I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1373 19.32 Second Red Star - Humans have arrived.

Morning

At the Kingʼs Palace

He groans in his sleep as he sleeps on a large bed in the room ready for Queen Titania. It was obvious that he was having a bad dream, which was uncomfortable enough for him to really groan. He woke up suddenly from his sleep, and the Zerg Queen sat up. He generally dreams of things that are not as unexpected as the nightmare he had today. Being ignored isnʼt that painful, though itʼs stressful.

It didnʼt cause him to panic, unlike the dreams he had this time.

Covered in cold sweat all over his body, Queen Titania grips the blanket under his palms long enough to make his hand pale. There is a slight shaking that even Queen Titania canʼt control. He was even gasping the moment he woke up. After calming down for a moment, Titania covered his face as if trying to hide his shock or maybe even fear. His reaction was so big that it made Zhi Yue worry about him.

System Yue, in his little moon form, hovers around the Zerg Queen and asks with a worried tone.

[Your Highness, are you alright? You donʼt look good. Should I call Cyril to check on you?]

But the Queen shook his head when he heard System Yueʼs words. He didnʼt even remove the pair of hands covering his face.

”Iʼm fine. I will calm down soon. Donʼt worry, Yue.”

After waiting for a while, the whole bedroom was absolutely quiet for a few seconds until Queen Titania mumbled, ”What kind of nightmare is this!? Why do I have to see him... so closely, just half an arm length. He was within my reach. So very close. But...

But he still... Um~...”

[Your Highness?] System Yue called worriedly as he saw the Zerg Queen suddenly turning quiet.

After a few more minutes, Queen Titania finally calmed down. But his mood was affected by his nightmare. Thatʼs why when he ate breakfast with everyone, they didnʼt speak much as they could see that his mood was not good.

System Yue comforted [Your Highness. If you are not feeling well, you can meet the Zerg King if you wish to. He will not get angry at you. I can check on him for you.]

The Zerg Queen hesitated for a moment before shaking his head.

He said, ”No need. If I affected his process of removing his curse, wouldnʼt he be affected more or less. Letʼs just wait for him to come out on his own. I will go to the Military and continue my work.” Queen Titania decided not to bother the Zerg King just because of his nightmare. After eating, he cleaned up and set out for work.

The two wardens see them out, as System Yue leaves with the Zerg Queen to watch over him for protection and support.

Colonel Cyril asked, ”Do you think he will be alright? According to Yue, his nightmare today had something to do with the Sovereign Lordʼs death. Thatʼs the only trauma in the mind of Lord Hei.”

”His memories are in a mess as only the most painful ones return to him. Itʼs a mixture of all his past lives and his current life. The only way to stop it is to ask Lord Chaos, but we donʼt even know where he is,” Marquess Conrad said. ”When the invasion party arrives, the Queen shouldnʼt think about it anymore.”

”Youʼre right,” Colonel Cyril said as he glanced at the closed door of the God of Void.

No one knows what is happening beyond that door due to the formations and barriers the Sovereign God has erected. It can be said that the space within that room is already an area detached from this world, unaffected by anything or anyone.

Another month later...

On a calm day in the hive, a large number of bugs in full or semi-transformed forms congregate in the marketplace to purchase necessities for the day. Cid Warlock and his people have a rare day off today as well. Now, as they eat some skewered mutton on the side lane, they are blending in with the crowd.

They couldnʼt help but look around the area, which didnʼt give them an annoyed or disgusted look like in the Human Star. Instead, there is only bewilderment, happiness, and kindness within these Zergs eyes. They couldnʼt help but recall the descriptions the humans had given about these races. He was cruel, ruthless, ugly, and a monster with no heart.

But compared to their lives in the Federation Star and on the Hive Planet, itʼs like hell and heaven.

In the Hive, there would be cubs that didnʼt have a completed human form who would innocently look at them and smile. There are some who drooled and exchanged meat for candy. They are kind enough to feed these shameless brats some meat and flowers.

A little half-dragonfly cubs bow their heads as they receive a few strings on the mutton in exchange for a basket of flowers.

”Thank you, Big Brother Prince!”

”The flowers are fresh! We picked them up in the mountains!”

”Thereʼs a lot, so Brother Prince can enjoy them.”

”Thank you for the meat, Big Brother!”

The little cubs run out with one string of mutton in each of their hands after giving Cid Warlock a basket of flowers to munch on. As someone from the Butterfly tribe, he loves eating these things, but he can only eat them secretly as his subordinates donʼt know that he is also a halfling. Halflings can eat both human and zerg food.

Cid Warlock smiled as he smiled and picked up a rose to put in his lips. Flowers taste sweeter to Butterfly Zerg Tribes than honey or sugar. Solan, who belongs to the Grasshopper Tribe, was eating primarily leaves and some flower petals next to him. The leaves had a minty taste. Because their desire for human food had not entirely shifted, Lucas and the others were still eating meat.

”These taste good. I should also bring some for my daughter,” Solan said.

Roan said, ”Girls like sweet things. Bring some flowers instead. I think Lili would like that more.”

”Thereʼs a lot of flowers in the Imperial Garden, and she was allowed to get as much as she wanted with the permission of the Zerg Queen. Just finish those yourself,” Kian said.

Lucas said, ”Maybe letʼs just bring her some meat. Didnʼt she like chicken? Letʼs buy her some drumsticks.”

