I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1371 19.30 Second Red Star - Anomaly in the Human Race

Queen Titania had been staying in the military in the morning to train his men and returning to the kingʼs palace at night to relax ever since the invasion of the human species had been predicted.

Regarding King Augustus, he had isolated himself and was attempting to both heal his wounded soul and break the curse that had been placed on his body. Though not severe, his soul ailments require divinity to cure.

He was forced to rely on Colonel Cyrilʼs inventions, pills, to keep his injuries from getting worse because his body could not allow him to use heavenly powers to repair his soul injuries.

Inside the Kingʼs Chamber...

There was a configuration covering the entire space that made it impossible to enter. Additionally, it stopped all peering methods, both tangible and intangible. King Augustus is meditating while seated lotus-form on the ground and surrounded by old runes that quadruple the local qi. Suddenly, he throws up blood in his cough.

He has bloodstains all around him. The number of times he had coughed up blood is too many to count because the floor nearly turned into a blood puddle. Thankfully, King Augustus has a variety of medications strewn about. Every time he threw up, he would come to one that refills blood. He checks the curse on his body and casually wipes the blood from his mouth.

King Augustus mumbles, ”A bit more. Just a few more curse chains to destroy and I would be able to wield my divine powers. Once I remove this curse, I will devour that bastard that put this on me. Tsk!”

He resumed his meditation with a fluctuating aura, and a few purplish black chains were attached to the body, sealing his soul in this vessel. These are the curse chains that he was inflicted with.

Meanwhile, in the Imperial Palaceʼs First Training Field...

Five halflings were emitting an aura while some of their body parts exposed their bloodline as a zero. Even the Blue Morpho Butterfly Wings of Cid Warlock were unfolding, causing too much attraction in the area.

Former Lieutenant Solan had grasshopper legs and arms; Kian had stag beetle horns and a queen ant antenna on Roanʼs head; and Lucas almost controlled his full transformation as a Zerg Black widow.

In front of them, Marquess Conrad was wearing an expressionless face, yet stern eyes were landing on them. Beside this man is a gentle-looking Colonel Cyril, who helps his husband wipe his sweat and hand him a cup of water.

”Donʼt let your concentration flatter, or you will return to your human form again. If you want to fight unhindered in the galaxy, you must be able to fully transform so you wonʼt need to breathe in space and fight properly with your own body!”

”Control your blood and let it flow all over your body and retain that state for half an hour. If you fail to do so, there wonʼt be lunch for you, and you will be punished for doing some push-ups.”

Upon hearing this, the halflings trembled a bit before continuing their concentration. They were all covered in sweat as they were told to meditate under the sun ever since it rose this morning. Once Marquess Conrad saw that their aura started to stabilize, only then did he join his wife at the side to rest, avoiding the sun.

Colonel Cyril passed a cool towel and said, ”Good work. Want a drink?” He also passed a glass of iced water.

The marquess happily accepted the iced water and drank it. Being served by his beloved is truly a happy feeling. After all, itʼs an expression of love between couples.

”Rest for a bit. They should be okay for now,” Colonel Cyril said. ”Darling, do you think Zhi Yang is alright?”

”Donʼt worry about him. He should be okay. He is someone who had helped the brother of the lord in world-hopping to find his brotherʼs soul fragments. Compared to the silly Zhi Yue, itʼs hard to capture that one unless he intentionally lets himself get caught. Didnʼt Lord Chaos say he was captured by Milordʼs other self? He should be safe,” Marquess Conrad said.

Colonel Cyril held his chin as he thought of something and said, ”Indeed. Compared to Yue, Yang is a lot more mature and powerful. He should return if he is done with work. Iʼm more worried about the Heretics. If they truly gain an ability thanks to the World Eater, would they possess the ability to devour? Can they eat everything or just flesh?”

”Flesh-eating beings can easily be distinguished. The scent of blood and rot lingers on them. Just instantly kill who possesses that kind of smell. Even if we are wrong, there is no way a being that has that scent is decent anyway. Who cares if you kill wrong? There are only enemies in war,” the Marquess said.

Colonel Cyril sneered and said, ”You are right. Even if we are killed wrongly, who will care about it?”

Upon hearing their instructors discourse, Cid Warlock and the other halflings shuddered to think of the people who would eventually turn against these couples. Zerg Queen and Zerg King are already extremely difficult to defeat. He questioned how he was able to survive after running into these monsters, especially when he added the pair, Marquess Conrad and Colonel Cyril in the mix.

A nut was flicked towards them when Conrad Silver noticed their auras flickering, obviously disturbed by their thoughts. In the end, the nut was the last straw, and they all failed to control their focus. They were told to do a set of push-ups and run around the training ground with weights on their bodies until they looked like tired dogs.

Marquess Conrad commented, ”Barely is passable. I will throw you guys out in the galaxy to control your transformation. If you fail, you can only die in space.”

”D-Devil Spartan!”

Losing Cid Warlock and having escaped with those beings that seem to be from the Zerg Race finalized his standing as a traitor. The Human Race was enraged and wanted to exterminate the halflings on their planet. Who would have thought that all of these halflings left their star as soon as the execution of their king had begun.

As soon as they leave, these halflings head to the Hive, trying to seek protection from Cid Warlock.

Most of these halflings are those with zero bloodlines. Those with beast bloodline had run off to the Planet owned by the Beast Race. Even though they were enslaved on this star, at least they werenʼt killed for show, like on the human planet. As for those half-insects, they were all accepted into the resource star given by the Zerg Queen to Cid Warlock, and he called it Eden Star.

Eden Star is affiliated with the Hive Star and is under their protection, so halflings that live here can seek work in the Hive. This solved the connection of the two stars and greatly increased the population in the Hive. Since Eden is under the name of Cid Warlock, no Noble Zerg tried to move it as he had proven himself as someone from the Royal Zerg Tribe.

