I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1384 19.43 Second Red Star - Cocoon

The lovers had a short reunion while saying flowery words of love to one another. Just as the scene was getting hot, the forgotten flower fairy finally couldnʼt hold back from being ignored and flew in between the couple.

Starflower fairy, Star complains, ”Stop! Donʼt ignore me! You sickeningly sweet couple. If you want to do it, go on the surface!”

Annoyed, Hei Anjing grabbed the little fair and said, ”Bug, you are being noisy today.”

”Ah! Let go, you devil!” Fairy Starflower struggled under the hands of the God of Destruction.

Hmph!

Hei Anjing conjures a small flame in his hand, which startles the starflower fairy.

Fairy Starflower looked terrified but still complained, ”How can you wield fire!? You donʼt have compatibility with it!”

”Hmp! Itʼs thanks to my husband. We can share talents; his fire ability is top-notch, so I can use it as well. Do you want to get burned?” Hei Anjing said while smiling teasingly at the little fairy.

When the starflower fairy had had enough, he drove them from his domain. The pair could no longer go inside, and they resurfaced above the dark water beneath them. When Ye Xiajie noticed that they had arrived back in the misty area—the typical location of his wifeʼs spirit domain—he inquired about Titania Ambrosia, the soul fragment.

Ye Xiajie held his Jingʼer up and asked, ”Are you alright, baby?”

”That audacious bug! Iʼm going to rip his wings next time. Oh, my back~” Hei Anjing complained as he let his beloved massage his back.

The God of Void was dragged under the usual tree with white leaves and noticed that Titania Ambrosiaʼs soul was frozen under it.

”Hm? What happened to him?” Ye Xiajie asked.

Hei Anjing answered, ”He couldnʼt control Mau Loa; his soul was frozen as a backlash.”

”Will his soul in this state affect you?” Ye Xiajie asked worriedly.

Hei Anjing shook his head. ”Aside from being the God of Destruction, I am the God of Winter and Snow. Of course, it doesnʼt affect me, but... he canʼt return to normal anymore. To exist, he needs to merge with me. Letʼs wake him up for now.”

With a raised hand, he summoned Eternal Ice to come back to him. Hei Anjing held a small white lycoris in his palm that was swaying as if it were joyfully meeting its master. However, it trembled as if it wanted to bite Ye Xiajie. A tiny, mushy snowball was hurled in the direction of the God of Voidʼs face. It is blocked without expression by Ye Xiajie.

It called forth the lazy hell flame as though it understood where the wrath of the white lycoris originated. He hurled a black lotus blossom towards the white lycoris after it materialized on his hand.

The white lycoris eagerly folds its petals toward the black lotus, as expected, giving the impression that it wants to pull them off. At this sight, the drowsy black lotus woke up and simply stared at the white lycoris biting at its petal. He decided it was nothing and went back to sleep.

Chuckles and Hei Anjing asked, ”What happened to them?”

”Um. When your Eternal Ice went berserk, it spread its frost all over in reality. My Hell Flames melted its territory, which pissed off your flower, but Hell Flame is lazy all day. Unless I woke it up, it would continue to sleep. Thinking that your Eternal Ice was being ignored, it ended up clashing like that,” Ye Xiajie explained, which just made Hei Anjing laugh even more.

It was to be expected that his Eternal Ice would be thus immature and skilled at temper tantrums. Upon their initial encounter after his initial awakening, the Eternal Ice behaved as a dignified, elderly ice spirit. It appears by his current reaction that it was a newborn Ice Spirit, not an elder Ice Spirit with a thousand years on it.

Cough. Cough.

A sound of someone coughing was heard when the couple turned around and saw Titania Ambrosia, who had just woken up after being melted from her eyes.

Hei Anjing crouched in front of Titania with a mischievous smile and said, ”Youʼre awake.”

Cough

Titania Ambrosia didnʼt respond to the man right away and looked at his hands, which were still covered in frost, which was beyond his control. He can feel his soul weakening. Only then did he look at Hei Anjing. His face was something that looked extremely familiar to him. Itʼs that person who showed him fear—the fear of losing that person.

So he knew why this person appeared in his soul domain instead of Lord Chaos from before.

Queen Titania asked, ”Did you come for me? I am willing to do as you wish.”

”You donʼt seem surprised. Why?” Hei Anjing asked.

Queen Titania looked at the man behind Hei Anjing. That was definitely the soul that resided in Augustusʼ body. If he entered this soul domain once again, it means something happened to him in reality for him to come over.

”Lord Chaos, return the memories to me. I know that I am just your soul fragment,” Titania Ambrosia said.

Hei Anjing asked, ”Are you against it?”

”No. If I merge with you, I will be able to have the family I want, and...” Titania looked at Ye Xiajie behind Hei Anjing and moved his eyes to look at Hei Anjing. ”He will also love me unconditionally as a part of you. That is enough.”

”Sigh~ too reasonable. It would have been better if Chaos was like you instead of causing misunderstandings here and there,” Hei Anjing said.

Queen Titania smiled. ”His hatred is deeper than mine, and... who he hates and who he loves is the same person. Normally, he would be confused.” The last two sentences were something he whispered only for Hei Anjing to hear.

Hei Anjing and Titania Ambrosia held each otherʼs hands and closed their eyes. At the last moment, Titania opened his eyes, looked at the God of Void, and mouthed.

