I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1378 19.37 Second Red Star - Mine to Kill.

The unexpected suicide bombing had put the Zerg Race at a sudden disadvantage, but the arrival of the Zerg Queen had reversed that situation. The commander was forced to endure the detonation of the suicide attack since he was unable to leave the Hive Starʼs primary entrance.

Cid Warlock was surrounded by soldiers and subordinates who were prepared to die in order to preserve him. The explosion was about to take everything that both targets could handle.

But who would expect Queen Titania to come out of the Hive and leave the protection of the Zerg King to the Royal Guards? The Queen of the Insect Raceʼs only duty is to protect the Imperial Palace and the Zerg King. As for fighting wars and battles, only the generals and soldiers of the military do it as a duty.

Even though Titania Ambrosia used to be the strongest general within the hive, his duties changed the moment he became the Zerg Queen. Thatʼs why whenever he leaves the hive, he needs the permission of the Zerg King, Augustus Kaiser.

If he were only the Zerg Queen, Queen Titania would be stopped by those old men in the palace with their lives, as going out of the hive would be a directive of his duties as the Queen, but before the Zerg King entered seclusion, King Augustus had given Queen Titania the position of the Regent and possessed equal authority over her within the hive.

Thus, the Zerg Queenʼs duties had been adjusted once again.

As a Regent Queen, Titania Ambrosia had a task similar to that of a Zerg King. Coming out of the hive to protect their planet is one of them. Since King Augustus hasnʼt come out of his seclusion yet, Queen Titania took over his duties and protected the hive until the Zerg King came out.

The appearance of the Zerg Queen not only saved the lives of countless soldiers. If not for the arrival of the Zerg Queen, a lot of Zerg soldiers would have died in that explosion just to save the Royal Descendant, Cid Warlock. As for Marquess Conrad, his divine armor is enough to prevent the explosion from affecting the hive star behind him. Even if the Queen didnʼt arrive, he would be safe.

Relieved of his duties to protect the hive, Marquess Conrad holds on to his spear and steps out. This time, he is going to personally lead the soldier to fight in front. This position is much more suitable for him than staying at the rear to give orders.

Marquess Conrad said to his wife, ”Stay beside the Queen. I will be alright on my own, honey.” He unfolded his wasp wigs and stayed in his humanoid zerg form. High-ranking zerg can control three modes of transformation.

Human Form mode, where their features are completely human. Zerg Form Mode, where their features show their original bug form, and lastly, the Humanoid Bug Form, where they can exhibit a few parts of their insect form while retaining their human form.

Their humanoid bug form is similar to the features of a halfling. The difference is that the zergs in this form can control their bloodline potently, making them the strongest in this form.

”Okay. Return safely,” Colonel Cyril said.

Marquess Conrad held his loverʼs hand and said, ”Donʼt worry. I will.”

With the Zerg Queen taking over the role at the rear and Marquess Conrad at the vanguard, the disadvantage of the humans had increased. The humans not only had to keep the Zerg Queen in sight, but at the same time they needed to block Marquess Conrad, who was going in front.

Even though the old Marshals and the generals are all gritting their teeth at the sudden change of events, they hold back, cursing on the spot. Theyʼve started taunting the insect race once again.

”What can another female Zerg do in front? Itʼs not like those damn halflings can protect the spiritual domain of all Zergs at the vanguard!”

”Thatʼs right. You female Zergs are weak against mental attacks. As long as we focus on you, you will die in the end!”

”Guides, focus your mental attacks on that Wasp Zerg!”

Marquess Conrad stood casually in front of his soldiers. Holding only his spear, he held off on attacking right away, biding his time until the humans rallied around a potent psychological assault on him. His eyes appear distant and uninterested as the man on the other side mentally abuses him.

Regretfully, Marquess Conrad found it ineffective because all he had to do was stretch a mental barrier film to encircle his head and torso. The guides who attacked him experienced a retaliation for using the mental drain technique on him.

On the other hand, such a result dumbfounded the humans. Ultimately, no female Zerg could possibly be able to do that, nor could they be able to control a strong mental qi source. That is only a male Zergʼs ability. A few guides passed out instantly, leaking blood from all seven of their openings.

”Impossible! This is not real! You are a female zerg! How the hell can you wield mental qi to such an extent?”

”Male Zergʼs mental abilities are stronger than those of human guides. No matter what kind of mental attacks you make, they wonʼt affect me. I am a male Zerg after all,” Marquess Conrad said, leaving almost all humans dumbfounded.

Gazing at the male zerg in front of them, they contrast it with the male zerg they can still remember. There is no sign of lanky features, poor bone structure, or delicate features, no matter how they slant their gaze at the Zerg in front of them. Such a high-value face paired with a sharp, attractive features and a slender, muscular frame. Isnʼt this a Female Zerg!?

Human collective thoughts at this moment: ʼImpossible! How can there be a handsome and high-quality man with a Greek-like body structure, Male Zerg!?ʼ

Marquess Conrad gave them a contemptuous gaze and unveiled his wings. With a few flaps, it seemed as if the space surrounding this Zerg Marquess was distorted, causing dizziness as if the space itself were swirling. This is a mental attack called distortion. He controlled the frequency of his wing movement until it affected the space around him.

