I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1367: 19.26 Second Red Star - Queen Titania Fainted

The Zerg King and the Zerg Queen parted ways because of a misunderstanding. The former thought the latter never cared about him when he saw the queen off when he left the hive but was ignored.

Moreover, when Queen Titania averted his eyes when he met King Augustusʼ eye, it just now made the queen similar to the reactions of the other female Zergs—pushing King Augustus into depression and hiding disappointment in his heart.

Seeing his eyes avoided, King Augustus disappointedly mumbles as he watches Queen Titania walk away, ”So is it not him either?”

The two wardens, who suddenly reappeared from behind, and System Yue, who longed, to fly away to chase after Queen Titania was forced to be muted. They watched the whole scene and felt that there was something wrong that happened in the middle of the conversation.

Colonel Cyril said, ”Lord Ye, why donʼt you try again? I had a feeling that instead of saying he avoided it instinctively, the queen moved away his gaze in disappointment.”

”You also think he is Jingʼerʼs incarnation like Yue?” King Augustus asked.

Colonel Cyril nods his head while Marquess Conrad adds, ”Queen Titania is soft towards children. In the Human Star, he spared even the lives of human children, even though he is a Zerg.”

”He also protects cubs so closely and smiles once at them,” Cyril Bailey said.

King Augustus thought for a bit. He believes the words of his wardens, as they would never lie to him. They signed a soul contract to serve him and his wife forever.

The Zerg King mumbles, ”Why is he disappointed?”

”Master, maybe because he returned home and saw you gathering female zergs in the Imperial Palace. He was pissed when he saw such a long line reaching the gates of the Imperial Palace,” Marquess Conrad Silver said.

Colonel Cyril Bailey asked, ”Does the Lord want to try something else to check whether the Zerg Queen is my masterʼs incarnation?” He is suggesting doing something more intimate, like a hug or something.

King Augustus mumbles, ”If Iʼm wrong, Jingʼer will beat me up. Sigh~ let me think about it for a while. Tell me what happened.”

”Yes. The Human Race started executing all halflings in existence. They did a public execution when we arrived on the human star. Those halflings witnessed their wives and families killed and dead. Only a quarter-human halfling girl survives. This girl is the daughter of that man who stood behind Cid Warlock,” Marquess Conrad Silver reported.

Colonel Cyril Bailey said, ”Cid Warlock and the halflings were betrayed by the humans and were used as experimental subjects. Though Cid Warlock didnʼt die, he is indeed treated better than the others. The humans seem to hate them for their mixed bloodline.”

”Also, because of the daughter of Solan, Queen Titania chose to interfere personally and blocked the main force that the headquarters sent as reinforcement to capture Cid Warlock. It must be because he felt that the little girl was pitiful and couldnʼt lose his father as well. We were surprised as well. His main element is ice.”

”Apollo Butterfly Tribe is an ice elemental Butterfly Race. They inherited them from the former Zerg Empress Bloodline. So it seems that after that successful escape, the humans knew that Cid Warlock had gone to the hive. Tell him to clean up this mess on his own. His title will only be given once he gives me at least one generalʼs human head. Look after the hive.

I will try to destroy the curse on this body. It might take a long time to do so. I want to try destroying the curse on this body. It might take a long time to do so.” King Augustus said as he stood up, preparing to leave.

Marquess Conrad and Colonel Cyril didnʼt stop him, as they knew that he might be upset or something. They just bid him farewell with a bow. They watch as King Augustus disappears on the spot as he teleports back to his palace.

On the other hand, Queen Titania thought that the interest King Augustus showed him before was fake. Even the event where he sent him off to the top of the Imperial Palace was simply a facade to keep their relationship as king and queen. The existence of the unknown wife of the Zerg King had already made him keep a distance.

This is also the reason why he held back reacting when he saw him send him off that day.

In the Queenʼs Palace, Titania Ambrosia sent his people away, saying he wanted to be alone for a while. He sat on his bed, dazed. He couldnʼt forget what King Augustus had said just now. A nonchalant with a bit of hesitation said to him, ʼThat is all.ʼ

Pfft... hahaha~

Mad with laughter, Queen Titaniaʼs laughter was tinged with disappointment and melancholy.