”Thank you, AʼXia.”

Once Queen Titania had merged with Hei Anjing, he completely disappeared into the soul domain, while Ye Xiajie felt a force that wanted to throw him out of this place.

Hei Anjing said, ”My love, I need to evolve my current body, or it wonʼt be able to bear my soul. Please protect me outside.”

”Okay. Take your time. Iʼm here.” Ye Xiajie comes out of his wifeʼs soul domain.

He opened his eyes to find the entire palace covered with burns and strewn with frost. He grasped the two elemental spirits that were struggling in the corner as he observed his beloved becoming encircled by silver silk, eventually resulting in the appearance of a massive cocoon that destroyed the entire palace.

”Your Majesty, are you alright?”

”Whatʼs that explosion? Check the ones injured and bring them to the hospital!”

With the exception of the walls the cocoon utilized as support to remain erect, Ye Xiajie demolished all the other worthless walls in the vicinity with his Monarch Butterfly Wings. The disturbance at the Imperial Palace was so great that it attracted the attention of all. As they stood in one spot, they were startled to find a massive white cocoon hovering over the main palaceʼs ruins.

”A cocoon!? Impossible! No, is the myth real!!”

”Evolution.”

”Who is inside? Is it His Majesty!?”

”No, His Majesty has completed his evolution. It cannot be here.”

”Who is it then!?”

King Augustus fell down and stood before the white cocoon like a guardian. He glares at those bugs that want to be approached. With a flap of his wings, these shameless bugs were thrown away.

”The Zerg Queen is undergoing the evolution of an Empress. Stay away or this lord will burn you to ashes.” King Augustus snapped a finger, and a few wisps of black flames appeared around him. Those few black wisps that touched a few pieces of debris in the area were instantly burned to nothing, which terrified everyone.

Everyone drew back under this threat, but they were unable to take their eyes off the massive cocoon that hid their Zerg Emperor. Their belief that Titania was unworthy of their Zerg Emperor had waned ever since the Zerg Queen entered evolution. They were now eagerly awaiting the birth of their Empress. Reversing the Zerg Empress who was yet unborn, these zergs were forced to kneel before the cocoon.

Meanwhile, in some other unknown space, Lord Chaos and Tun Shizhe, who were playing with Go, were suddenly affected by the changes in their plans.

Cough!

Even weaker was Tun Shizhe, who had his clone devoured. He had just recovered enough strength to mend his fractured arm, but after losing his clone, he sustained serious injuries in his soul. Feeling enraged by the memories of the clone that had come back to him, he looked scary and coughed up blood.

”Impossible! With that much aura of gluttony, how come he didnʼt go mad like others?” Tun Shizhe complained as he saw the clear picture his clone had seen.

Despite the obvious craziness in the God of Voidʼs eyes, he maintained his composure and reason as though gluttony had never had an adverse effect on him. Even those who had consumed large amounts of corrupted world eater pieces would sense their heart demon becoming stronger; they could only subdue it, not vanquish it.

For this reason, he found the current status of the God of Void to be unbelievable.

On the other hand, Lord Chaos, who was holding a white go piece in his hand, was looking at the board, ignoring that his playmate had coughed blood or was enraged. He was actually not interested. He already knew he had failed to make the soul fragment of this world hate the God of Void again. The soul of Hei Anjing was felt strongly as well.

Chaos said, ”It seems he has descended. Titania had merged with him. He is now in this world.”

”Really?” Upon hearing this news, Tun Shizhe was delighted. Only the existence of Hei Anjing, who is the closest to Hunluan, made him happy.

Chaos said, ”If you go there right now, you might get devoured. The God of Voidʼs ability of gluttony had gotten stronger and the negative effects would work on him. This is thanks to the effect of the marriage imprint he shared with my main. That imprint had effects to remove all negative backlashes on the couple.

This includes the madness and uncontrollable hunger the World Eater had suffered from before.”

”How is that possible!? How can he be that lucky!?” Tun Shizhe complained while feeling jealous of the God of Void, who can avoid the madness that comes with the power of gluttony.

Lord Chaos looked bored, yet he still explained things to him. ”Luck? That is the reward you can get after completing the Trial of Marriage. Its requirements are strict and cannot be fake, and the rewards last forever, so that man will never suffer from the madness the power of gluttony brings in, unlike you.”

When Tun Shizhe flipped the go board just now, he lost all control of his anger. They are both having fun. His look was full of madness for a time, but then it became peaceful again. With a sigh, Tun Shizhe, who had become normal again, snapped his fingers to convert the chaotic scene back to the peaceful one that had existed before.

Taking a seat on the other side of Chaos, he moved on the go board by holding a black piece.

Chaos seemed unfazed by the situation, as though he had seen similar scenes from Tun Shizhe before. They carry on with their game as though nothing had just happened.

Tun Shizhe asked, ”What do you plan to do next? Now that Hei Anjing is here, you canʼt make moves so easily now.”

”This world I give up. I will just make preparations for the next world. You should worry about your own,” Chaos said.

Tun Shizhe said, ”It might be hard, but... I plan on using the worldʼs protagonist or some wild gods next time. He canʼt affect the Heavenly Laws that much unless he decides to destroy a star.”

”Well, that sounds fun,” Chaos said.
