼt I be with you?} Chuchu comforted me. Though he wasnʼt close to other humans or elementals, he had seen Leng Junʼs relationship with his foster father and the other survivors.

However, Leng Jun was unaware that nearly all entrances leading to the Deep Haven had cameras installed after he broke away from the facility. Old Serge is in charge of this, and he still longs for his son to return and see him. Leng Jun was unaware that the guards on duty had spotted and documented his figure as soon as he showed up at the gate.

He was first unrecognizable to them because of the color of his hair and eyes.

At the surveillance room, the guards on duty today were about to switch shifts with the next group that night.

”Yawns, our shift is almost over.”

”Remember to remind the next group to recharge the cameras.”

”I know. These cameras are extremely useful. Thanks to them, we would know if an elemental noticed one of our entrances, and we could destroy it on time.”

Your next read awaits at empire

”Actually, there is another reason. Youʼve heard about what happened to Captain Leng, havenʼt you?”

”Did they say he is out on a mission to look for other survivors? I wonder if he is still alive.”

”Thatʼs a lie.”

”Really? How did you know?”

”I heard something happen to him. They said that he merged with his elemental and is no longer a human. Thatʼs why he canʼt come back to live with us anymore.”

”For real!? So, is he a human or an elemental?”

”Maybe both. But the Old Leader said that he is still our ally.”

”Donʼt you remember those prey that appeared above our territory before? They said they were all hunted by Captain Leng for us.”

”Doesnʼt that make him our savior then!?”

”Yes, thatʼs why if you catch someone on the camera who looks like the captain, we should report them right away.”

THUD!

There were at least four men on guard duty. With two to three of them talking to one another, the other was too sleepy to join the fun. But this sleepy man was stunned when he raised his head and looked at his monitor. He didnʼt know if he was too sleepy, but when he saw the monitor in front of him, he truly saw a young man pulling carts of dead mutated animals.

Every single one that can be eaten was piled up on a small hill with this one young man that looks similar to their Captain Leng pulling it effortlessly with a single hand. There is also a translucent figure of a red viper wrapped around his neck.

”Captain Leng? Itʼs the captain!”

”What!?”

”Itʼs really him. Call the Old Leader! Tell them that Captain Leng is here!”

”Yes, Sir!”