”That is all, ha? As they say, the more you expect, the more you get hurt in the end. I will no longer expect anything from him. After all, he has a wife and I am nothing.”

System Yue watched as the brilliance within those silver eyes turned dull and lifeless. This is the eyes of someone who has closed off his heart to anyone. He couldnʼt help but tremble at the resemblance of these eyes to those pairs of silver eyes of Lord Hei before he met Sovereign God Ye. No expecting, no emotions; everything is hidden behind a fake smile, which gives people chills and fear.

[I am definitely not wrong! This is Lord Heiʼs incarnation. I should tell Milord.]

But before he teleported, someone grabbed him in the space that was only for him. A familiar voice resounds in his mind.

”Where are you going, Little one?”

Itʼs Chaos. The same person disappeared in the last world after confronting Lord Hei, who woke up for the first time.

System Yue panicked when he saw those monochromatic silver and black irises paired with phoenix-shaped eyes like Hei Anjing.

[L-L-Lord Chaos!? W-Why?]

Chaos hummed as if watching an entertaining play: ”You canʼt tell him that this one is a soul fragment. I will lose all the fun. Come with me for a bit. Hehe~”

He glances down at Queen Titaniaʼs expressionless, soulless face. This looks a lot like him when he perished tragically all those years ago in the Void by himself. Because he was spared by that bastard, he was unable to confront him with all of his fury and kill him with his own hands. However, this does not mean that he stops feeling the bitterness of being left behind. His spirit is scarred by this.

He will never truly understand what serenity is like until he exacts his revenge.

Chaos smiled and said, ”Should I slowly return his memories? Letʼs begin with the painful ones first.”

System Yue looked worried and asked, [Lord Chaos, is it fun watching yourself in pain? Isnʼt Lord Heiʼs incarnation also a part of you?]

The smile on Chaosʼ face disappeared and silence descended in the area.

”If possible, I also donʼt want to do such a thing, but... Iʼm already broken. When he had chosen to kill himself that day, we were never sane anymore. The pain and hatred intensify every time we see Xia. Thatʼs why I donʼt know how the main body chooses to remain by his side. He is the one torturing him.

Worse than I am,” Chaos said. ”If youʼre so interested, why donʼt you stay inside that little oneʼs body? Iʼve returned his memories, and the most painful ones were the ones that returned first. See the source of our hatred for yourself.”

Chaos threw System Yue into Queen Titaniaʼs body and merged with him, temporarily taking the Zerg Queen as his host. Together with him is an orb of memories that Lord Chaos had thrown together with him. This orb broke into pieces as soon as it went inside Queen Titaniaʼs soul. The Zerg Queen had fainted in reality.

”Thatʼs right. See it for yourself. How much suffering those long millennia are? How painful it is to live in the darkness alone and how we had gone mad in the end. In the first place, I am not the craziest one of us all. Itʼs the main soul who is the most broken.

Thatʼs why we allowed him to reincarnate as soon as possible. You donʼt understand him that well.”

Chaos mumbles as he once again disappears after watching Queen Titania groan on the bed, suffering from some unknown great pain he would have never expected to happen to him. When a palace servant came to check on the queen, he saw him on the bed, groaning while covered in cold sweat. He had intense pain imprinted on his face.

”Your Highness? Your Highness!” The palace servant turned pale at this scene and started shouting for help. ”Ahh! My Queen!!! Someone... Someone summoned the imperial doctor!

The Queen... Something happened to the queen!”

The situation with the Queen had almost flipped the whole Imperial Palace. Even King Augustus, who was supposed to be in seclusion, panicked when he heard the news. At the Kingʼs Palace, King Augustus ran out of his room the moment he heard what happened to Queen Titania. He was taking a bath when he heard the commotion.

He hadnʼt completely worn his clothes yet when he immediately teleported to the Queenʼs Palace, which was not full of Imperial doctors and healers.

When the Zerg King appeared, everyone was shocked and terrified. They never expected that even King Augustus would be informed about this situation with the Queen. Especially when they saw the ugly expression on the kingʼs face, full of worry and panic. They never expected this to happen.

When they saw the king pull away the doctor and sit beside Queen Titania, an unknown bright aura came out of the kingʼs hand and covered the queen with it.