All of a sudden, they noticed a commotion within the marketplace. They saw some people pointing at the sky as if surprised by something.

Someone exclaimed, ”What is that? Is that a spaceship!?” Only humans would use such large spaceships.

”Ahh! Run! We are under attack!”

”Hide! Inform the Royal Guards!”

Meanwhile, Cid Warlock and his team looked above with a grim look. He saw that this was indeed a human spaceship, and for some reason, it gave him a bad premonition. As soon as he saw some missiles coming out of the spaceship, he knew that these guys were invaders.

”They came at the wrong time!” Cid Warlock muttered with a dark expression. ”Roan, fly towards the Imperial Palace, and report the situation immediately. The others will support me to protect the civilians!”

”Yes, Boss!”

Roan unfolds his ant wings as he flies directly towards the palace with urgency. As for Solan and the rest, they split up to block the missiles. After training under Marquess Conrad for a whole month and learning the Spiritual Cultivation Technique, their strength had increased a lot. This is especially true for their physical bodies.

Cid Warlock noticed the dragonfly cubs before, who were lost in the panicking area. He unfolded his wings and saved them from being stepped on. The little cubs were small enough for him to carry two each with his two arms. The moment he unfolded his wings, a bluish light flashed in the sky as he flew and saved some children. Everyone was almost dumbfounded.

Blue Morpho Butterfly Wings is a feature only a royal tribe can possess.

The cubs were brought to a space location before Cid Warlock let them down.

”It should be safe here. Either go here or run to the shelter. Donʼt worry, everything is alright.”

The Zergs in the area kneel down in the presence of Cid Warlock, who has blue butterfly wings on his back. Whether it was civilians or the royal knights that just arrived, they all fell on their knees.

”We greet the royal one!”

”Ease the greetings! We are being invaded. I had someone inform the palace. The royal knights escort the civilians to safety. Everyone doesnʼt run around and move at a calm pace. We will block the missiles for you!”

The cubs were looking at me with sparkling eyes.

”Your Highness, Jiayou!”

Cid Warlock laughed before flying towards the missiles and controlling his wings to cut them. Lucas, in his big black widow form, shielded the weakest in the crowd. Solan was also kicking away the missile and preventing it from falling into the city. Explosions scattered all over the place, yet those who were injured were minimal thanks to Cid Warlockʼs timely saving.

His small team defended the market until the soldiers came and blocked the invaders, preventing them from entering the Hive Star. Numerous female Zerg soldiers flew towards the sky and threw out the spaceship that wanted to descend on their planet. They looked like hot-headed warriors as they fought against the technology the humans brought with them.

In the Military Territory...

The people in the hallway were projected with countless light screens. Queen Titania is seated in the center of the table, decked out in a sleek black military outfit with numerous medals affixed to her left and right shoulders. An actual live projection of the events is displayed on the light screens.

There should be fifteen medium-sized brigade shoulders and mechas, plus at least five huge vessels carrying generals and marshals. Thirty miniature spacecraft, carrying men for logistics and soldiers on reserve.

Beside the Zerg Queen is Colonel Cyril Bailey, and as for his husband, Marquess Conrad, he had headed directly to the space, blocking the entrance of these invaders all by himself. Not far behind are the troops under his wifeʼs command, waiting for his orders at all times.

”Your Highness, the humans had come prepared this time. Iʼm afraid that not only generals have led these people.”

”Are you saying those old bastards come out this time?” Colonel Cyril asked.

”There is a large possibility of it.”

”It might not be just one.”

”All those peak humans come out; it will be hard for us to fight with just the Queen alone. Thankfully, there are Marquess Silver and Lord Cid, but...”

”They might not be enough. There are too many.”

”Your Highness, what are your orders?” Colonel Cyril asked. His tone and gestures are full of respect.

The light displays in front of their eyes did not flinch under Queen Titaniaʼs gaze. He appeared a little confused, and nobody knows what was on his mind. As declared at the most recent court session, the Zerg Queen now held all power as the Zerg King remained absent.

Now, Queen Titania possessed not only the might of the armed forces but also the authority of the Imperial Family, which was typically exercised solely by the Zerg King.

”For now, move the civilians to another nest. Preferably, near the Imperial Palace. No one in this room shall come out until some important people from the other side come out first.”

”For now, let Marquess Silver act as bait to pull those who were hiding to come out. Also, make sure to be on guard. Those heretics will definitely take this as an opportunity to destroy us as well. Donʼt bother the King unless I am about to fall.”

”Do you understand?”

The room was filled with Queen Titaniaʼs heavy aura, which made everyone understand the magnitude of this situation really was. After all, those old bugs still oppose him becoming a female zerg, even after he was selected as a Regent. Moreover, they were forbidden from engaging in the cultivation that the Zerg King had established within the hive.

Actually, they could, but in exchange, they are prevented from getting involved with things in the Imperial Family. These old bugs were former officials before the last Zerg King died and the current king took the throne. They were all so old-fashioned that discrimination against female zergs continues because of them. There are cancers in the upper hierarchy within the hive.

The Zerg Queen had already guessed the schemes in their hearts. They would most likely try to ask the Zerg King to come out and lessen the authority in the hands of the Zerg Queen. But King Augustusʼ state is unknown, and it would be dangerous for him to be bothered if he was undergoing something critical and got injured in the end.

Thatʼs why he gave everyone in this meeting room this warning, which was more like a threat in the ears of those who couldnʼt accept him.