Though there is still some opposition thanks to his Warlock Family name, no one dares to pit against him due to the incoming invasion of the Human Race.

---

What happened before the news of the human raceʼs plan to invade the hive came out?

At the Federation Star, the territory of the human race. Headquarters of the Federation Military.

Within the Federation, there are four marshals. The north, south, east, and west marshals. Even on the human-owned planet, a few leaders divided their domains into five parts. The only simple zone where the four nations can engage in trade, negotiate treaties, etc. is the central zone. Additionally, the middle zone is the sole area free of marshal ownership.

The strength of the Marshals is at most S+. However, they are getting older and gradually losing strength in comparison to the last and young Warlock Family descendent, Cid Warlock.

This is also the reason why they wanted Cid Warlock to fall from his pedestal as the Hero of the Human Race. The Warlock family is considered the family of heroes. After all, they are the ones who killed the Zerg Emperor before. But an unexpected change happened in the Federation: a young Sentinel called Mo Shizhe killed the Marshal of the North and took over his troops.

The Marshal of the North is hated by his people, as he suppressed them with authority and abused his power as one of the leaders in this star. So the existence of Mo Shizhe after he defeated this old man was like a hero saving them from a villain. There are also rumors saying that Mo Shizhe is the illegitimate grandson of the former Marshal of the North.

It was also because of this man that the Headquarters failed to recapture Cid Warlock. They were busy fighting against this new young marshal, who put their positions in danger. With such a young age, he took control over the people of the deceased North Marshal; his potential is said to be above SS+ as well, which terrified the old men who already had one foot down to their graves.

Their greed only got stronger as they became marshals. As they get older, the more they donʼt want to let go of the power in their hands. In the end, the Human Race got weaker and weaker as those with potential were all killed by them before it could even grow.

But Mo Shizhe is the only exception. At such a young age, he is already above the strength of these dying old men, and he is practically a devil that pursues strength and power. He kills anyone who says otherwise, and he is the tyrant to the human race like King Augustus is to his Zerg Race.

The three old marshals tried to kill him once again, but Mo Shizhe broke all their plans to pieces and is now kneeling before this young man whose strength is that of a demon. Thus, they plotted his capture to be experimented, only to fail in the end.

Within the destroyed meeting hall in the military headquarters, only a young man with black hair and obsidian eyes sat on a chair. In front of him are three old men who looked beaten up while lowering their backs like an eunuch meeting their emperor. No one dares to meet this young manʼs eyes.

What was surprising was that, despite the destruction in the hall, there arenʼt many dead bodies, but an eerie, purplish black shadow lingers on the cold ground like it is alive. When this shadow approached the old marshal, they couldnʼt help but tremble and want to back away. After all, they had witnessed this shadow eat the soldiers that were with them just now.

Their plan was to capture Mo Shizhe, who is also known as the Youngest Marshal of the Federation Star and the new hero after the betrayal of Cid Warlock. The old marshals thought they could control Mo Shizhe, as he is nothing but a young man, not even in his thirties.

The indifferent young man was currently looking down on them like he was staring at lifeless bugs. Uninterested and aloof. He doesnʼt care about their schemes and plots and was watching the joke unfold. Onky, when they tried to touch him, overwhelmed them with power beyond theirs and instantly became a loser who was about to die.

Mo Shizhe, who was playing with the small sun in his hand, spoke with a cold voice, as if freezing the hell all over.

”Have you sent my intention to invade the Hive?” The young man with indifferent eyes asked.

The old men kneeling on the ground immediately responded, as if answering late would mean forfeiting their lives.

”Yes. Yes. We spread the news. The Federation had even sent a draft message to everyone on the planet for this event, as you command.”

Mo Shizhe said, ”Minors, especially those below ten, are not allowed to join or he will get angry at me again. I still donʼt understand what he likes about those fragile weaklings.” The last sentence was a murmur.

”Of course, we didnʼt add them. All those who received the draft will be arriving in a few weeks.”

”What should we do next, Sir?”

A cold smirk appeared on Mo Shizheʼs expressionless face, making him alluring yet full of a dangerous vibe. If there were females in the area, they would definitely fall for him at this moment.

”Heh~ What are you asking for? Didnʼt you want to fight against the Insect Race? I started it for you~...”

The news caused everyone in the hallway to become pale. They may wish to wipe out the Zerg Race, but they will not endanger their own people. However, they were forced to battle with their people because of the young guy in front of them, and if they lost, their losses would be too great to bear.

”By the way, youʼll come out to fight too. Those who can fight but remain on this planet during the war will be killed by me. So decide well~”

The elderly marshalsʼ faces took on a look of despair. They now understand the extent of this young manʼs evilness. He has no regard for humanity and would kill anything that opposes him. Since he already possessed the most power in the Federation, he is an enemy—even more so than the Insect race.

Mo Shizhe looked at the little sun in his hand and said, ”Zhi Yang, what do you think of this plan? Do you think he will like it? I gathered enough people to play with him. He should be able to enjoy himself well.”

[Lord Hei hasnʼt woken up in this world yet. So I donʼt know. When will the lord let me go?] System Yang responded calmly. He had long realized that this person possessed a similar aura of the God of Void except for the different kind of power he wield, he and the God of Void are indeed of the same origin.

Ignoring the question of System Yang, ”Well, thatʼs also true. I should wait for a bit more until he comes out. It would be boring if he hasnʼt awakened yet. Though Chaos said he plans on doing something fun, I wonder if he has done something yet,” Mo Shizhe said.

Mo Shizhe glanced at the old men and walked towards the darkness. When turned around, a glint of crimson flashed from the depths of his dark irises.

”If you guys failed, you know what would happen, right?”