Only the Imperial Healers knew what it was—a light element at the highest level. That golden glow is a holy light that can heal anything in this world. King Augustus forcefully used his divinity to heal and check on the Queen. This was the scene that Marquess Conrad and Colonel Cyril witnessed when they arrived.

Marquess Conrad said, ”Milord, no! Donʼt use divinity! Your curse!”

Cough!

King Augustus coughed a mouthful of blood, which startled everyone in the scene. All the doctors, healers, even the servants, and the royal guard in the area were shocked.

”Your Majesty!”

The Zerg King waves his hand to stop them from approaching. He nonchalantly wipes the blood on his mouth with his robes and continues to heal the Queen. But King Augustusʼ frown just turned deeper as he observed the situation. Queen Titania wasnʼt injured in any way, not physically or spiritually. But the pain on his face cannot be fake.

When King Augustus lifted his divine aura, his expression turned even uglier. He noticed Zhi Yueʼs soul in Queen Titaniaʼs spiritual domain in a comatose state, but his presence was enough to say that Titaniaʼs soul was being protected by him. He wanted to ask Zhi Yue, but it meant he needed to wake him up personally by entering Queen Titaniaʼs soul.

King Augustus said, ”Only one doctor and one healer remain. Conrad and Cyril stay. The rest, go out for this King!”

The sudden exertion of the powerful aura terrified all those inside the room except the wardens who chose to guard the door and threw those people who didnʼt react right away. As for the doctor and the healer to remain, the most powerful one stayed as ordered. They are one of the oldest zergs in the hive and the ones with the most experience when it comes to situations like this one.

Tension descends in the area. Only when the Imperial Doctor approached and asked the Zerg King about his plan, which he guessed, did he send people away.

Imperial Old Doctor Ruth asked, ”Your Majesty, are you going to try entering the Spiritual Domain of the Queen? Itʼs dangerous. You arenʼt a real couple. The Queen will definitely reject you. Please think twice!”

”If your soul is injured, you will be greatly weakened. Your Majesty, letʼs not try it or let others try,” the Imperial Old Healer Kane said.

King Augustus exclaimed in anger. ”Only I am allowed to approach the Queenʼs soul domain! No one else is allowed. You two just focused on the changes in our bodies and did your job.”

”Yes!” Doctor Ruth and Healer Kane had no choice, but to agree to this command.

When Augustus Kaiser held Queen Titaniaʼs cold hand just now, King Augustus felt that familiar feeling when he held Jingʼerʼs hand. His wifeʼs body temperature had always been lower than others. Itʼs an initiated thing and something he was born with.

Moreover, seeing Titaniaʼs pale face while groaning in pain made his heart feel discomfiting, and an uncontrollable panic in his soul made him realize something. Maybe Zhi Yue was correct from the start—that Queen Titania is indeed his wifeʼs incarnation. If so, there is only one way to check whether it is real or not.

Lifting himself to his feet, King Augustus bent over Queen Titaniaʼs bed. The Zerg Kingʼs move stunned Doctor Ruth and Healer Kane, causing them to gasp involuntarily. Colonel Cyril gave them a wary look, and they covered their mouths. Augustus Kaiser lets his lips dance with Titaniaʼs while he looks at her expressionless face.

As soon as he sensed the link between their spirits, those previously frigid eyes began to melt. He was both surprised and happy.

Nobody expected to see such kindness and affection from their king, but those two crimson eyes melted with it. Augustus only had to kiss once to know exactly what he wanted. A grin emerged from the corner of his mouth, and he now looked at Titania as though she were the center of the universe.

”It is indeed you, my most beloved.” King Augustus whispered in happiness.

But his smile immediately faded when he recalled what happened in the throne hall just now. King Augustus suddenly regrets all the words said in the throne hall. Maybe he should have believed Yue. After all, that brat had accompanied his wife longer as a soul. There is no way he would make a mistake if he said that someone was Jingʼerʼs incarnation.

King Augustus said, ”Conrad, I donʼt know what will happen. If something happens to me, take authority. Let Cid Warlock lead if he rebels or someone rebels. Kill them all! Cyril, the same thing if any of the Female Zergs rebel.”

”As you wish, Your Majesty!” The two kneel in acceptance of their mission.