As a high-quality male zerg, the original Marquess Silver is already in the S+ class of strength. After the Chief Warden took over the body, using his divine powers to reconstruct his vessel and repair his gene deformity, his original S+ level of strength was promoted to at least 3S in both physical and mental strength. He can be considered stronger than Lord Heiʼs incarnation in this world.

Queen Titaniaʼs strength would remain at SS+ Class unless the original soul, Hei Anjing, took over and merged with him. Only when they merge will the Zerg Queenʼs strength be considered unparalleled.

The distorted space on the human side caused their mecha to twist together with space. It distorted its original shape, causing the ones inside to die miserably as their physical vessel twisted in an angle one couldnʼt survive in. Some guides and sentry halted this distortion but its effects only slowed down and didnʼt stop at all.

Marquess Conrad turns back and looks for Cid Warlock. Holding back the enemies on his own, he gestured to the young royal to do the rest. The Marquess hand gestures send the meaning of ʼGo. Kill them all now.ʼ

Taking advantage of the simple task at hand, Cid Warlock gave the order to his zerg soldiers and halflings to begin murdering the humans on the opposing side who were unable to defend themselves. By eliminating all of their bossʼs men in their path, Cid Warlock, Kian, Solan, and Lucas cleared the way for him.

Ultimately, their employer still bears the responsibility of returning three human general heads or one old Federation marshal head. Regarding Silvana Warren, his stalker, she is one of the guides who was attacked by Marquess Conrad of the Zerg Race and faced a strong backlash.

The tug of war between the two sides eventually led to the big advantage of the Zerg Race after their queen joined the fray. The humans who insisted on invading lost quite a lot in this war, but this cannot be blamed on the Zergs, as it was the humans who came here uninvited that caused all the current events as result.

With someone as powerful as Marquess Conrad personally leading in front, the vanguard led by him was like reapers, killing and destroying everything in its path. Cid Warlock completed his trial in this war as long as he survives, he will become the crown prince of the Hive and the successor to the throne after the current King dies or abdicates.

Although Queen Titania stayed out of it, he was extremely vigilant at this particular time. The area has a familiar, unsettling air, and it appears that its owner has him marked as his target. But no matter where he turns, he is unable to identify the source of this repulsive stare.

He scowled and gave off a casual attitude, but judging by the tense look on his body right now, he is prepared to fight back, regardless of the type of creature pursuing him.

All of a sudden, System Yue, who was silent the whole time, suddenly shouted near the ears of the Zerg Queen.

[My Queen, be careful! Heʼs attacking!]

The moment this voice reached Queen Titania, he became solemn. A creature with the same face as King Augustus surfaced in front of him, attempting to pierce his heart. Thankfully, Colonel Cyril thwarted the manʼs assault. The manʼs outstretched hand was frozen and bound with crimson rope, and System Yue had surrounded the Zerg Queen with a barrier.

Queen Titania glares at the man wearing the same face as King Augustus.

”Who the hell are you?”

The Heretic Zerg King smirked and said, ”You donʼt recognize me. Hehe~” He broke free from the red strings and frost as if his arm ate the power that binds him and was about to reach out to touch the Zerg Queenʼs face.

Colonel Cyril, Marquess Conrad, who hurried over, and Zhi Yue, who transformed into his human form, attacked this heretic Zerg King with everything they could, but most of their attacks were eaten by this manʼs purplish black aura, as if it were bottomless.

”You look delicious as always~ hahaha.” said the Heretic Zerg King, but he is now unable to approach the three gods protecting the Zerg Queen.

”Itʼs you~!!” The Queenʼs voice trembled in rage and disbelief.

The face of the Zerg Queen paled for a moment as he recognized the man before him. His thoughts are in a mess.

ʼItʼs the same one who used to live in the body of King Augustus. But didnʼt the king say this bastard had died!?ʼ

”Stay away! Donʼt approach the Queen,” Zhi Yue said as he controlled the essence of the moon in space to create a huge formation and wanted to catch the man before them.

Colonel Cyril said, ”Stop, Yue. This being can get stronger by eating!”

As if answering the words of Colonel Cyril, the Heretic Zerg King sucked up the Moon Aura that had gathered in place. The man successfully ate a quarter, making his current body glow with the divinity of the moon. Thankfully, with the warning from Cyril Bailey, Zhi Yue dispersed the remaining power of the moon, preventing it from being absorbed.

Zhi Yue panicked at the scene of their enemy getting stronger thanks to his moon aura.

”Ah! He ate a quarter. What should we do? He is at least in a Highgod class after eating a bit of my divinity,” the silly Moon God said.

”Move. That thing is mine to kill.”

Abruptly, someone gave the trio a shoulder pat and dragged them away. With a terrible atmosphere around him, the Zerg Queen advances, and the wrath glinting in those silver eyes is evident. Out of its depths, a flicker of darkness appears.
